Eli grinned at the boy, they'd only just met but that was okay, he seemed nice and it was good to get to know the people he should be studying with. "That's nice of you to say, I really hope that's true," he said, nodding as she looked down at the books he'd been intending to study, he should probably get back to that. He picked up one of the books and opened it, scanning over the contents. "It was nice talking to you, but I want to get into this before classes start, you're welcome to join me?" they could study together, but he was getting distracted with the talking.

Daiki gave a little warm smile and nodded. He was glad to be able to provide some level of reassurance to him about it. He felt confident bout the assurance too, this boy just seemed like the sort of person who was determined enough to achieve something. "Of course," he agreed, joining him. "We can work in silence," he said and then he opened his books and began working away.
