The air seemed highly charged this evening, the Halloween feast would be in full swing by the time she got down. The black wings she had one of the families house elves make had been giving her some trouble. She had never told the elf to actually charm them but the foolish creature had, they looked incredible of course now that they were finally on but the 30 minutes it had taken her to fit into place had nearly been the death of her. She had removed the streaks of red and black dye from her hair and created loose curls about her neck with her long blonde tresses. She had also had a vintage pearl head chain owled in to give the finishing touches. It hung just across her forehead and made her look more regal than what she was already. A white flowing dress and an off white shade corset to cover the bodice seemed perfect. The black wings folded up behind her as she walked and only when she stood still for any length of time did they give a sharp flick before fanning out to their full length. She had to admit she looked great. Not sure whether or not Kaleb would be dressing up for the occasion Carmen made her way to the hall.

The tables were cleared of food now and students were beginning to mingle as music started blaring and games got underway. She smiled at one of the more infamous Slytherin ghosts as she passed Carmen by, admiring her costume of course. With her hands neatly clasped in front of her she moved slowly among the crowds. Smiling on occasion at those who had ventured out to the dance floor so early. It seemed like it would be an interesting night but the only person she really wanted to see was her boyfriend. Standing on her tip toes she attempted to scan the crowd for the most handsome boy at the school.

Kaleb made his way through the dungeons, ascending the stairs. He didn’t bother dressing up. Kaleb thought he was too cool to dress up for Halloween. He also thought that Carmen wasn’t. However, he could be more wrong. Kaleb always thought that Carmen was an angel that had fallen from Heaven, but never had he seen anything more literal. Stormy eyes locked upon her figure. Coming from behind, Kaleb moved his caramel hair out of his face and he smirked upon his girlfriend, “Hey there, angel. Looking for me?” Though as the night would progress, he would soon be teasing her about her attire. He folded his arms across his chest, a cocky smirk on his face. He honestly thought that he had the most gorgeous girl in the school.

She heard his voice and swung about with a bright smile on her face. He stood there with arms across his chest smiling down at her looking completely and utterly devastating. The small distance that stood between them was broken in seconds as she made her way too him, stood on her toes in her ballet slippers and kissed his cheek.
"You look..." Carmen was near breathless just looking at him, she may have been young and still very much innocent but the thoughts that raced through her mind at that moment on seeing him were anything but innocent. Her heart flipped uncontrollably as it always did when she was near him and she wondered not for the first time if that foolish organ of hers would ever get used to beating just for him.

"You look amazing, as always" she did a small twirl for his benefit, the corset cinched her slender waist making her slim figure seem more curvaceous than normal. The silken folds of the gown swished delicately about her as she smiled up at him, "You like?"
She teased him coming to stand before him once more. Barely standing a moment, the black feathered wings chose then to flick their warning signal before spreading out wide and causing a few students near by to jump out of the way. Carmen chuckled mildly, the wings had been a nuisance at first but perhaps they might just be some fun after all.

"Shame they weren't charmed to fly, I'd take us both right out of here" she told him turning to look at the students milling about them.

Kaleb smirked when she complimented him and he started, pulling out some lame acting, “My dear, did it hurt when you fell from Heaven?” Laughing, Kaleb unfolded his arms. He was truly the luckiest guy in the world. Now, if only he could influence her like he had upon others to hate. Thoughts of hate were absent from his mind however, as his stormy eyes tried not to focus on her curves and body. He murmured, “You have no idea how much I like this costume. Probably the best there is.” It had to be better than his cousin making a fool out of himself dressed in a freaking shell.

Kaleb was rather impressed with the wings, and he nodded in approval. He took a step toward her, and placed his hands on her waist. Kissing her forehead, he whispered, “You know it is the man’s job to take the woman away, not the other way around.” Kaleb gave her a devil’s grin, and he smirked, “There are other ways to fly besides upon angel wings.” Unlike his cousin Aleyha, he was far from innocent, having learned all about the adult topics from his older sister before she passed and his older brother.

She could not help but laugh when he asked her if she fell from heaven, that was the last place entirely that she felt she had fallen from. Of late Carmen had been feeling far from angelic, begrudging and nearly despising her parents with a passion she had never known existed. Except of course the deep seated passion she knew she felt whenever she was near her one and only love. There were still times she felt amazed that they simply knew they were meant to be, there was no doubt there at all. As if placing their hearts together on a slab it would be evident for all to see and hear that the rhythm was the same, their hearts belonged fervently to the other.

As she looked up at him, she thought she saw a change in his expression as he continued to view her in her mode of dress. A gasp caught in her throat as he moved closer to her, hands on her waist and kissing her forehead. She let out a soft sigh, wishing there was no one else about so that he would have kissed her properly then. His words caused a tingle to spread all over her as her own hands wound their way around his shoulders.
"We are equals Kaleb, there is no such thing between you and I as a man's job and a woman's job" she smiled her face tilting closer to his, her young body pressing closer to him. As young as she felt she was for love and yet infinitely believing that their true love was the most possible and real there was, she was not so sure then on other points. When was too young to explore one another? When was too young to crave his hands on her as she was craving now?
"Will you show me?" her hazel eyes looked into his and she smiled.
