Open Two Whole Outfits?!

Aonghas had known that the valentines day feast was coming up, he'd been informed about it while preparing for Hogwarts but he hadn't expected to like the place enough that he'd want to go to both events and so had not brought two outfits, thus he found himself wearing the exact same thing for this valentines day celebration. He didn't mind too much, he felt a bit silly maybe, and he was steering clear of the accio photographers so that he wouldn't at least be shown in the yearbook to wear the same things twice. Next year he would be smarter about it, he wouldn't end up wearing the same thing twice. Like everyone else he would be happily sport two suits and it wasn't like it would be too big of a hassle for Aonghas, for all the faults of his family they were pretty good in that regard, he could have a suit for every week if he wanted it, but for now, that didn't matter. He just got himself a snack and continued to wander around the nicely decorated great hall in search of something to do.​

Lauren wasn't at all a person who wanted to walk around like a living barbie doll. She didn't even liked to put on dresses. Her mother had to force her to wear them while she was younger. And now ofcourse they wanted her to dress up nicely for her ever first Valentine's Dance. So the blonde decided to wear the dress her mother had send her. And to send her a photo of it. If she didn't she would hear about it for sure. Lauren wasn't afraid of when she would not put it on. But she figured it didnt'made sense. Lauren didn't felt nice at all in this dress but well she was here. And she would have fun with friends and people she had met. When she came into the room she noticed a lot more tall people than she was but she searched for people from her own year. Gabriella would be there ofcourse and she would love dressing up nicely. She looked like her mother exactly. Lauren hated it. The blonde had no intention of dancing by herself right now so she walked over to the food. Food was always good. When she noticed a famillar face. A classmate of hers and a good friend. '' Ofcourse I can find you with a snack and with food.'' The blonde said with a grin. Their first meeting was something with food too. Lauren tried to eat as much as possible. And it ended in her being sick from all that food. '' Is the food good?'' She asked and didn't even bothered to listen for the answer and put a snack or two in her mouth.

Aonghas glanced up with a biscuit in his mouth when a girl spoke. A smile easily graced his features when he noticed Lauren, they had discussed food before so of course that was what they would talk about here. He finished the bite he had, ”Someone has tae taste test the food,” the boy joked, it was easier to just have fun with a friend, put aside all thoughts of the future and his brother and focus on the good, like his friendship with lauren and the good good food of this event. So, of course at the question he nodded, ”It isnae bad though, would rate it as better than yuleball but no as good as the treats ae hallowe’en,” the boy told her, picking up one of the biscuits he’d been eating and holding it out for her to take and to try. He was happy to share the food and see if she would maybe agree with his take on it, ”Ye look nice by the way,” he motioned with his biscuit-less hand to what she was wearing, ”Ye here wae someone?” he had to figure that some of the people in their year were at this event with someone else. He thought it a bit weird, but people had odd priorities and different interests from his own.​

Lauren hoped people wouldn't notice how akward she felt in this dress. But on the other hand why would she care for that? Why did she even tried to make her parents happy. She knew already how mad they would be on her, she did nothing else than make fun here. Study was just not important for Lauren. The blonde would rather make friends and do fun stuff. She was free here and it was a long time before she had to go home. Lauren decided to stay on Hogwarts over the break and Gabriella had the same thought. It wasn't that they were close or something, but Lauren had been looking for her big sister. They didn't spoke much because Gabriella just send her away because she was studying. Well Lauren tried at least, but now she didn't knew why she tried to reach out to her sister. Gabriella was so different than her. Lauren sometimes thought she didn't belonged in the family she was. She sometimes had wished to be a daughter of her other aunt. The blonde grinned as Aonghas joked that he needed to test the food. '' You are so right. I mean our opinion matters. But you have to taste everything than right? Can you take that?'' Lauren than said when her mouth was empty. She leaned at the table and looked around the room. She noticed lots of girls looking like Barbies and some couple were kissing. '' Iehh weird!'' She said to Aonghas while raising her eyebrows and than laughed. Lauren didn't liked that at all. Why would people kiss that was weird. She never saw her parents kissing, and she was happy with that. But sometimes asked herself if they even liked eachother. '' With Halloween they had amazing snacks. Almost living worms so cool and they were tasty,'' Lauren said with a big smile. She liked fun things and those were awesome. The blonde took another snack and than smiled as Aonghas said she looked nice. Lauren was a bit suprised, nobody had ever said that to her. She didn't really knew how to respond. Perhaps her mother had a good taste for clothes after all. '' Thanks. My mother forced me to wear this. It's really new for me dresses to be honest. I don't really like it.'' The blonde explained. She nodded when he asked if she was here with someone. '' No just me. I just like to hang out with people. Are you cool with that? You know like buddies and stuff.'' Lauren said and hoped that Aonghas would liked to spend some time with her. She liked him, he was fun to hang out with. But she was in the mood for some funny stuff. Perhaps he was too.

