There was going to be a lot of fireworks this week considering who was coming over. Chaos Zhefarovich was rather excited to have Scarlet over, but not a smile crossed his face. That was because he would be having another visitor. Alana Finch. He wouldn't lie. That was going to be interesting to see Alana's expression when she sees him and Scarlet, but he didn't know for certain if she would even care. He just hoped that today was not the day that she would drop by. Chaos heard some tales that threw him into a rage when he was talking to Havoc, but that was about it. Havoc urged him to call things off with Scarlet, but Chaos refused. He really liked her. She accepted him with all his flaws. Someone like that, he couldn't just let go so easily. And she knew that he was engaged. Sure, it made things a little on the tense side, but it was not his fault. He was secretly wishing that Ivaylo would find a way to kill Alana and leave him the hell alone. He was blind to see what kind of pairing he and Alana would be, because they could tame each other.

His new house was big, and his bedroom was upstairs facing the back of the house which had a pool. Seeing as it was winter, they would not be using it right now. Right now, Chaos sat upstairs in his bedroom. Things were not coming around as he hoped that they would be. Havoc was in his bedroom, which was identical but backward in every way. Chaos was on his bed, and he buried his hands into his hair. This was too much for the teenager. 'This arranged marriage is starting to look more like a burden than a privilege!' thought Chaos as he shook his head. How much longer could he do this? His purple eyes closed, as he felt his anger build. He reached for an empty potion vial that rested on his bed and tossed it against the wall on the other side. The broken glass fell and scattered all over the floor. Chaos breathed out and heard his mother yelling at him to clean up what he broke. He did exactly that, just as he heard footsteps coming toward his bedroom. He was not coming out for any reason. He didn't want to leave his sanctuary.

Convincing her brothers to allow her to stay over with Chaos Zhefarovich had not gone over very well. Justin and Crische were both very angry that she had not told them who her new friend was specifically. And then of course, things went downhill really quickly when she had told them that the former Hufflepuff was now her boyfriend. She had gotten quite the scolding and verbal lashing from both her brothers after they had found out. She had not expected it of course and absolutely refused to talk to either of them until they accept her relationship with Chaos. They refused to allow her to stay over of course, but she was already sixteen and she needed to see her boyfriend. Too much had happened during the second semester and with her lack of friends, the obvious lack of support from her brother, and her not going so well academics (not that it ever went well), she really really wanted to see the former Hufflepuff. And that was what led her to the station, blinking at a man that was holding a sign that had her name written on it. She waved and smiled awkwardly at the man, whom she had come to know as Chaos' father, before they had gone to their home.

After exchanging pleasantries with his father as they entered the house, she was given a drink which she accepted with a smile along with a drink that she was to bring up to his son. Scarlet nodded though just as she was about to climb up the first step, the sound of breaking glass resounded that made her jump in surprise and his mom yelling to clean up whatever it was he broke. Scarlet gave off a sheepish smile and excused herself to go and check on him. Her steps were quick and careful as she held two cups of tea, one for her and one for Chaos, on the way to his room. Following the directions Mr. Zhefarovich had given her, she came upon his door though was met up with the dilemma that she couldn't knock or open the door with the drinks that she brought up. "Chaos? It's me. I brought you tea. Can you open up please?" the Hufflepuff called out from outside his room. Hopefully he would open up the door. She wasn't sure she could manage to open the door without any form of help.

Chaos finally managed to get the broken glass up off the floor, while nicking his middle finger in the process. Blood seeped from the little hole, and he popped his finger into his mouth while he dumped the glass onto the floor. His ears heard a voice that was not his mother or sister. Or even Alana. A breath of relief escaped from him as he approached the door, unlocked it and opened it. He saw the lovely Scarlet, standing before him. He didn't look as good as she did. He had on black sweats and a loose black shirt. She looked three times better than him at least. He popped the finger out of his mouth, and wiped it on the side of his shirt, before he opened the door wider to let Scarlet into his room. Once that was done, he used his leg to kick the door so that it would shut, but it didn't. It was left open with a crack. Chaos sighed as he said, "Um, I got a little mad and busted a vial. I'm fine. Don't even ask. Here." He took the drinks from Scarlet's hands before placing them on the end table next to his bed. He assumed that his dad rode here here on the motorcycle, but by judging her calm exterior, he did not fly that.

"Thanks for coming over. I'm sure your family didn't take the news well about me. Not that I blame them." He sat down on his bed, and patted the seat next to him, offering her a place to sit down. She soon joined him, and he looked at the redhead. It had been six months now, since they formed a relationship. He could say that he really cared for her. He shrugged his shoulders, "We have been dating for six months now. We haven't even f**king kissed... Well, properly anyway. I think that needs to change." Plus, there was that instant in Brightstone. He looked at her to see if there was any sort of dismay of doing that. He did not see any, so he cupped her cheek with his hand, leaning forward and pressed his lips against hers. Kissing girls came easy for him, plus the only one he had ever kissed was Scarlet. But it felt really good though. No wonder Havoc told him that was the highlight of his year. Except he kissed a second year at the time.

