It was with a colourful backpack packed to the brim that was almost larger than himself, weighing him down slightly that Miro arrived to Ozzy's doorstep for his very first sleepover with a friend. He simply had to pack more than he needed, and would have packed his entire room if he could have, because what if they went on an adventure that needed the supplies, or ran out of snacks in the middle of their movies? The sleepover would be ruined and Miro was nothing if not determined to make his very first sleepover at Ozzy's their very best one. It was a determination that remained in his squared shoulders after he waved goodbye to his dad and looked Ozzy's house up and down. Damp, dark, and like a dungeon was how Ozzy had spoke about his home, emphasizing it was just like the Slytherin dungeons at Hogwarts and Miro had to admit the sight of the house really added to the creepy atmosphere Ozzy had described. Miro almost felt out of place, or he would have if it weren't for the fact the house was so cool and spooky in a way that would make the movies they watched that night even scarier. Mustering his confidence, Miro smiled to himself so he could make a great first impression on Ozzy's parents, reaching for the metal door knocker and using it to knock. He moved his hands to the straps of his backpack as he waited for the door to be answered, looking to the side of the house and smiling as he watched the garden.

Osiris Vale was not used to ever having someone over to his house. This was the first time. He doubted that someone like Ulric would have playdates. Astraea most certainly would not bring home anyone from her dorm, but she did have this guy friend that he saw lurking around. Though, at times, it seemed like there were two of him. Maybe there were - Ozzy did not pay much attention if he were honest. He loved being at home because of the atmosphere. It was just so Vale. His family had this vibe that just suited everyone in there - him included of course. And thus, the knock on the door sounded, and Ozzy made his way from the living room over to the door, and pulled it open to see his adrenaline-junkie Gryffindor friend. A very unlikely friend, but one nonetheless. "I wouldn't go near the gardens. There are plants there that might bite." Ozzy was giving a maybe there, since he could be telling the truth, or fibbing. The Gryffindor may never know. "Come in and I'll show you to my room." Or should he have Miro meet his family first? Eh, just jump right into horror movies.

Miro's attention was soon pulled away from the garden as he heard the door creak open, a wider smile soon appearing on his face as he greeted Ozzy. He had worried for a moment he had been at the wrong house, but as he waited and noticed how creepy it was in the best way he realized he couldn't have been anywhere else. "Hey!" He said happily, almost tempted to give Ozzy a big hug since he hadn't seen him since school, but ignoring the thought as he was sure it would be awkward given the fact it was Ozzy, and Miro felt a bit out of place and clumsy with the heavy backpack on his shoulders - it would be a recipe for disaster and Miro wanted the sleepover to go well for both their sake. "Do the plants that eat you have names?" Miro asked as he stepped inside at Ozzy's request. He looked around the entry way, eyebrows raising because the house looked even cooler on the inside. "You're right, your house is like the creepy dungeons but better." He commented before he looked over to his friend. "I bought lots of snacks so we shouldn't run out and I'm really excited about the movies." Miro added, shuffling the backpack on his shoulders slightly as he spoke, to show how packed it was.
