Tonight was none other than the Yuletide Dance. The Yuleball dance was taken place over in Beauxbatons but that did not stop the other professors and him from leaving Hogwarts New Zealand with no celebration after the dreadful exams. The Hall was beautifully decorated with blue and white, and the enchanted ceiling started to rain glistening snowflakes all around. The candles were white and a pale blue and lit up the Hall with a rather delightful atmosphere and feel.
This may not be what Roman Ivo was used to, but it would do just fine for the students. The tables were clothed in a pale blue silk, with glorious and scrumptious food upon them. The tables lined the outside walls of the halls to allow students to dance in the middle of the hall. Soft music was playing with a band upon a platform in a corner. Roman Ivo sat behind the staff table, also draped in a pale blue cloth, and he saw that the students started to arrive, all looking elegant and eager to dance as well as enjoy the evening.
Roman stood up, and he walked around the table and stood behind the podium. He began with a formal introduction, Greetings all! Welcome to the Yuletide Dance! I want you all to enjoy your evening before leaving for the holidays. Enjoy your break and have a Happy Christmas! Roman concluded, Let the festivities begin! Roman crossed over to where he was at before, and he sat down. His scarred hands rested upon the table, as he watched the students begin their activities.
