It was one of those peculiar days where in Harold Garrison wanted a day off from work, something to keep him distracted for once. As it's been months since he left the Ministry for some alone time, although he wished to have someone to keep him company. Years of being alone and widowed made him focus on his work but not on his social life, he haven't dated anyone since Elaine's accident. Even though both of his parents keeps pushing him to meet some girls, muggle or witch. It does not matter as long as there is someone to take care of her, also he missed having females around him. Other than her co-workers who are all married or dating some wizard. Harold then left his apartment room and decided to head out for the day, not to work but somewhere crowded. He made his way out of the building and notice a couple of wizards strolling around New Zealand. Luckily, he wasn't needed for Quidditch practice today. Since there were newbies to train and he wasn't included of course.

Harold stood there wondering where to stroll, he could go inside a pub or something but the man wanted something else. Maybe visit a part or something, anything really as long as he is seen. Soon he settled to visit a park in the middle of the city, unaware of the name of the park. It was surrounded by small trees, bushes and blooming flowers. Some little children were also running and playing with their parents, how he wish for Connor to be alive. Maybe if he was, he'll be here with him playing in the unknown park. He missed his laugh and smile, for some reason he wanted to have son once more, not to mention her unborn child who died with Elaine. Up to know he blamed himself for the whole accident, although he knew that it wasn't really his fault. As the memories lingers on, he sat on an empty bench staring at some boy that looked like his son. Brown hair, and brown eyes, just like his mother. In an instant he shook his head and closed his eyes, trying to pull away his thought and start a new fresh memory.

Arabelle had found herself growing bored of Miami, something which wasn't uncommon for her. The young 20 something year old could never settle in one place for too long, something that very much displeased her parents but she was her own person and she couldn't stay in one place for too long and that's the way she would always be - or at least had been up to this point in her life. Quietly get out of the bed of the person who she had found herself getting know tonight, she grabbed her clothes and tipped toed into the bathroom. Quickly changing and making sure she looked presentable she pulled out the small map of the world that she kept in her handbag at all times to help her decide where she would go next. Opening out the map to it's full length she closed her eyes and waved her finger over the map before letting it drop. Opening her eyes she looked down at the next destination - New Zealand. She had been there a few times in the past but never really spent a great amount of time there. Folding over the map she put it back into her bag she closed her eyes once more and turning on her heal the next time she open her eyes she was in a completely different country.

The area of New Zealand she had found herself in was pretty, it was a small park with lots of kids running around, the sound of their laughter ringing in her ears. She always loved seeing little kids running around having fun, using their imagination to make games and whatnot, she was very much a big supporter of kids being able to do what they wanted and having fun, whereas when she was younger she was made to be a proper little lady and have edict lessons and learn other languages so she would be suitable for a man when she was to be married. Arabelle wanted to have none of it which lead to her rebellion a number of years ago when she became a legal adult and left her parents and start her own life. Walking through the park she noticed she hadn't done up her sandals in the rush to leave the random guys apartment. Stopping at a bench she put her feet up and fixing the clasp on them. Doing so she noticed the man sitting on the same bench. "Why so glum?" she asked, never being afraid of talking to strangers Arabelle also spoke her mind even if she didn't know the person - plus she never liked seeing anyone upset, life was too precious to be sad all the time.

For years Harold Garrison's life seems to be dull, overshadowed by his past life and the family he once had. Everything seems to depress him these past few days, though he never showed it to anyone. No one knew of his story, perhaps the muggle world but not here and to sum it all up being widowed isn't that fun at all. He doesn't even go on dates anymore, the last time he did, it was one with Estrella. Now, he seems to be losing faith in love. Back to the real world, Harold seems to be good at distracting himself lately. Work and Quidditch seems to be the best distraction, in fact he haven't thought of the accident last week which was a big thing for him. He didn't have his usual nightmare, and how he wish it would end. The children playing inside the park made his remember his son Connor, at the same time it made him wonder if he'll ever have a son or a daughter. For a guy who's still single at the age of twenty six, it isn't late to give up. Besides he never does give up on anything, his family like seeing him giving up too.

As he opened his eyes, Harold heard someone speak to him. A question from a lady, he looked at her wondering if he have met her before. No, he did not. There was nothing wrong with meeting new people, even stranger. So Harold gave it a shot and smiled back, trying to wipe his sad face away. "Just reminiscing." he answered. He wondered if the lady would like to join him, have a small chat or something. Standing up, he decided to introduce himself. "I'm Harold by the way, Harold Garrison." At the same time offering his hand at the stranger for her to shake. Blonde and gorgeous, he thought to himself. It was unlikely of him to meet blondes, Elaine herself is a brunette. From the looks of it, she's younger than Harold. These couple of days, it's like he's aging so fast that when he looks at the mirror he'd frown and just hope he'll live a long life.

As Arabelle made her way through the small park her eyes scanned the mass amount of little kids running around, screaming and all in all – having fun. Her mind wandered back to when she was a little kid, she would go to the park with her mother when her brothers wanted to go but instead of running around and being a kid like everyone else Arabelle had to sit on the bench with her mother and read a book or practice her speech; oh how she recented her mother for that. Arabelle blamed her mother for rebelling at such a young age and leaving home as soon as she became an adult and finished school – regardless of dismissing her mother for forcing her in school she did care about her education and wasn't going to put all of her hard work to waste. As she scanned the park she saw a young blonde haired girl, sitting on the bench beside her mother with a book in her hand – but with no clear enthusiasm being there, she reminded Arabelle of herself at that age. Oh how her blood began to boil when she thought that some other kid was been treated the same way as she was and no allowed to just be a kid. Not that Arabelle ever really wanted kids but if she did by some chance she would be sure to let them have a childhood when the grow up, get dirty; scrape their knees, all those things that is part of a childhood that she never had. With her usual 'get up a go attitude' Arabelle found herself walking over towards the wee child and her mother to criticise the woman for not letting her child play. Although, as soon as she got close enough to hear the mother and daughter talking, Arabelle was surprised to hear the mother ask if Chloe, the girl's name seemingly, would like to go play with the other kids and to Arabelle's surprise Chloe wanted to stay and read her book. Taken aback Arabelle slowly turned round and went back to her original route – out of the park. Arabelle had been known a child to not want to play, it was such a surprise to the 20 something year old that sometimes kids just wanted to read.

As she started to tie the strap on herself talking to a random guy on the bench, although this was nothing new to Arabelle. Once she had done up her strap she patted down her shorts to straighten them out again. Frowning her eyebrows slightly, “Well you look sad, so you must be reminising about something sad...which in my opinion is kind of silly.” she blurted out, not really thinking about what she was saying – not that she ever did for that matter. Seeing the man stand up in front of her and introduce himself which outstretching his hand Arabelle rolled her eyes slightly and smiled, “Nah, that's too formal for me. But I'm Arabelle. Nice to meet you Harold.” She said, hoping he didn't think that she was being rude or anything but Arabelle wasn't fond of formal introductions. Eyeing the man up a bit she saw that he was quite fit, looked like he could be a bit of fun and he did look like he needed cheering up a bit. She had no plans for today and usually didn't until she met a random person – like now – as it was usually unlikely that she met someone she knew, even though she knew a lot of people from all over the world.
