Third Years Lesson Six

Mallory couldn’t believe that the year had flown by so quickly. She smiled warmly as her students came into the classroom, and once everyone was seated, Mallory stood. “Hello again, my darlings. This is our final lesson of the semester before the exams. Today I would just like you to review what we’ve learned, and come to me if you have any questions about anything. Before we begin, however,” she tucked her hair behind her ear. “I would like to tell you that it has been an absolute pleasure teaching all of you this year. I have seen such remarkable improvements in all of your work. You are all growing into remarkable young witches and wizards.” Mallory smiled and moved back to her desk. “Go on, my dears, I’m here if you need anything.” She rocked Peter gently in his baby swing, humming softly.

Morrie found these review lessons totally and utterly boring and a waste of time. Instead of reading, she spent most of the lesson casting looks of mild disgust at the baby in the room, no not Kyousuke, the actual baby. Why was it here instead of in childcare? Weird. Finally, at the end of a painfully long hour, Morrie packed up her belongings and left the classroom.

Apolline was trying her best with the end of semester madness. She was looking forward to the break that the winter would bring. School was busy and her exams kept her pretty busy. Apolline was getting herself together for the day ahead. She was grabbing her books and notes and homework, and then headed out to the class she had that day, ready to get started on it.

Apolline walked into the charms classroom and took her usual spot in the room. She was already opening her books and notes as the professor got started. She spoke a little before just letting them get to what they were to get to. Apolline then worked away, using the rest of the hour to work hard at her revision. She wanted to do well after all.

Kyousuke had enjoyed charms this year. He was, however, starting to feel the pressure from taking all subjects and was thankful to utilise the lesson for studying. He went over the different spells, practicing a couple of them where appropriate, but making sure his knowledge of theory was strong as well. The lesson breezed by for Kyousuke, who was surprised when the hour had passed. He packed up his things and went on his way to do more study.

Ever wanted to set everything on fire, but she contained herself. It was enough to know that she could. It was a power that Ever hadn't felt for awhile. Maybe charms class wasn't completely useless after all. She doubted today would be much though. It was the last class. The Slytherin girl entered the Charms classroom and took her seat in the front row.

She waited impatiently for the professor to begin. A waste of time since they were just revising today and could leave. Ever did not intend to stay. She swung her bag over her shoulder and left the Charms classroom. At least she didn't have to spend any more time with her classmates, at least not right now.

It was finally the last week of classes and Violet was very excited. She hoped that the last week would be full of the professors running out of things to teach them and simply just letting them go over old material. She packed her belongings into her backpack and headed to her next class. As she entered the charms classroom, she smirked as the professor was simply giving them time to study and go over the new spells they had learnt that semester. Violet had a go at the wand writing charm again, figuring this one was the hardest, and managed to get it right in no time. She was very confident that she would pass the exams as she headed out of the classroom at the end of the lesson.
