Leah hadn't felt this excited for a Yule ball since probably her first year. She had been in a bit of a foul mood as the semester had come to a close with her grades not where she had wanted them, and she'd be spending her holiday with her mother. But when Anisha had said she would go to the ball with her, things seemed to brighten up a bit. She had actually put some effort in to her appearance for tonight which was new for her. Her heart was hammering in her chest as they walked into the great hall with their elbows looped together. For a moment Leah was in awe of the decorations and she longed for the holidays she had had when she was younger with her whole family together. Yes their had been fighting but at least they were together. Quickly she shook off the thoughts and turned to Anisha. "So what shall we do first, food is a must but definitely dancing and presents too." she said enthusiastically.
