New Zealand was different to France that was for sure. You would think that Aveline Marchand was used to living in New Zealand by now but it still took her a long time to adjust to life on the other side of the world. This was only made easier by the fact that she knew she wasn't the only one finding the transition difficult still. Her two sisters, Amelie and Arielle also found the move hard but they each dealt with it in their own way. Aveline was always making sure her sisters were okay; being the oldest triplet meant that she felt an enormous sense of responsibility for her sisters even though they were more than capable of looking after themselves, which they liked to remind her of frequently.
Deciding to make the most of the evening sun, Aveline walked out into the Courtyard and took a seat on one of the free benches. Classes were not starting for another few days so she took the time to write out a letter for her parents back home. She knew her mother and father would be eager to hear how they had been getting on so far and this would probably be one of the only chances for her to compose one. However, she felt something burning in her pocket which stopped her from finishing the letter and she tossed it aside as she reached into her pocket and took out her rememberall that was glowing bright red. Aveline held it in front of her and frowned, there was no way she had forgotten anything; she had triple checked everything that they had packed before they left, didn't she?
