Unexpected Company

Olivia shook her head at Lou. "I'm not mad at you," she replied easily, "just worried." Olivia hoped that sounded sincere enough. Feeling a sudden chill, she pulled her jacket more tightly around her torso, crossing her shoulders. "If you want to go out sometime with a group of friends, or just need to come over for a drink, I live in Obsidian Harbour."
 
Lou hesitated as Olivia said he needed to get out, mulling it over. He sat up a little, wiping his sleeve over his cheeks again. "Could... Could I go with you now, then? I don't... want to be here, anymore, this place is driving me crazy," he admitted softly, looking to her with his best pouting eyes.
