🌹 Rose Giving Unexpected Delivery #1

While Hinata had expected the chaos of trying to figure out who should deliver which roses, she hadn't really expected one of the deliverers to make a fuss about the deliveries. It was a voluntary thing after all, so she'd assumed that they would be fine with anyone they would be delivering to. And the girl seemed to have a problem with delivering to Edogawas. Which is how Hina ended up looking for Rose in the Pitch. She'd decided to climb up the Stands instead, so Rose wouldn't have to particularly fly down or land. "Rose-chan!" she called out, though it was still undoubtedly not very loud. Still, she was waving her arm about, hoping that would make her sister notice her better.

Rose liked to keep herself in the air as much as possible when she wasn't in classes, so it was no surprise to her when her sister came looking for her that she went immediately to the stands. She finished up the rotation she was on and then raced to the stands, pulling up only just when she reached her sister and booping her on the nose. "Hina-nii!" She noticed the rose in her hand. She'd been expecting one in particular so she was hoping this was from him.​

Hina smiled when her sister stopped right in front of her, not even flinching at the nearing broom. She might not be the best flier out of her siblings, but even she's been taught how to deal with brooms. She grinned back at her sister, and brought out the pink rose, waving it gently to her sister. "Look what I got," she said as she held it out towards the Gryffindor with the accompanying note.​

Rose looked at the rose and the accompanying note and was more than a little confused. Who was this from? There was no signature and no identifying information. Was it from Amory? What if this rose was meant for another girl called Rose who liked cookies too? What if she said yes and showed up to the ball and it wasn't Amory that asked her? What would she do then? What if she said no because she didn't think it was Amory and then he's just at the ball all by himself and he meets a cute blonde or something and then he doesn't want to be around her anymore because he likes the blonde girl better, she wasn't sure she would be able to handle that. "You have to tell me, I know you're the organiser and everything and you don't want to tell people who did their roses, but you have to tell me, this is Amory right? Amory sent this? You have to tell me right now please," if it was Amory she wasn't even sure what to say. Yes? Maybe? She'd sent him a stupid rose and he sent her this. What if it wasn't him? What if it was from someone else? Had she completely blanked someone out? What if there was another Rose out there waiting for her man to send her a rose and it had come to this Rose instead of going to her? Ah! What was she going to do?​

Hina blinked when her sister had begun to spiral just thinking of who sent the unsigned rose. And then blinked some more. Most of the deliveries had come through Eli, she was more or less in charge of spreading out the deliveries to their volunteers and making sure the recipient doesn’t well… deliver the rose they were supposed to receive. And of course making sure that they had enough roses and coordinating, and making sure that she gets the roses Eli was supposed to receive. But yeah, most of the roses and the senders had come through Eli. Or at least the one for Rose did. “W-we can ask Eli, he received your rose this morning I think,” because it was with her rose from Bailey. So it must have been received around the same time.​

Rose didn't know what to say. How was she supposed to ask her brother if Amory had sent her a rose? If he was handling so many then how would he remember one rose? And what if it wasn't Amory, what was she going to say then? She couldn't stop the way her hands shook slightly as she stared at it, almost willing to rose to give up its secrets. Should she ask Amory? Should she just assume and go from there? Eli was probably busy right now, she couldn't just go and interrupt him could she?​