Scarlet waited outside of his door for a few more moments before she heard shuffling behind the door and something being dropped to the floor. Soon after that, the door was unlocked and the redhead came face to face with her boyfriend. She smiled at him softly and had to resist the emotions that were welling up inside her. There was too much. She had not seen him since the holidays and so much had happened since then. Only he knew a majority of it and even then he was involved in one of them. She had to reign herself in of course. Losing control of her emotions would not be good for either of them. She took note of what he was wearing and she seemed quite overdressed with her jeans and tank top, her sweater and jacket being left downstairs. He took the drinks from her and assured her that he was fine but still worried, it was normal for him to lose his temper every once in a while, but not knowing what made him lose it worried her a little. "You sure?" she asked softly as she approached his bed right behind him.

"It's okay," Scarlet sighed, remembering the interaction between her and her brothers but quickly stopped thinking about it in favor of Chaos' words. The Hufflepuff frowned as she sat beside him and looked at him seriously. "Stop that. They just don't know you the way I do. They'll understand," she said. It was enough that she would hear stuff about him in school, the whispers and how they would judge him for one act they knew of. She was sick of it. And now even her family was doing it. They'll accept him. They'll learn whether they wanted to or not. She giggled at his next words, though there was turmoil bubbling within her concerning what had happened last Brightstone. "You kissed me once though," she whispered just as he was leaning forward and closed her eyes as soon as his lips were upon hers. Kissing him felt nice. Warm. Safe. Not like the way he kissed her. The way he did hurt her. It made her feel like an object. Like a toy that he would only take when he wanted and then leave as soon as he was done with it. And the fact that he kissed her while she was in a relationship Chaos hurt her. Because she cared about Chaos a great deal and he needed to know that she was extremely sorry for what happened. Even if he would likely hate her for speaking of it again. All too soon for her liking, she pulled away and rested her forehead upon his, her eyes still closed not wanting to look at him. "I'm really sorry I let it happen. I know I slapped him afterwards, but still. I'm sorry. I'm sorry about everything that happened last semester," she said as she took a deep breath as she tried to reign in her emotions. He didn't need to see her break down right now.

When she asked if he was sure, Chaos nodded once. He was. Or else he would have told her otherwise. She said that her brothers did not know him the way she did, and with that, he was able to agree. Everyone knew him for the person that tried to kill Logan. To him, he was trying to do the right thing by what he believed in. And he would stand by that to the grave. "Not many know me like you do. Havoc does, but he is my twin. Although, must say, people being afraid of for what I did is rather fun. I cannot wait until I am seventeen where I can return to Brightstone." That was something he could not wait for. Sure, he could never go after Logan again, but that was about it. His purple eyes looked to the floorboard, before wondering if he should have taken his socks off before wandering the house. It was weird though. He just hated the feeling of cold floor against his skin. It was one of his weirder habits. He looked toward Scarlet, and though they kissed once, it still didn't change anything. They should have been kissing a lot by now. At least she was returning the action with enthusiasm.

She killed from the kiss, and said that she was sorry about what happened. Chaos snickered before he stroked her cheek with his thumb. He knew about it. He knew about everything because of his family members. He smirked, his eyes opening, "Don't worry about it. You slapped him. That said more than you ever will. Actions are better than words." Chaos knew that Jakobe probably had feelings for Scarlet, and there was nothing he could do about it now. She didn't like him. Not like she liked Chaos. And Chaos really cared about her well being. He threw a fit at the house when he knew she went into the Borely Mansion. She didn't know about it, but she could have died. And he would have been devastated had something happened to her. He murmured, "Shh, just don't talk right now." He leaned forward and captured her lips with his once more, before leaning back on the bed, with the kiss deepening. This was the first time he ever made out with someone, so it was only fitting that they do this in the comforts of his own home.

Alana was out of excuses. She'd postponed this visit for a week with one excuse after another, but with no other reason to not go other than that she didn't want to, Alana had been placed into the care of Benjamen Zhefarovich. The man was insanely tall, and Alana had to take three steps for every one of his. Luckily, they didn't need to travel far before apparating the rest of the way there. The man hadn't been made aware of Alana's apparating sickness apparently because he'd wanted to continue on right away. Alana leaned against a tree, sucking in deep breath after deep breath before she unwrapped a small candy and popped it into her mouth. Finally, she was well enough to continue on. She dragged behind the man, watching as her bag hovered in front of them both, entering the door that had suddenly opened. The home was massive, and Alana was hopeful that she might be able to avoid Chaos for the week that she would be forced to remain here.

Entering the home, Benjamen introduced Alana to Chaos' mother. The woman wasn't anything like she had expected, and as the teenager was directed to her room upstairs, she couldn't believe the woman had given birth to two monsters. Alana headed up the stairs slowly as she had been doing everything else today. She heard voices as she went down the hall and noticed that one of the doors was ajar. Curiosity got the best of her until she drew closer and recognized one of the voices. Chaos. The small smile that had been on her face slowly disappeared. The room she was being directed to was at the very end of the hall. "Of course" she said aloud, her eyes drifting to the strip of light that escaped onto the hallway floor. Chaos' back was to her, but he was clearly busy in his room with someone else. Alana had no idea that she'd have to deal with Scarlet too! "Uuuuuugggghhh" she let out a groan of frustration as she stomped the rest of the way down the hall, entered the room she thought was hers, and slammed the door shut behind her. "Seven frickin' days" she muttered through gritted teeth, her back against the door.

