Paige couldn't believe how busy she'd be with her NEWTs. She also couldn't believe how much she'd need to read for every class she was taking this year. Her backpack was so heavy because of all the books that she was carrying around the school, that she would not be surprised if something would snap or break soon. Which did end up happening as she made her way towards her second class of that day, a class she was already late for because she had spent too much time in the library reading over the material since she had not gotten around to reading it the night before. One of the straps of her backpack snapped in half, causing all of her books to spread out over the floor. She honestly should have seen it coming though hoped for best, even if it was the backpack she had used since her first year at Hogwarts. Muttering some curse words underneath her breath, Paige got down to the floor quickly to collect her books. It was just her luck to have this happen on the one day that she was actually running late for something.

Poppy was glad she had appointed Estella as assistant editor for the Monthly but somehow she felt like she was drowning in articles she needed to go over before they could be ready for print. It was a never ending cycle that she usually loved, and she knew she should delegate more things but she seemed to have trouble letting go. Her brain was starting to feel rather scrambled so she checked the time and nearly jumped out of her seat. Quickly she grabbed her things and started rushing to her lesson she was already late for. Poppy pulled the Monthly door closed and swung her bag on her back in a smooth practiced motion. But she only made it a few steps down the corridor before she saw a fellow seventh year scrambling to pick up what looked like the contents of her bag. Without a second thought Poppy knelt down to help. "Oh no, what happened?" she asked sympathetically as she handed over some sheets of parchment that managed to slide rather far.

(Sorry for taking so long!)
