Transfiguration 5:5

Professor Potter decided that she was going to work a bit of conjuring today for her class, since they would be working with those next year. As they all sat down, she rose from her seat, walking to the front of the class. "Welcome. We are going to be working with a bit more difficult animal today." She looked at the class with a grin, then quickly waved her wand, conjuring up a duck on the desk of a very surprised student. "Ducks!" she said excitedly, picking up the animal. "Now, I will conjure up your duck for you when we are ready. Conjuring will be the type of spell you will learn about next year. I didn't want to have a sord of mallards running around the room on us."

As she set the duck in her hands back down, it began to wander around the room. She tapped the air in front of her, and spoke the spell. The duck disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. "Alright. Now do remember that with the right amount of concentration. You don't have to be right on top of your duck. Experiment with moving around the room. I will conjure you a new one if you wish to try again as well. Now if you all will stand up, we can get started."

Once the students were up, she flicked her wand and moved the desks to the side of the room and then with another quick flick, a sord of mallards were in the open area. "Go to it!" she said as she clapped her hands, stepping back to watch the mayhem commence.

Homework:RP attendance. Completing the lesson is optional. Have fun with your duck! I am looking forward to reading your responses.

Morrie thought Professor Potter had lost her mind, why on earth would she conjure up ducks of all animals? They weren't even near any water for starters, and ducks were annoyingly non-compliant too. Morrie huffed, not really wanting to do the class activity but knew she should get it over and done with. She pointed her wand at a duck and said, "Evanesco" The spell missed because the duck moved. Morrie huffed and had another go, eventually she did disappear a duck which meant she could leave.

Kyousuke wasn't enjoying the whole animal part of learning this spell. Animals just weren't well-behaved, and in all honesty, Kyousuke wasn't particularly an animal person. When he saw it was a duck this time around he at least hoped it'd be easier than a mouse in terms of animal-herding. The ducks appeared, and Kyousuke immediately made a beeline for one that seemed a bit less scatter-brained. He followed it with his wand out, trying his best to get to it before it started flapping but of course, the flapping was inevitable. "Evanesco!" Kyousuke tried, but missed. Scowling, he decided to change tactics and go for a different one. This was slightly more successful. The third evanesco met its mark and the duck vanished. Kyousuke was pleased, and a little reticient to try again. He pretended to for the rest of the lesson though, and once over pretended he was pleased with the result. It had been a disaster, in Kyousuke's opinion. But he'd managed it.