Scarlet couldn't help but shake her head at her boyfriend's personality. Of course he enjoyed knowing the fact that some people were scared of him and his family. It was not something she could completely sympathize with or understand but she supposed that that's just the way they were. His family was everywhere after all and it wasn't like he was the only one who people within the castle feared. Despite him being older when allowed to go to Brightstone, Scarlet couldn't help but worry for his safety then. It was still years away and perhaps her worry would be uncalled for by that time, but her experience in Borely Mansion was not something she would forget so easily. "Still be careful when you go back there," the Hufflepuff couldn't help but say it to him, a hint of worry in her eyes. There was no reason for her to be though. He had already told her that he wouldn't be going to Brightstone anytime soon, and he knew what was in the Borely Mansion so it was only logical for her not to worry. She decided to throw her worries out the window for now though. She did not come here to worry about him. She was here to spend time with him because this was the only time that they could.

Scarlet didn't know how to feel when Chaos told her not to worry about the kiss. How could she not? It was something that bothered her constantly because she worried of how he would have reacted to it. He could have been mad. He could have hated her. And those were things she did not want. But then he had told her to stop talking and she did and his lips were back on hers. She kissed him back and decided to follow his lead. She had kissed Chaos before. Twice actually, counting the one that had happened just a few moments ago. But this was different. It was much more heated and she struggled to keep up with him, her hands had placed themselves on his shoulders as he leaned on the bed. Her thoughts revolved around him for the moment and she didn't even care that she was currently on his bed, in his room and in his house. They were far off thoughts from her mind. Until she heard a voice that she knew all too well from school. And she was pretty sure he was much too familiar with as well. With much hesitation, she pulled away from the kiss they were sharing and pushed him a little off of her. "Chaos. Alana," she breathed out as she tried to catch her breath. Scarlet didn't want to end the kiss to be honest but ever since finding out about Chaos' engagement, she had tried to bang into her head the thought that he had never really been hers to begin with. Not the way that she was his since the moment they became sort-of-friends.

Chaos thought that this was perhaps very much perfect. The kiss was heated, and it was the first one either had experienced. It was good, and perhaps it could get better over time and practice. However, it seemed as though the fates were not going to be kind, since he heard someone sound frustrated, and then stomp off. He felt Scarlet push him off a little bit, but he helped as well. He turned his head over the door, and realized just who that was. Alana. He groaned before he rolled off his bed, and stood up straight. That was right. She was arriving today. He looked to Scarlet and muttered, "I forgot she was coming by today. As a way to 'get us acquainted'." He said the last part with a roll of his eyes, very much displeased. Could he get just one moment of peace with his bloody girlfriend before things went to hell? He ran his hand over his face before he held out his hand for Scarlet to take. They might as well figure out what they were going to do about this whole mess. Scarlet was staying for three days, and Alana was staying for a week. Anyone would be happy to have two girls over at the same time, but not Chaos. Not in this case. A part of him wishes he didn't have to marry Alana because of Scarlet, but another part wants to fulfill his destiny to the Zhefarovich family, but then have to lose Scarlet.

"Come on, we should try to make things easier on all of us." Chaos took her hand and led her outside of the room, down the hall before pointing out the room somewhat across from his would be Scarlet's room for the time she was here. All the way down the hall, before the turn to see the master bedroom and the bathroom was a bedroom with another across from it. He entered Alana's room, before stopping completely. The room was completely empty. His heart sank to his stomach before he looked at Scarlet. He could have sword that she came in this direction. That was where the footsteps stopped. However, the room was bare. Where in the hell did she go? "Um, if she isn't in here, oh sh*t." His eyes looked over to the other room, and he slapped his hand to his forehead. This was not going to end well.

There was only so much during the holidays that Havoc Zhefarovich could take. Luckily for him, and Chaos, their new bedrooms included bathrooms within the room itself. That was where Havoc was at, in the shower. The window was open to allow a breeze in, and suck the steam out. He figured that this week would be hell on earth for him. One, Scarlet was coming over for three long days, and two, Alana would be here today for her full week. Her bedroom was across the room from his. Havoc finished scrubbing his scalp before he rinsed off, and lathering up the rest of his form. Before long, he was rinsed, and turning the knob off. He wrapped a towel around himself, and dried himself off, before slipping on his boxers and a pair of black sweats, and socks because like Chaos, he hated feeling the cold, floors against his bare skin. He was about to step out when he heard someone enter his room. And slamming his door. His purple eyes looked over his shoulder, before realizing that he couldn't see from this angle. And his shirt was still in his closet, which wasn't exactly in arm's reach.

He stepped out of the bathroom and shut the glass door behind him. His purple eyes narrowed on the form that stood in his room. Her back was against the door, and he was standing there without his shirt on. His eyes narrowed on her, while he was drying his hair and hands. He tossed the towel into the hamper in the corner before he folded his arms across his chest. "What do you think you are doing in my room, Alana?" His eyebrow raised, before he went to his closet to find a white shirt he could slip on. He held one within his arms, once found, and sat down on his bed. Deciding that now would be a good time to attempt to be his civil personality, he uttered, "Your room is across the hall, and judging by the footsteps, it is crowded. Feel free to hide out in here. I don't care." Havoc slipped on his shirt, and awaited for her reply to him. Sure, he was not pleased that someone intruded on his room after his scrubbed clean, but he was not showing it. Unlike Chaos, Havoc had complete control over what he wanted to show people.

