Closed The Start of Something New

Jordie was a little nervous. He had been surprised when Nate had agreed to come to the party with him. Jordie was also very excited, and had quickly thrown on his costume and run down to the party. He bounced inside, looking around and smiling as he spotted his date. He ran over, jumping in front of Nathaniel with his arms up. "Boo!" He yelled, before laughing and relaxing. "Hi, cutie," Jordie lifted up his mask and winked.

Nate was back at school only for like two or three months and everything seemed to go according to the plan. He liked Jordie and it seemed that Jordie liked him too, why would they be there otherwise? However, he was already in the hall, waiting for Jordie to come, and Nate wasn't sure if he actually looked for... What they had there. Date? Friendly hangout? No idea. And he was lost in his thoughts when Jordie scared him, he immediately got ready to hit someone and then understood that it was just Jordie and calmed down. One year of active trainings every day showed the results. "Not sure if I am looking like a cutie right now, but you look way better than that mask," Nate chuckled and put his arm around Jordie. "Let's go and let anyone else wait for their partners at the entrance," he easily offered and then messed with his hair a bit.

Jordie blushed, glad that his mask was hiding it. He wanted to ask the other boy what he meant about partners, but thought maybe this wasn't the place for it. "Where are we going?" He asked instead, shifting to walk closer tucked into Nate's side. He was endearingly taller, and Jordie liked the feeling of being tucked into his side. Maybe this was what Onyx meant when he fawned about having a taller partner. He smiled, sticking his hands in his pocket. Whatever this was, it was nice.

Nate couldn't help but smirk playfully when Jordie tucked into his side. At this point he was happy that he decided to not go with some more common smell to vampires but decided to go just with a good scent. Now it was paying back. "Probably just forward, I have no other idea. You tell me, you have been at school for this year, you know more about all the events." Nate easily threw the responsibilty on Jordie as he actually didn't know anything. He didn't even go to the Halloween feast in his first year and second year too.

Jordie considered the question seriously. "Snacks first," he announced, before bouncing forward. He tried to pull Nate after him by his hand, smiling as he skipped up to the snacks table. He reached up and pulled off his mask, shaking out his hair. He wasn't sure if he was flushed because he was with Nate or from the heat of the mask, but if anyone asked he would say it had been the latter. He ruffled his hair, looking over the spread. "I know most people hit the table last, but you want to get in early and get the good stuff before its gone," He smiled, picking up a bite sized cupcake with green icing and bat shaped sprinkles, and offering it out to Nate. "Want one?"
