New Zealand was different to France that was for sure. You would think that Aveline Marchand was used to living in New Zealand by now but it still took her a long time to adjust to life on the other side of the world. This was only made easier by the fact that she knew she wasn't the only one finding the transition difficult still. Her two sisters, Amelie and Arielle also found the move hard but they each dealt with it in their own way. Aveline was always making sure her sisters were okay; being the oldest triplet meant that she felt an enormous sense of responsibility for her sisters even though they were more than capable of looking after themselves, which they liked to remind her of frequently.

Deciding to make the most of the evening sun, Aveline walked out into the Courtyard and took a seat on one of the free benches. Classes were not starting for another few days so she took the time to write out a letter for her parents back home. She knew her mother and father would be eager to hear how they had been getting on so far and this would probably be one of the only chances for her to compose one. However, she felt something burning in her pocket which stopped her from finishing the letter and she tossed it aside as she reached into her pocket and took out her rememberall that was glowing bright red. Aveline held it in front of her and frowned, there was no way she had forgotten anything; she had triple checked everything that they had packed before they left, didn't she?

Arielle was reflecting on how her first year in New Zealand had gone. She hadn’t done spectacularly well in classes, particularly in the second semester, but she kind of blamed it on the fact that she was still learning how to speak English properly, and the accents she heard here were very different to her own and to the one she was accustomed to. Arielle liked being at Hogwarts, but it was a transition she still had to get used to. Everything was happening fast, and the girl was already beginning her second year at the magical school. She was really relieved not having to live this by herself, as she had her two sisters by her side which made it all the better. She wouldn’t feel as overwhelmed. She had made a friend or two, though she hadn’t spoken to them in a while. She hoped she would spend more time with them instead of trying to learn too much English at once. That would come with time and it required patience. Something Arielle did not always have.

The Gryffindor had almost forgotten about the opposite weather, so when she thought September she thought of autumn in France, but actually, it was spring. Boy was she glad to have picked the right clothes to wear today. It wasn’t cold, not really; but it wasn’t hot, either. Arielle loved to be outside, it was one of the many things that no one could take away from her. She preferred sun to rain, though she didn’t mind rain at all, especially when it was needed. The courtyard was hardly crowded. The now second year was exploring the area, her eyes wandering around. Her eyes spotted an all-too familiar figure bent down, busy scratching at the parchment. Arielle's face split into a smile and she decided to go bother her twin. Well. One of them. She hadn’t seen Amelie yet today. "Hey Ave. What you doing?" she asked in French, naturally slipping into her mother tongue whenever she was around her family.

Sage was in a good mood as she returned to school for a new semester, she had finally reconnected with her sister Victoria who she had barely seen since the older girl dropped out of school to become a professional Quidditch player. Seeing her again had felt great and it felt like she had both her sisters again. Now back at school the Hufflepuff was eager to have a good year and that involved getting better grades and being more involved with the wild patch club. Sage decided she would take a stroll in the grounds to take advantage of the calm before the beginning of the semester.

After spending much of the morning in the Hogwarts garden refamiliarising herself with a place she hadn't seen much of in the final month or so of her first year. The new second year began her journey back to the castle via the courtyard. As she passed through the courtyard she noticed two girls that she had seen around in classes but hadn't spoken to much. Sage hadn't been very social in her first year and that was another thing she wanted to change in the new year. "Hi," She said to the two girls who looked like they were sisters. "Do you mind if I join you?"

Amelie was glad she was back at Hogwarts. She liked being in France, but Hogwarts was just such a interesting place she wanted to continue with finding answers to mysteries. The brunette made made some friends, but she figured she didn't knew that much people yet. She was not doing good in classes, because she was too busy with exploring the castle. She sometimes even missed running into her two sisters, for being too distracted with what she wanted to know. Amelie was a curious person and that curiosity was something that led her. She had always been the most distracted one from the triplets. When she wanted to know something that was what mattered and she could forget things around her. When the brunette decided she could take a walk through the castle on her way outside she arrived at the courtyard. A place where she had been already enjoyed to meet people. Amelie could be easily distracted with things and her own interest, but she still liked meeting people and get to know them better. The brunette walked a bit further and than saw some familliar faces. She walked over to them and noticed her two sisters. Amelie was the youngest triplet, and was kind of different than her two siblings. They were more alike, and that was the reason why they had more fights together. Amelie mostly was the person to come between. But she and her sisters had a great relationship, and she loved them very much. Amelie was glad to run into them. She noticed also another girl, that she didn't knew yet.
'' Hi!! Who is this?'' the brunette asked curious to her sisters and looked with a smile to the blonde girl.