Alana heard noises coming from what she assumed was the bathroom, but she figured it was a house elf. Surely a house this large had to have one. The Slytherin knew that some of the more well off and older families owned them, and it was obvious to the teenager that Chaos' family was both. There was something off about the room though. As she looked around, Alana noticed that the room looked...lived in. It didn't look like a random guest room that had been thrown together haphazardly to accommodate a teenaged girl. She heard him before she saw him, but the sudden sound caused her to jump. Finally, her eyes found the source, by that door again. It was shut once more so she still didn't know what it looked like on the other side. Alana knew that some of the girls in her year would have killed to be her right now, standing in Havoc's room while he was shirtless. She wasn't one of them though. "Oh Merlin. I...I...I thought your mother said the one on the right. I'm sorry" she froze, hearing a small commotion, the same one that Havoc had just mentioned.

Alana really didn't want to have to deal with Scarlet and Chaos just yet, so she nodded her head. "Thanks" she muttered as she moved away from the door and settled into a chair, barely perching on it. She looked as if she was about to sprint out of the room at any second. "How long is she staying?" Alana asked aloud, her voice full of attitude, not bothering to use Scarlet's name. Havoc would know who she was talking about. The Slytherin wasn't happy to be here at all, but she was even more mad that Scarlet was here as well. Her parents had warned her that they would not tolerate her disrespecting Chaos' parents and that they expected her to get to know Chaos more during the week she would be in his home. She now knew that one thing would be easy to do. Chaos' mother was great, nicer than her own mother even. But, she wouldn't be speaking with Chaos if she could help it, not if he was going to flaunt his relationship in her face when she only received threats from his family about hers. The teenager was still nursing her broken heart, and knew that he had chosen to invite Scarlet on purpose, to taunt her.

Scarlet hadn't wanted to stop the activities going on between her and Chaos at the time. Granted it was a little bit heated and she wasn't exactly experienced, it had been enjoyable to say in the least. But Alana's presence within the residence wasn't something either her or Chaos could ignore, no matter how much she wanted to. As soon as he got off of her, the redhead licked and bit her lower lip as she awkwardly sat up and watched the frustration building up within her boyfriend. She wished she could take away some of that. Or ease his worry or something of the like. But she couldn't. Because half of her had been wondering if someone had legitimately set up the dates of her and Alana's stay to be the same. It was plain torture that's what it was. It served as a slap to the face to her with a great big neon sign asking why she was even there in the first place? Why was she putting up with this? She didn't say a word to Chaos' statement for Alana's reason of visit, instead, she focused on calming her heart, swallowing the lump that formed in her throat and soothing the pain that was in her chest that threatened to suffocate her. She hid all of it though, instead managing a small smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.

Scarlet had hoped that if he was to go to Alana, then he wouldn't bring her with him. She could be left alone in his room or her room. Just let her coop up in there while he and Alana get acquainted or plan their wedding or something. She didn't want to be part of it. But when he had took her hand, it had given her no choice but to follow him. And she did. Taking note and smiling a little that her room would be across from his, and then following him to what she assumed would be Alana's room. Scarlet was not looking forward to seeing the blonde at all. Truth be told, all she wanted to do now is locked herself up in a cabinet and have some gummy bears or cry. Both were comforting ideas but that was not to be as Chaos held her hand, which while was a comforting gesture, was hurtful as well and she couldn't even understand why. She watched him silently as he entered an empty bedroom and looked at her in confusion. She gave a shrug and merely squeezed his hand a little when realization dawned upon him. Well, if he was worried, then perhaps she better prepare for hell to break loose with a killing intent.

Chaos could not believe this. Why would they try to get Alana and him to get to know each other. He didn't want to be here. He didn't want her to be here. Maybe he should give her space, and enjoy the time he had with Scarlet while he could. He noticed that Scarlet did not seem to be as comforted when Alana made her appearance. He shoved his hand into his pocket, and looked toward the closed door of Havoc's room. Havoc would eat her alive if he wanted to. He was sure that Havoc was not happy about having someone over in their new home. Chaos bowed his head and shook it. This was just getting worse. Chaos finally broke the silence between them, saying, "She went into Havoc's room. Well, maybe she will be killed in there or something." Chaos released Scarlet's hand, and motioned for her to come with him, but he went across the hall and to Havoc's door. He leaned closed to the door, before he swore he heard civil talk. He could not make out the words, but soon enough, he found himself not caring. He shook his head, and turned his attention to his girlfriend. His priorities were suddenly very clear.

