Tickle the Pear

"How the hell did bologna end up on the floor?" Lily asked with a giggle, finally starting to open her eyes. She realized that she was laying on something and when she looked, realized that she was partially on top of Kale, her head on his stomach. This was not the spot for a good, faithful girlfriend to be in with her boyfriends roommate. She tried to push herself off of him, getting her hand to the floor next to Kale's hip, and pushing up and off of him. As soon as pressure was placed on her wrist, it slipped out from under her on the mustard that was on the floor and she slipped back down onto Kale. "Damn condiments everywhere," she said with a giggle.

Andromeda had the massive urge for a rarer than raw steak, the moon was driving her nuts at this cycle and her appetite always got the more disgusting as a result. She was by now on very friendly terms with most of the house elves and even some of the professors allowed her traipsing down at the more unusual hours to get her meat, so that other students wouldn't have to see and query her diet regime. Tickling the pear in the portrait she climbed in and smiled at the few house elves that were there.

"Hey just the usual tonight" she smiled at the house elf nearest her, "that time of the month again". Andromeda walked to the large table top that the elves were industriously pouring over, obviously in great preparation for the Halloween Feast. She noticed one of the elves scurrying off to fetch her slab of steak and it was then laughter and not elvish laughter and the noise of boisterous activity caught her attention. It was coming from around the corner, where she usually went to eat her meat in peace so as not to disgust the elves. Taking some tentative steps forward Andromeda smiled at the sight of what had obviously been a food fight. When the prone and dishevelled bodies of two students came into her line of vision. She couldn't help but continue to move silently around the large table until they came into full view and she gasped. It had of course been a loud enough gasp.

There on the floor were a Ravenclaw girl, who she had seen up until now but never spoken to and a Slytherin boy and not just any boy but THE boy. What once had been a smile quickly changed to a frown, a glare a knowing look of 'You-Again!" Did the boy do nothing but get himself up to mischief and clearly he had a penchant for Ravenclaw girls too. At least the last time Estrella had caught him in the act and had hauled him off for punishment detail but this girl was in the thick of it with him. Knowing that normally she would have laughed herself senseless at the sight of both struggling to stand up, she might have even offered her assistance. This time she did not.

"Nice example" she threw at them both before stomping back into the other part of the kitchen. The house elf had returned with large deliciously smelling raw steak but there was no way she could eat it in privacy in there now.
"Can you wrap it to go please?" she muttered mutinously, how many more times did she have to run into that boy. At that moment she hated what Zuka termed as fate, fate could take a flying leap for all she cared. Until a thought entered her head, perhaps fate was guiding her to her nemesis. She smiled at Petyon as he handed her the well wrapped meat and thanked him profusely, hurrying to get out of the kitchen and away from THAT boy!

But image if that was the case, what if he and I are suppose to be enemies? The thought stayed with her as she walked to the cavern in the garden to eat her meat in peace.

Kale stayed lying with his back flat on the floor and Lily on top of him. He found their little delima very humorous. When Lily tried to get up he was relieved to see that she seemed fine, though she was having some struggle from slipping thanks to the condiments covering the floor around them. "Well, I threw the bologna on the floor. If I didn't know that it was bologna I would have mistaken that as a banana peel." he laughed, still lying in a puddle of mustard and mayonnaise mixed in with a few globs of barbecue sauce. His hair was matted with the three condiments, it felt gross.

As the Gryffindor girl saw him and Lily on the floor, Kale stopped his laughter and gave her a 'what are you looking at?' type look. He looked back at Lily when the red head said something before she walked out. Kale laughed even harder than before. Why was it that this girl kept on running into him?

Lily was laughing as she tried to remove herself from being on top of Kale, when she heard a gasp behind her. She turned her head to see a Gryffindor girl that she had seen around a few times before, but never actually spoke to. Her face flushed as bright a red as the barbeque sauce that was on the floor around them. She struggled to pull herself off of Kale, and finally was able to roll herself into a seated position next to the counter, her legs sadly still on Kale's. "Who was that girl? She seemed pissed." Lily was a bit concerned about what the girl might say. She had no idea who she was or what she was like. Who knew if she was the kind who would blab what she saw all over the school. Slowly, Lily pulled her legs toward her, wrapping her hands around them and pulling them into her chest.

Kale shifted himself as Lily started to move. When she finally sucessfully rolled over to the other side of him, Kale furrowed his brows at her sudden attitude change. "She's always pissed." he told her with a shrug at his shoulders, "I hit her with a water balloon a couple of days ago and she took it personally." Kale looked at Lily, from as far as he knew the Gryffindor girl didn't say anything to anyone. He figured mainly because Estrella was there and seemed to have matters taken care of in her own hands. With another shrug, Kale ran his fingers through his hair; he grimaced at the moist goo on the top of his head. "This is disgusting.." Kale wiped his hands on his pants, unable to get the condiments off of him. "There's nothing to worry about Lily.." he told her, noticing the concerned tone to her voice and on her face. "If she says anything, nothing happened. Who is Blake going to believe, us or some random girl?"

Lily looked at Kale, then realized he was right. Blake would not have an issue with her and Kale goofing around and having some good, clean fun. Well, good fun anyways. He would just be upset that he wasn't there to nail Kale with the mustard himself. "You are right. Why would he believe some random chick over us?" she said with a chuckle. Feeling around on the floor next to her, she was able to get a handful of mayo that was there and whipped it at Kale's face. "You so are in trouble for getting me all nasty!" With that, Lily stuck her tongue out and blew him a raspberry.

It was good to see that Lily didn't have a face of worry any longer. Kale and Blake were great friends, they were roommates, how couldn't they be? He wasn't going to worry about what would happen if the word got out around campus. It wasn't likely. Kale brought his arms up and reached his hands up towards the counter until her felt another glob of the disgusting mix of condiments slap him across the face. Lily followed the gesture with a raspberry. Kale's eye brows met at the center of his forehead and he stared at her for a couple of seconds, "You're not serious! That was all you!" he exclaimed with a laugh. At that, Kale reached over for the bottle of barbecue sauce and squeezed it tightly, in hopes that the fountain of sauce would hit its desired target. Since Kale was already in need of a shower from their escapade, he decided to have some fun while it lasted.

Lily squeeled as the sauce hit her face. "Oh, you so did NOT!" she yelled, scrapping together anything she could off the floor, noticing that she got ahold of a few pieces of the bologna that Kale had placed on the floor. She whipped the meaty circles at his head, hoping that she would hit the mark. Lily was just disgusting and figured why not make this worth the mess. She noticed that an elf with a mischievious streak happened to slip her a few bottles to use as ammo against her friend. She grabbed the closest one and squeezed, laughing as strawberry jelly went flying across the aisle to Kale. "HA! Take THAT!"
