The start of something new

[Paul Rider]

"I suppose." He shrugged. "But I'm not sure if she's ready. I don't want to push her when she doesn't want to do anything." Paul had never been very good with girls and being with Lindsay just made him scared and think he was about to do the wrong thing and ruin it.

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley shrugged. " Mate you dont need to ask her permission ok you just try and do it and then she should follow suit, i mean how long have you been withher? I was with Ana for like and hour or so before we did that. I think it just shows the affection between teo people that are in love." He smiled

 

[Paul Rider]

"I suppose. It's been about six months now." He smiled when he thought back to when he had first met Lindsay on the lighthouse in the middle of the sea. "I'll have to take her some place though. I'm not exactly going to do it in the middle of Brightstone." He laughed.

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley laughed with Paul. " Well i always find the bed the best place to do it but what ever you like." He chuckled before finishing his coffee.

 

[Paul Rider]

Paul laughed again. "I definitely want to do it in a bed. More comfort." He smiled. "You and Ana must have been at it a lot as she's already been pregnant??"

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley laughed then shrugged. " Well you no im just fertile. I could start my own little island." He laughed again. " Well actually we only did it twice then she got pregnant and then we stopped for a while." He shrugged at least he had done it which was more than what paul had done

 

[Paul Rider]

Paul smiled. "I bet you loved that. Dervish didn't take it too well but Sam was being her normal motherly self. How did your parents take it when you told them??"

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley shrugged. " Well my dad tried to beat me up nut he is a fail and i won. He can be such a grape sometimes." He laughed. " Not that i care too much." Riley stretched when he had finished talking

 

[Paul Rider]

Paul shrugged. "I see what you mean by he's like my uncle. They both went nuts for no reason at all." Paul couldn't believe why adults were so weird about people getting pregnant at seventeen. They're not under age by then so they're allowed to do it.

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley shrugged. " It may just come with old age or something." He laughed. Of course Riley had a very short temper and people have gotten hurt by just looking at him in a way that displeased him but he was nothing compared to his father

 

[Paul Rider]

"Perhaps but that doesn't make me understand it any more." He shrugged. "I suppose the only way I'll know is when I'm that old and I'm the one moaning."

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley smiled. " Perhaps that's the case then. So when do you next see your mrs?" Riley couldnt think of anything else to say now so was just saying what came into his head first

 

[Paul Rider]

"I don't know." Paul shrugged. "I need to find out when they're breaking up from school so I can arrange a date to see her really.

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley nodded. " That would be the logical thing to do." He ordered a plate of chips then began o eat them when they arrived. He offered some to Paul

 

[Paul Rider]

"Thanks." Paul took a few chips. "It takes time though because it takes a day or two for her to get the letter and then another day or two for her's to arrive. It's a slow process and when I'm trying to keep her low profile it can be annoying.

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley smiled. he knew what it was like to have to keep a girl as a low profile and he knew it could be hard and it could also be annoying when they didn't co-operate. " Mate i no just how you feel. It is so very vexing."

 

[Paul Rider]

"Am I meant to know what vexing means??" Paul laughed. He had never been amazingly intelligent. Jasper had the brains in the Rider family. Paul was just the strong beater on the quidditch team.

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley raised an eye brow. " It mean annoy." He laughed at Paul's obvious dimness. Trust Riley to makes friends with a dufus.

 

[Paul Rider]

"Oh right. Cool." Paul smiled. "My brothers more of a brain than I am. I'm the beater who's been hit with so many bludgers that I no longer seem to have a brain." He laughed slightly at his own joke.

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley nodded. " I see. So i guess that that's your favourite sport then." Riley was trying to make some more conversation up to keep things interesting

 

[Paul Rider]

"Yeah. I was captain of the team." He smiled. "I loved quidditch but then I had to leave the school so now I'm stuck at home with out a job." He shrugged. "I spent too much time practising and not enough studying."

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley shrugged. " Well if your that good then you should try for a team or something." Riley wasn't a sporty person so wasn't very good at the advice on the matter.

 

[Paul Rider]

"I can't." Paul shook his head. "Not at the moment anyway. My uncle has made my little brother ill so I have to stay and look after him. I don't want to leave my aunt to do everything especially when she's pregnant."

 

[Riley Smith]

Riley nodded. Another sense of anger pulsed through his body as he knew who Paul was talking about. He shook it off again bottling it up. He wouldn't be able to do it for much longer. " Well that's the best thing to do. Always stick by family." Riley smiled, he didn't really believe that his family have lied and cheated him all his life and Alexia was the only one that he trusted. And Mark of course

 

[Paul Rider]

Paul smiled. "That's it really. My sister's moved out and gone to live with her husband so I've ended up watching Jasper. It's very difficult when he practically asks for a beating by getting his girlfriend pregnant and then leaving her."