"Come on, Scarlet. We are wasting our time here. I think we have a bag or two of those gummy bears you like downstairs." Chaos took Scarlet's hand once more, and led her away from the bedrooms, and down the stairs. Walking and walking until he found the kitchen (which took him a few minutes to remember where it was). He released her hand while he searched cabinet after cabinet, before finding the huge bag of gummy bears. He found a large bowl and poured the entire amount within the bowl, and held it out for Scarlet. "I don't like these so, here." Within the same cabinet, he pulled out a small bag of zefir marshmallow la neige for him. It was good for him, because it was the only candy he actually liked. Chaos sat down at the bar in the middle of the kitchen, and placed his hand over his forehead. He was so stressed out, but he could not imagine what Scarlet is going through. She might have been his, but he would never truly be hers while he was entangled in this arranged marriage mess. "If I am frustrated and stressed about this mess, can't imagine what you feel, Scarlet."

Havoc remained on his bed, before folding his legs up so that he no longer touched the floor. He stared at Alana, his eyes cold as his normal attitude. She looked as though she might have been a little on the fearful side, which would have been correct. Havoc had plans up his sleeves, and he was going to act them out next year. It would take precious time, but he was going to work through it. He already had everyone he needed. Alana would have to stay out of the firing range. So to speak. Havoc placed his arms on his legs, as he continued to stare. "She might have gotten confused. This is a new house." Havoc knew that this would take some time to get used to, since he was just learning everything himself. However, he still didn't appreciate someone coming in on his personal space. However, he would rather deal with Alana than Scarlet right now. Alana would be family in the future, and he would be stuck with her. If he wanted to make Aethlinde part of the family, he would really have to work, and corrupt her to pass the trials. But for now, he didn't care. He was just a third year, going into fourth, after all.

"Three days I believe. Her guest room is across from Chaos'," the Gryffindor replied. Havoc laid down on his bed, but not breaking his stare from Alana, who looked like she was about to run at any moment. Her attitude could be better, but he was not about to judge. The Gryffindor listened before he heard very faint footsteps going down the stairs, before he looked up toward the ceiling for a moment. The silence was welcoming, but that was about it. Havoc finally said, "I don't know what is up with you two. Honestly, it is a little confusing. You both choose to avoid and frustrate each other, go as far as dating others, knowing it won't work. It brings unwanted stress. It is almost as if... you two would rather die than marry each other, without evening trying to get to know each other. I know why Chaos doesn't want to commit completely. I don't know you, though." Havoc paused for a moment before saying, "My musings over the ordeal. That's all." Havoc was observant, and he had theories on why Alana was resisting, but he knew why Chaos was. Chaos was his other half. He knew all that there was. Even dark secrets.

The way that Havoc was staring at her was giving Alana the creeps, but with the noise across the hall still going on, she was fine taking her chances in here. After a moment of meeting his gaze, the Slytherin looked away, trying to learn something about the Gryffindor by his room. It was hard to guess much from just looking around, but it beat looking into those purple eyes of his and the face that looked just like Chaos. Alana grimaced as she learned that she'd have to deal with Scarlet's presence for three whole days. Suddenly, this trip was even more depressing then it had been. Alana hoped that the home really was as large as it looked. Maybe then she'd be able to avoid the happy couple. Best case scenario, she could keep missing Chaos and just spend the whole seven days on her own. "Oh, how nice" she responded, her voice dripping with sarcasm, as she learned that Scarlet's room was across from Chaos' room. As silence filled the room, Alana noted that the voices were sounding further and further away. She was happy about that. It meant that she could leave Havoc's room in a moment or two.

Alana's gaze returned to Havoc as he spoke. The Gryffindor was trying to understand the whole situation. Alana felt like laughing at him, but she wasn't sure how he'd take it. She also didn't want to upset him so soon after he'd helped her by letting her wait things out in his room. Alana had no idea that Chaos was also having issues with the whole arranged marriage business. The few times they'd even come close to discussing it, Alana thought he had seemed more annoyed by her lack of effort in getting to know him than anything else. It was an interesting bit of information. After a moment, Alana shrugged. "Well, we've both agreed to not bother trying anymore, so maybe we would rather die than marry each other." She sighed, forcing herself to not react much. It was frustrating that their parents were still forcing this. "Anyway, he doesn't frustrate me. I'd have to care about him for him to frustrate me...and I don't so..." she responded matter-of-factly as she stood from the seat and moved towards the door. Turning the knob, the blonde tossed her hair over her shoulders. "Sorry for, uh, you know, barging in. I'm going to take a nap if anyone wants me, which I doubt" she added with an eye roll. Chaos seemed perfectly content with entertaining Scarlet, and she figured their mother would be entertaining his girlfriend, not a girl who didn't even want to be there. As she entered the room across the hall, her room, Alana stopped to look around. It was beautiful. Everything looked brand new and her bag had even been placed inside. Alana left her door open, not caring as she crawled into the bed and kicked her sneakers off for a nice, long nap.

As Scarlet stood behind Chaos outside of what was supposedly Alana's room, she couldn't help but be very uncomfortable about this whole situation. She hadn't even completely into terms of what had happened back in Hogwarts when the magazine had outed her boyfriend's engagement. It was a difficult situation and one that she had not wanted to get caught up in, but she was right in the middle of it. She was in a relationship with an engaged boy. And now, she would be staying in the same space with her boyfriend and his fiancee. It was anything but comfortable. She remained silent at his words though forced a small smile on her features before following him to the door to his twin's room. She merely watched him as she clasped her hands in front of her as she waited until he turned to look at her. Scarlet tried to give him a smile and a small shrug, letting him decide what he wanted to do. When he had taken her hand and suddenly pulled her to get some gummy bears, she squeezed his hand a little and followed him quietly.

