The blonde Ravenclaw stood in front a portrait, but not just a portrait, it was the same portrait who saw how she beat up Asaiah Murphy. She thought that her next delivery was another Hufflepuff but end up another Slytherin. Teagan's beginning to think that she's cursed or something but instead of bossing the portrait to call upon Hayley Elridge, she smiled at the portrait and step aside to wait for the girl to pass by. If she has to ask Asaiah who was she, she'll do it for the name of delivering this rose.

Hayley stepped out of the common room on her way to class, and was about to hurry on down the corridor when she noticed a Ravenclaw girl standing by the portrait looking uncertain. Hayley tried to make sure she was early on her way anywhere in the castle to avoid being made late by the changing staircases; it didn't often actually work, but this time she actually had a few minutes to spare. As she glanced towards the stranger she noticed that she was holding a rose. She must be one of the delivery people. "Oh, hey, are you looking for someone?" Hayley had time, she may as well be helpful. It wasn't as though anyone else in Slytherin was likely to do so.

She waited until she was about to give up and asked the portrait to get the person of interest but then a soul came out of the dreadful common room. Imagining the inside of it was creepy enough that she shake her whole body to ease the creepiness. Teagan's smile was back on her lips again, hoping this Slytherin isn't what she think she is. "Actually, yes. I know this house ..." she gestured at the portrait entrance to the common room. "Don't talk to their own housemates but I was hoping you do and you know someone by the name ..." Teagan trailed off and looked at the letter's recipient. "Hayley Elridge? I would be so thankful if you do, honestly." In her head, she was crossing her fingers and she wouldn't have to walk around looking for the girl.

Hayley frowned with concern as she saw the girl actually shudder. Slytherin was unpleasant, but surely it wasn't that scary. Was it? Hayley tried to look as non-threatening as possible, not the easiest task with her default outwardly hostile attitude. She did sympathise with this Ravenclaw's position. It couldn't be easy going round delivering things to a bunch of strangers, especially if you had to venture down into the dungeons to do it. Hayley wouldn't sign up, ever. She actually laughed out loud when she heard what the girl had to say, though. "Well, I don't talk to my housemates much either, but you're in luck. I'm Hayley Elridge."

A relief covered her face when the person she's looking for is right in front of her. Teagan's smile grew and handed her the rose and the letter at once. "Well, thank god. I always have bad lucks." She would have thought that this Slytherin would be a snob but turns out she's totally fine. "Anyways, Ms. Elridge. I have a rose delivery for you and I would like to say that yellow suits you." Teagan complimented the girl. She was true to her words and it was the first time that she had complimented a Slytherin, too.
Hayley,

They should really have a rose for 'you're really annoying but somehow I still like you anyway.' Cause then I'd send you that one. You'll have to have this dumb friendship one instead, I guess. It was the lesser of all evils.

Rory

"Oh! Thank you," Hayley said, smiling at the girl. What a fortune coincidence, that she just happened to be the intended recipient. As Hayley read the note her smile widened into a grin. Rory's note was excellent, and perfectly in keeping with how she felt about the Gryffindor. Now she thought about it, Hayley's own note to Rory had been far too genuine. She should have been more snarky, always more snarky. Shame she'd been in such a hurry to get her roses ordered on time. Organisation had never been Hayley's strong suit. Speaking of which, she was going to be late. "This made my day," she told the messenger, "but I've got to go. Thanks!"
