Hiding in the Durmstrang library, head buried in an old leather bound book, Rafael was dead to the world. When he read, his mind would drift to another world of dreaminess and unreality. He'd be in the book, helping the characters along and seeing exactly what they saw. It was only when he read the last word, that his mind snapped out of his daydream and he looked up slowly. How much time had passed? It had seemed only a minute, and yet hours had gone by. He'd have to be getting back to his dorm soon. Standing up, Rafael slid the old dusty book back into the designated spot in the shelf, wondering if he should take one back to read in the night. It of course annoyed his friends when he had a torch on at night, but that couldn't be helped. He loved reading enough to take the abuse. Nobody could tell him off anyway, they didn't dare. Much as a softie he was, he could get angry if he needed to.

With a friendly smile shot at the librarian, Rafael chose not to take a book back tonight. Instead, with a swift movement, he made his way to the door and pulled it open forcefully, only to find a girl had been on the other side. Holding back his gasp, Rafael went into apology mode, trying to make sure she was alright and make up for the accident. 'Sorry', He gabbled, then realizing that it was a little odd for her to be coming to the library at this time of night. She should be getting back to her own dorm. 'You alright?', he asked, opening the door widely and standing behind it so that she could come in.

Connor sighed as looked down at the book in her hands. It was the wrong one for the assignment, she rolled her eyes at the stupidity of the newest Librarian and got out of her bed which she had been comfortably relaxing in for the past hour working on her school work. Slipping her feet into her slippers Connor moved out of her room with her book, not bothering to change back into normal clothing, instead she walked down to the library in her pjs, a simple blue shirt and black tights, at least she was told the shirt was blue Connor could never really be to sure. Alot of people would think her outfit strange to sleep in as it seemed to be the way most girls walked around between classes at the school, but she found the outfit to be more of a sleeping outfit. Though it didn't mean she would be uncomfortable as she walked down to the Library, she was actually more comfortable in these then most of the clothes she owned. Here sister was the one for strange outifts that were more uncomfortable then they looked.

As she got to the door it suddenly opened and she had to step back from getting run over by the person coming out. Dropping the book she had to lean over and pick it up as the person began to talk with her. Standing back up straight Connor smiled at the guy. "Yeah, the new librarian gave me the wrong book for an assignment earlier and I have come to get the right one," she said as she walked into the Library.

'Oh, ok', Rafael replied, chuckling at the Librarian's mistake. 'Can I help you look for it?' He asked with a goofy grin across his face. He rarely hung around girls, let alone girls in blue shirts and tights. However, he thought what she wore suited her, even though it was only her pyjamas. At least he hoped it was. Rafael shuffled along beside her as she walked into the library, suddenly changing his mind about going to his dorm just yet. He didn't even care if he was told off. The librarian gave him a slightly amused look as he trailed after a girl. Rafael simply grinned back, not caring about what they thought at all. 'What kind of book are you looking for?' He asked the girl, assuming she'd say yes to his previous question, barely giving her a chance to reply. Well, he wasn't going to give her the chance to say no, was he? As Rafael approached the books, he scanned them up and down for the second time that night. He wondered just how many books were actually in this library. Thousands, perhaps? And that didn't even include the restricted section. He'd never been there, but had told himself he would before he left school. Just for the thrill of it.

Connor smiled as he followed her back in the Library asking if he could help and then proceding to ask what she wanted to find without pausing to give her a chance to accept her help. Of course she was going too being the case that most titles on books she couldn't read because the colors of the books and the title colors blended together in colors she could not read. Standing back as she watched him already scanning the books she looked around to see who else was the in Library as she began to speak. "It's called The Dark Forces, a professor at Hogwarts New Zealand wrote it," she told him as she stepped back to give him room her eyes scanning for things she could read. Those were usually the books she would pull off the shelf to read for fun. There were so many books she could read, but she was always to lazy to go and take them down to open the book for the title so judging the books on the covers she couddn't read she never bothered to read them if that was the case. Her eyes scanned and a few things looked like she might be able to tell what it said if the book itself ws closer but that would be a big maybe. With her eye condition she really couldn't tell much about the boy except he had darker hair as it didn't appear to be the lighter color of red people with normal people would call pink, of course what she saw as pink would actually be colors in the yellow area of the color spectrum.