The walk towards the kitchen had been entertaining, considering Chaos seemed to have forgotten for a moment just how to get to their destination. Thankfully, he remembered it pretty easily and he had begun his search for the gummy bears. Her jaw had promptly dropped at the amount that had been thrust towards her and she had broke into a grin before starting on the treat. She sat beside him and placed the bowl on the counter before looking at him quite worriedly. His words surprised her. And she managed a sad smile before taking the hand that was on his forehead, while her other hand placed itself on his cheek to make him look at her. "Chaos. Don't worry too much about me. It's a bit of a hard situation to be in, but I'll be fine," she said softly though she had difficulty believing in it. But she had to be fine. He's already stressed out enough as it is, he didn't need to know how difficult and painful this was for her. "It'll all work out in the end," she smiled as she looked into those purple eyes of his. And then there was the sudden urge to kiss him. She leaned towards him, her eyes fluttering close as their lips drew closer. But she stopped. Mere inches from him and she stopped. Thoughts had invaded her head and asked her, what was she doing? What had she almost done? Was it even right for her to kiss him when Alana was around? And it dawned on her hard that even if she was his girlfriend, she could never compare to Alana. Not even reach it if she tried. "I'm sorry," the redhead murmured as she began to pull away from the kiss she had nearly started.

Two days later
Let's just say that Chaos was not enjoying his time completely and fully. Today was when Scarlet was leaving and currently, he was in her room, helping her pack her things. Chaos left the door wide open, and was a little down that Scarlet did not bring her swimming suit because they could have gone swimming in their indoor pool. Regardless, he would have to think of something else. Maybe mail her next time. Chaos was just hoping that he could spend time with her without Alana lurking around, making his head spin and wishing that he had not bothered with Scarlet, because he knew that it would cause more pain and irritation than anything, but he did feel something for her. So, he was leaning on a false hope, and no longer thought that the arranged marriage was a marriage, but a curse instead. He could not really find himself feeling something for Alana except irritation for their arrangement, and he hated the fact that she was still here. Havoc had locked himself into his room for the past few days, which was probably good for everyone in the house. And then there was the added fact that Demonia was leaving Hogwarts too.

Sighing, he turned to look at Scarlet, "Well, the past three days have been interesting." Chaos remembered a lot of talking, but more kissing than anything else. That was fun. He really enjoyed that part. Kissing girls just appealed to him, and knew why Havoc liked it when he was kissing some Hufflepuff girl. He forgot her name but it started with an A. That was a little odd considering he may be marrying Alana. Wait, there's no may be to it. He was. He sighed before saying, "I suppose I will have to walk you to the door. Dad will be taking you home. Just don't let him speed on his motorbike." Chaos knew that Scarlet's words of being safe to his dad will fall on deaf ears, but it was worth a try. She was leaving, and he was walking out the bedroom to walk her to the front door.

As much as she hated to admit it, her stay with the Zhefarovich family hadn't been completely miserable. The house was in fact big enough for her to avoid Chaos and Scarlet, for the most part. The few run ins that they'd had were filled with her being snide before stalking off, but all in all, it hadn't been terrible. And Havoc had remained away. Every time she looked to his door, it was tightly shut and she hadn't seen him at all. She knew he was in there though because she heard noise coming from there sometimes. It didn't matter much to her. The most pleasant part of her stay had easily been Chaos' mother. She was friendly and easy to speak to in a way that her own mother had not. It had even been her suggestion that Alana take advantage of their indoor pool, so she had woken up late and quickly put her bathing suit on. It was a striped red and blue bikini. Quickly throwing a button down shirt over it, Alana headed out of the room, humming to herself.

Oh crap, she thought as she realized that the doors to both Scarlet and Chaos' rooms were wide open. Quickening her pace, Alana hoped to pass the door before Chaos could make it out. She heard his voice, growing louder and louder, as he made his way towards the door. Of course, she wasn't so lucky as to avoid him. Pausing as he took over the space that she'd hoped to occupy and not wanting to bang into him, he was much bigger than her and it would hurt, Alana found her hand going to her hip almost as if it had a mind of its own. "Are you sure you can't stay and make this miserable week even more terrible than it's already been? I'm sure you can find the time. It's not like you have anything important to do" she said loudly, looking around Chaos to the girl in the room. In truth, Alana was afraid that Scarlet was leaving. She didn't like the girl, but she was a distraction for Chaos which was great for her. With him gone, she feared that his parents would force Chaos to spend time with her. "Whatever. Bye Miss Gummy Bear" she stopped, smirking. " Which way is it to your pool?" she asked, red eyes trained on the staircase and not bothering to look at Chaos. She avoided looking at him when she could.

