The first Quidditch game of the season was met with a great deal of excitement by the Gryffindor Head of House. She was late in getting to the pitch for the game, but she wasn't too worried. It had been years since anyone had taken what she considered her spot - a corner in one of the very back rows, which offered a great view of most of the pitch. With a cheer as the referee through the quaffle in the air, the referee quickly made her way to the spot and remained standing to watch her house, hopefully, get its first victory of the season. "Goooooo Gryffindor" she yelled.

Abby had initially been rather annoyed that Emily had joined the Quidditch team without asking her first. She had been fine with the twins flying around the backyard and tossing a ball between them, but this was different. There was actually a chance of injury and so even though she was still upset with Emily, she was going to support her daughter. Making he way to the stands, Abby spotted Cyndi and waved as she made her way over. She was a little late, but the game had just started. However it seemed that Gryffindor had scored the first goal of the game. Abby nodded and could almost make out Emily, mostly from her long hair and the fact she knew what position her daughter played. She sat next to Cyndi and focused on the game. "Come on, Emily, Baby, you can do it!" She hoped Emily could hear her over the crowd. Either way, she was expecting her daughter to try her best. If she wanted to be on the team, she had better do well.

Nicodemus had never actually watched a Quidditch game in his life, and so he wished to watch his team play closely. It looked like something he would have a lot of fun with in the future, and he wanted to see how his cousin, Emily, would do. She was a first year like him, he hoped she wouldn't be too nervous or anything. However, he did feel a little bit like a traitor when he called her name in support, but his heart did also lie with his house. He supported Emily, but not Hufflepuff as a whole.

His eyes widened as the snitch was captured, and his grin grew wide. "Go Gryffindor!" He cheered, jumping on the spot with his arms in the air as the snitch was caught and Gryffindor pronounced the winner. What a cool sport!