 

[Bada Yeong]

Bada Yeong entered the Great Hall feeling small and unimportant. She hoped to find her brother about so she could show off the dress to someone at least. But she knew he would be busy with his girlfriend and had hardly talk to her at all so far during this semester. She spent most of her time studying, she couldn't wait till third year to take their Creatures course. She hoped she'd make a good friend by then to take the classes with her. Looking around she wondered what she should do. It seemed like only couples or maybe friends were dancing and since she hadn't brought either she looked around she spotted food tables. She quickly made her way over with her head down trying not to be caught staring at some of the older students who were kissing, yuck. She moved down the table until she ended up bumping right into another person. "Sorry, I am sorry," she said looking up and spotting her dorm mate Lauren. She was surprised to see her since she hadn't even noticed the other girl getting ready. Looking farther down she spotted Aonghas, though she still wasn't too sure she'd ever be able to say his name correctly. "Oh hello," she said bowing her head slightly pausing realizing she was going about with Korean customs again and how funny she must look. She had been getting better, more used to the culture of New Zealand. "You two here, to-gather?" She asked her housemates wondering if they were among the sort that were already interested in being on dates and such.

Aonghas nodded in agreement, he was happy to taste test all of it. It was the job of someone, it had to be, even if it wasn't officially needed, he wanted to at least try as much as possible, so when she said they would need to do that, the hufflepuff smirked easily. "Aye, can ye?" he challenged easily. There was something fun about trying everything that they could get their hands one. He followed her gaze and joined her in having a slightly grossed out expression on his face too. That was weird, why bother. He knew that someone people liked it, but he didn't and it felt dumb. At the very least the girl also agreed with him that the halloween stuff had been better. He picked up another sweet and put it in his mouth chewing lightly. He was a little surprised that her mother had made her wear a dress but he could also understand when there was family pressure to do something specific. ​

The boy smiled sympathetically at her, "It's a nice dress, but you know, once you've had yer picture taken ye could change and she wouldnae know the difference? Ah can understand difficult parents, ah wouldnae say anythin'" he wasn't sure the if that would be something that she would do. He nodded, "Aye buddies," the boy took another sweet and held it out to her, "Plus yer now ma taste test buddy, cannae be mixin' in anythin' gross while we're tryin' all this food," Aonghas said to her. The boy was surprised when one of his classmates Bada joined them, bbut he gave her a smile and shook his head, ”Naw we’re just pals,” the boy said motioning to Lauren, ”This is Lauren, Lauren this is bada,” though as he introduced them he realised they were all in the same house and year, ”Ye probably already know each other? Bada, we're just testin' the food if ye wanted tae join us?”​

Lauren always loved a challenge and she had been feeling so free and amazing here on Hogwarts. Away from her parents and all their complain. It was like heaven around here for the blonde. Aonghas seemed a lot of fun and by accident they met eachother again by the food. The blonde just liked food a lot so if they wanted to search her they would find here there. When Aonghas reacted on het food stuff she smiled. '' I bet I can eat a lot more than you. '' The blonde said challenging and smiled bright. She was ready for some action between all those kissing people here. Lauren didn't had to think about it. She was curious if Gabriella ever kissed. She hadn't seen her hanging out with a lot of people but one boy sometimes. Lauren wanted to ask her sister, but she was practicly ignoring her everything she walked by so it had no use.

When Aonghas said again that she had a nice dress Lauren grinned. He was so right about that! Why didn't she think of that. '' You are so smart. Why didn't I think of that. I will do that next year for sure!'' Lauren put on her hand to give him a high five and hoped he got the hint. Aonghas talked about difficult parents. She didn't said they were difficult but well he was right about that. The blonde wasn't always happy at home. '' Why? Are your parents complaining to you too?'' she asked curious. They were buddies, that was a nice word. And taste buddies to be specific. And than he said just pals. Two words for a friend she thought, she was happy with that. '' Yeah pals! Go us!'' She said a bit loud. Lauren made a disguisting face when Bada asked if they were here together, just like they were a couple or something. No no no! The blonde than looked to another girl that joined them. She was sure she had seen her before but didn't knew her that well. But than she noticed it was one of her roommates. '' Hi Bada! Cool name. I'm Lauren yeah. A buddy of Aonghas. We can be buddy's too?'' Lauren than said exciting.
'' We already can have a sleep over. Because we are in the same room. So smart.'' The blonde than added and was ready for a food challenge now. '