Scarlet had a lot of mixed feelings about her whole stay with Chaos. It had been a lot of fun, that much she would readily admit. Although, in all honesty, she had been feeling absolutely miserable during her stay as well. But that would be something that she would not tell anyone. After all, it would be severely rude of her to claim that even though it had nothing to do with her boyfriend's family. It had something more to do about her boyfriend's fiancee. Her boyfriend's fiancee. Even to her, it still sounded absolutely ridiculous. Her time in Hogwarts since the rumor magazine had outed his engagement had been less than pleasant. And yet, it had become much worse while she was under the same roof with Chaos and Alana. Sure, Chaos had spent most of the time with her and Alana had spent the days away from either of them, but when they did cross paths, Scarlet was met with the Slytherin's snides which she had completely no response to. After all, it seemed that it was she who was intruding between the two who were officially engaged. And so, whenever the former Hufflepuff was around, Scarlet had made it a point to try and enjoy her time with him as much as possible before she had to leave. She wouldn't be seeing him in school after all. While she was alone though, she would spend her time sitting on the bed, clutching her knees and letting her thoughts wander on the situation she had found herself in. What did his family think of her? What did her family think of her? Why was she still putting up with this? She knew the answer to the last question, but she was not about to admit it to anyone.

Putting in the last of her clothes into her luggage, she sneaked a glance at Chaos and smiled a little at his words. Interesting was a way to put it. Although she had to admit, with the number of kisses they shared the past few days, yeah, the past few days had been interesting. Even if she had second thoughts on half of those kisses thanks to the fact that Alana was in the same house. "Yeah, thanks for letting me stay with you again," she said before leaning in and giving him a kiss to the cheek to which she quickly pulled away from before walking towards the bedroom door, her luggage in tow. "You don't have to, just rest or something. And I won't," she said with a small grin before coming out into the hallway and finding herself face to face with Alana and her grin had disappeared. As words came pouring out of the girl's mouth, Scarlet couldn't help but find herself in discomfort. She didn't want the days to turn out horrible any more that she did after all. The Hufflepuff could only bite her lip before she could actually take in what the Slytherin was actually wearing! Was that a bikini?! In winter?! And she was planning to go swimming?! In winter?! "You'll catch a cold if you walk around like that. Especially if you go swimming," the words flew before Scarlet could even stop herself. But then again, why stop it? It was true after all. After all, who would be stupid enough to go swimming in winter?! Especially when the pool is practically frozen and the air was prickly! She had seen the pool a few times from Chaos' room and from downstairs! Alana was obviously going to catch a cold if she went for a swim. Surely she wouldn't be that stupid?!

Alana stared blankly at the Hufflepuff girl for a moment. It was true that she could stand to be wearing a few more items of clothing at the moment, but she had already expected to be in the pool, enjoying the warmth of the heated pool. It wasn’t like the house was freezing at all. She’d walked around comfortably in clothes that she would wear during the spring or summer for most of the weekend. She also didn't take kindly to being given advice by the slightly older girl. Finally, Alana rolled her eyes and looked to the slightly older girl. “You do know they have an indoor, heated pool don’t you? Or did his mother forget to mention that to you?” she stated, a slight smirk on her face. "And even if I wanted to use the outdoor one, you do know that we have this thing called 'magic' that we can use to make things how we want them to be." Alana took the towel that she had thrown over her shoulder and tucked it around her, covering her legs but leaving her bikini top still showing. “Now, which way, Chaos?” she stated, calling him by name for the first time since she’d arrived in his home. When she could, Alana avoided using his name at all, preferring the more

Chaos sighed before he realized that Alana was prancing around in her bathing suit, which he could admit that she looked good in, but he was not about to admit that. He looked to his dad that had everything ready to go, and he looked to Scarlet, before Alana explained everything and he just wanted to tell her to butt out, and leave him alone. But his dad was there. He could not. Chaos finally explained, "We have an indoor pool somewhere, but I didn't think it would be ready this soon. Otherwise, I would have told you about it." Chaos reached around and scratched the back of his neck, knowing that he was ignoring Alana for a moment. He gave a Scarlet a lingering, tender kiss before leaving her in the capable hands of Vladislav. It was obvious by his body language that he was not happy about being here with Alana for the next four days. This was going to be miserable. He knew that he would hate every moment of it, and then walked toward her, making sure that his purple eyes did not roam. He was getting really good at controlling what he looked at, thankfully.

The grumpy ex-Hufflepuff shoved his hands into his pockets, and said, "I don't really know, to be honest with you." He was not really here all the time, but then he heard a door slam shut, and some footsteps heading their way. He knew that this would have finally gotten him out of the bedroom. All it needed was some of the crowd to go away. Chaos looked down, feeling really awkward about this whole thing. He just kissed his girlfriend goodbye, and then he had to deal with his future wife. He was sure that she hated him, and he did not really know what he did to deserve all the hate. Sure, he set a kid on fire, but he meant nothing to Alana, as far as he knew.

