Sitting still had never been a talent of Kilda. Ever since she had begun to move, Kilda had. It was a good thing that while not at school Kilda spent her time in the open air of Scotland. She could remain on the Fergusson family estate and still be satisfied with the amount of exploring she could do. Being at school and being as restless as she was wasn’t as easy. The girl found it difficult to stay sat in one place, found it difficult to remain in lectures, it was a wonder that she was pulling E’s at all when she could barely study for more than an hour at a time. However, despite all the moving that she did, Kilda rarely tired. She just kept going and going, never pausing to relax or even consider slowing down. The whole world was out there, and she need to experience as much of it as she could. She only had two years left at school, then she’d join a quidditch team and wander the world. She knew she had a spot in the pride of portree if she wanted it, but Kilda didn’t just want to follow the rest of her family. She wanted to be different.

Kilda was currently at school, finishing a letter to her parents and the rest of her family about all that she needed for the upcoming semester. It was just little bits and pieces that she knew she would need. The gryffindor had finished writing and was making her way to the owlery when as she exited the entrance hall, walking out into the warm late summer air that she ran, quite literally full faced into someone else, ”Ooofft,” was all she could say as she fell to the ground, ”I’m sorry mate,” her thick scottish accent flowing through her words in an almost melodic fashion as she got to her knees to look at who she’d run into, ”Dinnae see you there,” she continued, ”Always forget to look where I’m going,” Kilda finished, realising perhaps he wanted to say something. The girl unsurprisingly was always running into people literally, so she usually waited to see how annoyed they were about it before she reacted any more. The more annoyed they were, the angrier she got. But, she was hopeful that this boy wouldn’t be, after all she had places to be!

Cadell was back at school again for his sixth year and the Ravenclaw was looking quite forward to what he could be learning heading into his NEWT year. It was scary to think that he was almost out of school and had to be living his own life outside of it doing something that he hopefully enjoyed. He wondered sometimes if he could work in his sister's shop but he wasn't any good at what she did and wasn't really sure what else he could do. Nonetheless, his mind was focused on school now and making sure he received the best grades he could so he had the ability to do anything he wanted to once he left.

The boy was off to the library after class, his backpack over one shoulder as he made his way through crowds of people. Cadell was used to the large number of people at his school and this did not bother him so much. It meant that he could blend himself into the crowd whenever he needed to and that was the best part about it. However, it did have its limitations too and it did take a while to get from one side of the school to the other in the middle of the day. He suddenly stopped when he managed to collide with someone, an aching pain running from his shoulder and down his arm. "Watch it." he said, gripping his shoulder in pain. The other person was on the ground. The Ravenclaw watched as she climbed back onto her feet, apologising. "I'm sorry too." He thought that was the right thing to say, despite the fact it was her own fault. "Where are you off to?" the boy asked, hoping it didn't sound too nosy.

Falling into people had it’s faults, one it could occasionally be relatively painful but she had also found that it brought out the worst in some people, not just the Slytherins, but just about everyone. The reaction of the boy to begin with, seemed to her to indicate that maybe he would be on of these people and she wasn’t too keen to keep talking to him, but as it turned out these fears were short lived, given that moments after she had gotten to her feet he actually apologised to her, even though she could admit that it had entirely been her fault, there was no part of it that wasn’t. She shook her head insistently, ”Naw, faults all mine, dinnae you apologise,” the girl told him clearly, since she could admit that it was her fault, that her carelessness had caused this, if it hadn’t been this boy, it might’ve been someone else she could’ve run into, but of course the girl wasn’t thinking about that.

As he asked where she was off to, the Gryffindor pointed at the owlery, ”Sendin’ a letter,” she replied surprised that he was curious, ”I dinnae think ye’d want to join me, but your more than welcome to,” Kilda wasn’t sure why any person would care about joining to such a location, but the girl didn’t give it too much more thought. She held out a hand to him, ”Where were you off to?” she asked in return, hoping that she would be able to help the boy to his feet and they could both go about doing what they were suppose to be doing, ”I’m Kilda by the way,” Kilda introduced, she was sure that this boy was in her year, perhaps he was new to the school because she didn’t really know who he was, but at the very least she knew he was in her year.
