[Augustus Westwick]

Augustus was excited for tonight. He felt like the feast would be more fun than it had been last year, mostly because he was wearing a costume that was a lot less restricting than the spider costume of last year. Augustus looked forward to actually eating some of the snacks tonight, even if his teeth might get in the way. He was also happy that Addison had wanted to go with him, and he waited for her to arrive near the entrance of the Great Hall. He clasped his hands together and waited, observing everyone entering the hall and quietly admiring their costumes.

Addison was excited for tonight- even if she was still a little upset about what had happened when she'd been asking Augustus to the feast. She had been noticing him more and more lately, the stunning color of his eyes or that smile he seemed to get just for her. And he was going to the ball with a girl- as his date- the thought made her clam up again and she had to stop to shake it from her mind. She was not jealous, this was Augustus, he was her friend. She sighed. At least she wasn't her sister. Allison would most likely commit murder before letting anyone take Stanislaw as their date anywhere. She was careful, sneaking up next to Augustus and standing beside him, silently waiting for him to notice her in an attempt to scare him.

Augustus kept looking around for Addison hopefully, then jumped as he realized she was already next to him. "Oh!" He let out a small, surprised laugh, then stepped back slightly so he could see her better. "Oh, hello." He said, taking in her appearance and then smiling at her. "We're both undead beings." He told her, it seemed like they had matched accidentally. "We kind of match." He said with a slight smile, then reaching up to adjust one of his fangs. "What do you want to do to start?" He asked her, glancing out into the great hall again.

Addison giggled as he jumped. "We do match," She smoothed her skirt. "I like your eyes." She commented, thinking over his question a moment. She glanced inside, not seeing her sister anywhere yet. "Hmm... lets go get some snacks." She decided, unthinkingly taking his hand and trying to lead him inside.

Augustus smiled a little as Addison said she liked his eyes. "They look strange in red." He commented. "But it is accurate." He added. He nodded as the Hufflepuff suggested getting some snacks, as always, he was happy to let her take the lead. So when she took his hand to lead him inside, it didn't even strike him as unusual until they were passing other people in the great hall. Augustus blushed and reluctantly pulled his hand away, nervous about someone like Luxen seeing this and making fun of them. He still followed Addison, glancing around for any sight of the Slytherin.

Addison didn't even realize she was holding Augustus' hand until he pulled it away. She blushed a little, feeling oddly dejected by it. He would probably hold her hand. The thought startled her and she quickly shook it off. "What do you want to try?" She asked instead, examining the snacks.

Augustus felt a little anxious about being here with Addison, as he had a vague idea that maybe someone would try to make fun of them for being here together. That someone was probably Luxen, if he was honest. He bit his lip, which made his vampire teeth dig in somewhat painfully. He stopped quickly. "Uh, a spider cupcake?" He asked cautiously, looking at Addison curiously. Was she less excited than before, or was he imagining things?

Addison smiled, snagging up the green cupcake for her and a matching blue one for Augustus before offering to to him. "There you go, one spider cupcake." She turned, taking a bite of her cupcake and looking out to see what the rest of the feast was about. She hadn't bothered coming to one before, so she was curious what would happen.
