Under the willow tree

Hogwarts, like what her sister had described it to her, was unique and magical indeed. Only a week had lasted and she was already feeling at home, although, Firmiana was not in the same house as her; they still see each other quite often. Usually Heather would sit at Slytherin table and the other times, Firmiana would sit with her at the Gryffindor table. But she noticed how other people seems to look at them weirdly but nothing was wrong with it as they are related to each other. Heather did get it and she doesn't want to know the reason even.

The red head Gryffindor lay under neath a big Willow tree near the lake. The droopy branch looks like a curtain that shield you from other people to find you but this one was simply a cover from the summer sun of September. Heather would ask her sister to hang out with her but she has other friends to do that with. The Gryffindor would like to meet them but maybe Firmiana wouldn't want it. Bored, she played with her wand, using the levitating spell to sway the branches of the tree.

Living in a castle was a whole new experience, awesome beyond description. Kauri hadn't been here long, but he was finding new things to explore and places to go every day. It was all so much, but no matter how much he explored, Kauri kept coming back to the grounds as his favourite part of the castle. Hogwarts was beautiful from the outside, the lake glistened in the warming weather, and the forest wrapping around the grounds was stunning and enticing.

But today the lakeside was calling Kauri's name, and as he wandered along its banks he briefly wished he had his togs with him. It wasn't quite swimming weather yet, but it would maybe be nice to give it a try anyway. Instead, he settled for skipping stones, combing along the lake's bank to find good flat ones that would fly across the water's surface. He wandered under the swaying branches of a willow tree as he searched, not realising he wasn't the only one there at first. The sight of his classmate almost startled Kauri enough to drop his rocks, but he quickly smiled, giving a small friendly wave with his free hand. "Oh, hey! You're a Gryffindor too, right?"
