Ben arrived at the entrance of the Great Hall a bit early to be sure not to miss Kaia,one of his new friend he got to know along this semester .He was always quite nervous when it came to big gatherings with lots of people but as long as he had someone he knew in sight he was fine. To distract himself from the feeling of stress which was beginning to invade him, he distracted himself by making levitate the confetti that someone had thrown at the entrance of the room. @Kaia Stark

Kaia loved all the balls and especially she loved Christmas, because who doesn't love Christmas? And Christmas with balls were even better, cause it gave her so much royalty vibes and everything was just awh. And since she really loved dressing up, she was late a little bit. Yeah, she would be late anyways, getting somewhere on time? Yeah, it wasn't for her. "Ben! Ben!" Kaia wheezed as she got closer to him and didn't notice that he was levitating confetti. Who cared about confetti if she had perfect news? No way that confetti was more interesting than she was. "My mom.. she sent you a gift!" She let out a sight as she was running from her dorm, again... What a good thing to be a Hufflepuff! "Remind me to give it to you after ball! Oh, oh.. and.. wait," she still breathed a little bit harder and she was holding her hand on her waist and trying to keep balance. "She says that you are obligated to visit us on the break, if you are not staying at Hogwarts." Jenna Stark totally loved guests and Kaia was little copy of her, who loved guests even more. Especially if they are her friends.

When Ben heard his first name being called, a small smile formed on his face. When he looked away from the confetti they all fell gently on the marble hallway floor. Kaia was walking toward in looking energic as always"Hi Kaia you look very pretty ." he said still smiling but it when she told him her mom had sent her a gift for HIM that his expression change, going from smiling to really suprised "Really ?! And o-of course i'm going to remind you " He wasn't prepared to somebody buying him something, When he heard the counterpart of having a gift he started smiling again "Of course! It would be my pleasure " Ben never been to any of his friends house because most of the time he prefer the visit to be at his house, but a exception never hurt anyone...at least for now.

Kaia proudly smiled as she got the compliment. "Thank you! You look amazing yourself too," she almost felt bad about not remembering to give him a compliment as she came over, but she only almost felt bad. "Thank you! And yes, really," Kaia nodded as saying that it wasn't a joke. Her mom loved all Kaia's friends and Ben was one of them. "Yay!" She let out a happiness sound and then took Ben's hand and smiled too cheerfully for someone who was not planning something. "Come and dance with me!' she fastly jumped from holidays back to the ball and started to move to the dance floor while still holding Bens hand.

Ben blushed slightly when his friend took his hand, due to not being used to physical contact.He let himself be trained on the dancefloor by Kaia laughing at her dance movement, before starting to dance too.His movements didn't look like anything at all, in another situation he wouldn't have done that by fear of bridging himself but at that moment he didn't care, right now he was just trying to have fun.

Kaia didn't worry about the way they looked, she moved into the rhythme of the music with Ben, being really glad that it wasn't a slow dance. While dancing she was also laughing and not caring about what other thinks. "We are killin it!" She laughed as saying it and continued her dance. This was the first time that she was so happy that she didn't exactly knew how to dance, this was more fun.
