The decorations were exactly as Odette had expected, and she was happy to sneer at them all. Though she had to admit to herself that she quite liked the canopy overhead with the changing flowers, it made the hall seem different than usual and made everything feel more romantic. Not that she would say that out loud. "I'm always right, and the headmistresses taste seems to lean to both those things if we judge the decorations for the previous parties since she took over." She said with a snort, though she glanced around to make sure no professor was nearby to hear her say that. She was surprised when Hayden dragged her to the dance floor, and only accepted it because dancing had been her idea first. Still, she pointedly took her hand from his and rested it on his arm instead one they were on the dance floor. She did smile at him, though, not really that annoyed. "So, here we are again." She said with a smile. "How many dances is this? Four?" She liked that he always wanted to go with her, though she did worry a little bit he would grow tired of her soon. But she shouldn't think that way, and she tried her best to push the thought out of her mind. "Not many girls in my year have a boyfriend, let alone someone older and handsome like you." She noted, glancing at the surrounding people. "Do you see any of your friends at the dance?" She actually had no idea about Hayden's friends, aside from Evangeline, perhaps. Odette wondered if any girl in his year liked him, and she thought they probably did. That made it even more special that he had picked her instead.
