How Tomas feels about himself:
Tomas knows who he is and is confident in himself, however, he still has a problem with being who he believes he should be, rather than being who he wants to be. He works very hard to keep his strength of character, and this can tire him out. While confident in some of his abilities, he does not yet know what he cannot do, and so is very cautious whenever he tries something new and this causes him to worry about trying anything he doesn't know. It frustrates him.

Tomas Aither Anthis Hayes
Reason or meaning of name:
Tommy, being an unplanned pregnancy and the younger out of him and his twin, was named randomly, and happened to be called Tomas, after a travelling nurse at the hospital, and Aither as homage to his deceased paternal grandfather. Hayes is of English origin, meaning Hedged Land. Tomas, too, is of English, and Norman origin, meaning Twin, while Aither is of Greek, meaning Bright, Upper Air. Anthis is of Greek origin, and was his last name before adoption. It is related to the name Anthidis, and vaguely translates to Flower.

Tommy
Reason for nickname:
A shortened version of his first name, Tomas. Tommy likes this nickname more than his full name and will not answer to anything else. When in trouble, he will answer to Tomas, and when called Tomas by his father, he will never fail to respond diligently.

Slim. Tomas is by no means a muscular boy, but does like to keep himself healthy and fit.
Shape of face:
Tomas' face is rather heart shaped and a little shallow and gaunt. He does not carry much weight in his face, making it look pointed and sharp.

A pale blue. They are a little eerie, as Tomas rarely focuses on people and tends to look straight through them. They can be mistaken for grey at times, as he rarely holds eye-contact with others, not from submission, but from indifference.

Tomas has perfect 20/20 vision.
Skin tone:
Tomas is not one for sunlight, being quite pale, however, he tends to darken with exposure, rather than outright burn and peel. His skin is soft as he treats it for dryness.
Hair:
Tomas has never dyed his hair, and this has worked to preserve it. It is a pale blond that lightens in the Summer time and turns wavy when wet. Because of its thickness, and tendency to knot, he keeps it short with a fringe that can be swept to the side, brought to stand upwards, or otherwise left to its own devices easily. He prefers to do little with his hair, believing that less is more. However, he rarely makes it stand upwards unless he is aiming to make a statement.
Voice:
Tomas speaks quietly, but with extreme confidence and lack of pressure. His words tend to be carefully pickedin order to articulate his feelings in the bluntest of ways to avoid confusion. He has a New Zealander accent that he can cover if he works at it, being able to pull off a convincing French accent. He pronounces his words sternlyto avoid misunderstanding, and with a boldness that few muster as he only says what he intends to allow others to hear.

Tommy, being mildly materialistic, possesses a lot of clothes. To fuel his self-appointed need to look his best, he dresses very well, enabling him to hold himself with extreme confidence. He prefers to dress along the lines of smart-casual, leaning more towards formal. He is comfortable in more dressy attire, but has been known to thrown on something simple that works, and just leave, but he will never dress to appear shabby. He enjoys blacks and more sombre colours, but never wears straight black and white to avoid appearing 2-dimensional, or like an underweight polar bear.

Tomas has his ears pierced, and so wears earrings in them. He will occasionally wear a badge of some sort, or bracelets and necklaces, but little else. His accessories collection is far greater than his jewellery. He has any hats, belts and scarves to help accentuate his outfits, as well as many different coloured and designed robes. When at school, however, he wears his Slytherin robes with pride whether he needs to or not.

Tomas prefers the classics and often very old books and stories as these were the type of books he was exposed to as a young boy by his adoptive father. However, he does enjoy reading adventure novels and mystery novels, but despises children's books - he feels they insult his intelligence.

Type of childhood:
Tomas' early years were negative, being born into a broken home with two older brothers. Because of this negative environment, Tomas and his two brother's, Tate and Alexan, were taken from their parents when Tomas and Tate were three. He was soon adopted by the Hayes family, and has never returned to England since. He has been contacted by his brothers, but had no interest in conversing with them, as his current home is a very positive and happy one. Until his tenth birthday, he was very much treated like an only child, having the total attention and love of his adoptive father, Austiin Hayes. His childhood was filled with gifts, travelling, and home education in the form of classical texts and being taught how to properly behave when with others. Because of this upbringing, Tommy is very self-assured and aware of his place in the world thus far, as well as what he needs to do in order to improve it. Overall, while the beginning of his childhood was toxic, this new positive environment did much for his wellbeing and allowed him to flourish into a well educated young man, although also made him a little distant to other children. His possessiveness over people results from his early life.

Drives and motivations:
Tomas' main drive is his ambition, and need to live up to the expectations that he holds, and to those that his father holds. He wants to, above all else, make his father proud and have a good life, and set a good example for any children he may have. His curiosity, something that was nurtured as a child, also drives him onward, urging him to understand all he can.

<B>Good personality traits:
Tomas is a very loyal person. Once his trust is gained, it will never be broken on his end and he will always be a devoted friend. He is also very honest - harshly so - and rarely lies because he sees little point in doing so. His confidence is also something that gives him a strengthened personality, as he is rarely deterred.
Bad personality traits:
Tomas is extremely unforgiving, as well as standoffish and spiteful. Forgiveness is difficult for him, and accepting that it's okay for people to fail is foreign to him. He has a sharp tongue when annoyed, and he bluntness can be considered outright rudeness. It can take him a while to warm up to people, as he places a lot of distrust in them upon first meeting, to see if they will work to be his friend.
Most common mood:
Calm. This can be mistaken for apathetic, however.
Sense of humour:
Tomas likes to pretend that he has no sense of humour, however, he finds dry jokes and silly impersonations to be hilarious. This embarrasses him. Hecan be uite witty and enjoys banter between him and someone close to him dearly, but can become flustered and shy if someone close to him playfully pokes fun at him or his reaction to something. Overall, his sense of humour is very silly, and this embarrasses him, so he tries to behave as if he doesn't have a sense of humour to avoid looking silly.
Tomas' greatest joy in life:
Tomas' greatest joy in life is to read and travel around, doing as he pleases without unnecessary restrictions designed to make his life harder.
Tomas' greatest fear:
Being abandoned by his father.
Why?
Tomas respects his father greatly, and is inspired by him to be better. He sees Austiin, and by extension, Austiin's family, to have saved him from an undesirable life, and feels that he has to be better for them. He fears that if he fails in this endeavour, he will be an embarrassment to them, and dropped and forgotten.

His family. He hates a good majority of them, but if they are in his life he will protect them, even if they don't realise it. His studies are also very important to him.

Tomas' soft spot is his father. While he could brush off other attacks, someone hurting his father or otherwise threatening his father would severely worry him and get him very aggravated.

His physical weakness, while not massive, is not the same as his stubborn personality. His habit of being a loner does not help this.
