Gwen had been travelling for a while lately and she wasn’t sure when she would ever try and settle down. Her mothers had been telling her that she should. After all, paying for accommodation in some places was a little pricey, and Gwen couldn’t just camp outside with her trusty tent everywhere for the rest of her life either. It was something that Gwen knew she needed to think about but didn’t want to as she simply didn’t know how to settle down, especially without a job. She wanted to push the thought to the back of her mind so she could enjoy her time around the world without a single worry.

Gwen was in France for a week, touring around the country with her large backpack. She had just gone on a muggle bus ride for tourists with a camera that Cadell had brought her for her birthday a few months ago. It took some nice photos, however Gwen was no photographer. She was purely just using it so Cadell knew she appreciated it, and also so she could show him everything she had seen. The former Gryffindor entered a small restaurant not far from where she was let off the bus. She was never one for fancy foods, but was starving. She took a menu and sat herself down, going over everything the place had to offer. “Seriously? They don’t have any chicken sandwiches? What the hell is... Bouillabaisse?” she muttered to herself, getting a little frustrated at the lack of variety. She didn't understand the language too well and just hoped that eventually she would find something on the menu that made sense to her.

Bijoux didn't like to admit it, but she had been drifting ever since graduation. She knew she should have goals, ambitions, should be working towards the things she wanted, but every time she started... something would go wrong, or she would change her mind or think twice, and it all fell apart again. She had been working delivering food while she was figuring out where to go next, and taking English classes at night. She had never been as fluent as her roommates, but if she was going to go to New Zealand some day she needed to brush up her skills first. So when she overheard a tourist speaking English, she figured it might be a good chance to practice her skills. "Chicken sandwich is 'sandwitch au poulet'." She explained with a small smile, pausing next to the woman's table. "And Bouillabaisse is fish soup, is very good. It takes two days to cook." Bijoux went on, trying not to cringe at the strength of her accent compared to the woman's easy English. This was the whole point of practicing, after all.