Havoc finally emerged from his bedroom once he heard Scarlet leaving, and then walked toward the stairs, and saw none other than Alana and Chaos. They were downstairs. His mind already had a plan, and he could see them talking about the indoor pool. It was true. Chaos had no idea where it was at, but Havoc did. He held a key in his pocket, and approached the two of them. "I know where it is at. Come follow me." He walked over to the side of the stairs were a door rested. He opened it, and inside was dark. He held out an ever burning candle for Chaos to hold, but he more or less just shoved it into his twin's hand. Havoc explained, "It is just behind this, and down the stairs. It is dark down there so you need the candle, before you can turn on the lights." Havoc seemed really convincing, but this was not the staircase to get to the pool. That was down the hall and on the right, whereas this was on the left, and definitely not a path to th pool. Havoc waited for the two of them to head inside, before he would enact his plan.

As soon as Chaos' father came into view, Alana straightened up and smiled brightly. She wanted his parents to think well of her, and so far she thought that she had succeeded. Alana looked at Scarlet, a smirk on her face as she realized that she knew something the older girl didn't. Well, she figured there were a lot of other things, but she was glad to have this one thing over her and glad that she'd thought to bring her bathing suit. As the couple kissed, she averted her gaze, only looking back at Chaos when he moved closer and spoke. Gone was the smile on her face, leaving behind a look filled with disdain. "You don't know?" She didn't believe him, thinking that he was just saying he didn't know to annoy her. She jumped slightly as she heard the door slam behind her.

It was bad enough to deal with one of the twins, but dealing with both of them at the same time was unnerving. Alana had never dealt with them both together, and she suddenly wished that she had more clothes on. At least Havoc was trying to help her, she realized as he spoke. "At least one of you is helpful. Thank you, Havoc" she stressed the name of the much more helpful twin. He even was prepared as if he knew that she had been planning a trip to the pool. Perhaps he'd overheard her speaking to his mother the night before. She wasn't exactly thrilled that he'd given the candle to Chaos, which meant she'd have to stick with him for a few more moments before losing him for the rest of the day. "Lead the way" she replied wearily, following behind him as he entered the dark space. She'd never seen an indoor pool before, so she had no idea but it seemed like an odd location for a pool.

Chaos really did not know where the pool was. He spent a lot of time outside the house, and just now got everything unpacked. So, he really did not know where everything was. He had his eye on Havoc, and when the candle was thrusted into his hand, he looked down at it for a moment, before wondering what Havoc was up to. No, there was something going on and he did not like it. However, he would have to question it later, seeing as Alana really wanted to go swimming. Chaos did not even know why he was helping her because she had done nothing but be a thorn in his ankle since the arranged marriage, whereas he didn’t really do anything wrong but set a kid on fire. Chaos had a cause and he fought for it. He sighed as he entered the darkness, and stopped for a moment. Maybe he should not do this. He could only imagine what Alana would demand next. A throne? Grapes peeled? No wait, he was overthinking this. Alana was not even doing that. She just wanted to go swimming and needed someone to lead the way. That was all she wanted.

When the flame’s light danced off of a wall, that was when Chaos realized that this was not the way. This was a closet. Chaos figured out what Havoc was doing. But it was too late. Alana was right behind him, and then the door slammed shut. Chaos immediately shouted, "Havoc, you son of a b*tch!" Chaos immediately saw the flaw in that insult, but he heard the lock click, and knew that they were trapped. He hissed in dismay as he let the candle go, and it floated up in the air. It was like one of those from the school, but just one. Chaos folded his arms across his chest, and closed his eyes as he leaned against the wall and away from Alana. Being in closed spaces made him really nervous, and he didn't know what to expect from. What was Havoc's game? Maybe he would spill... Chaos hoped anyway.

As soon as both entered the empty closet, Havoc slammed the door shut with one motion of his hand, and with the other, locked it with the key. He shoved the key into his pocket, and heard Chaos shout from the other side. Havoc shook his head. Chaos should not have been out exploring the continent or whatever he was doing with that older boy. He should have been at home, learning all the tricks. He placed a hand on the door before he smirked, “You two play nice in there. Maybe this will get you two to get along for more than a few seconds.” Havoc rolled his purple eyes before he shoved his hands into his pockets, and walked away from the closet. He walked up the stairs, before smirking to himself. He was very proud of himself for doing this. And since the parents were not exactly home, this would mean that the two would have an hour or two to themselves, locked together, forced to face each other for the first time in ages. Havoc murmured, “Now, to plan for my next big event.” He entered his room and closed the door behind him.

As the door shut behind them, Alana didn't realize anything was wrong until she noticed in the candlelight that Chaos had turned back towards her. She heard him yell, and she was at the door, slapping it with her open palm. "Havoc. Havoc! No, do not walk away. Come back and open the damn door" she yelled even as she heard his footsteps fading away. She continued to bang on the door for another minute, but it was futile. All she was getting out of it was a red palm. Their father had just left to take Scarlet home and their mother had left even before that. They were stuck, trapped. "He locked us in. He locked us in" she whimpered aloud. The teenaged girl didn't like enclosed spaces. She never had, and although the closet was more than big enough for both of them, to her the walls were closing in on themselves. Alana slid along the wall until she was seated, her head in her hands as she tried to force her breathing to slow down, her eyes closed. She hadn't even thought to bring her wand with her. It was laying right on her bed beside her pillow. And here she was, seated in a closet with Chaos. After a few minutes, the Slytherin finally opened her red eyes and took in the space. It was hard to see with only the candle to light up the whole room. "Your brother is a jerk" she said aloud.
