The Task's Conclusion

Amable rose to his feet after all three Champions had completed the maze in the cavern. It had been unfortunate that the boy had had to send up sparks, but the tasks were more difficult than many could ever imagine and Amable knew he must have tried his best. "The judges will announce updated standings at the beginning of the next task. Please take the nearest portkey back to Beauxbatons!" With that, Amable sat back down and started to chat with his fellow judges.

 

[Sophie Chevaliar]

Sophie was the first one who had stood up and quickly gone down the steps leading to the portkey at the bottom, and she hastily weaved her way through the crowd, and placed her index finger lightly on the portkey, her eyes darting around glancing as the others moved. She hoped beyond hope that Aubrey had won, but she knew that the Durmstrang girl Moko was a fierce competitor. It was a shame Mike had to shoot up red sparks though.

 

[Trilby Kiedis]

Trilby stood as the task finally came to it's conclusion with the Hogwarts Champion shooting up red sparks again. The only boy in the entire tournament and this was his second task requiring assistance. Soon the judges would announce who the victor was but at least they all knew it certainly was not the boy. Clapping her hands she bid everyone to make their way quietly and orderly down the steps from the stands and to make their way with little fuss to the portkey nearest them.

With a last glance back at Sebastian she made her own way down the steps and headed to the nearest portkey to take her back to the school.
