Sage Ottavi loved the Yuleball more than she loved Halloween. While halloween was fun and it was a good night to forget everything else, it was also a night she had to do a lot for, the Yuleball was different. It was the kind of night that she didn't really need to do much for. The slytherin teen got out a dress that she'd been wanting to wearing but hadn't had the chance, and then matched that with some make up and some shoes. All in all, she was always ready pretty quickly. This years Yuleball was no different. Sage had had her dress picked out since just after halloween, and it was mostly a dress that was quite revealing in all the right places. It was really a simple short black dress, and as she stood in the mirror fixing her hair into long flowing waves she was incredibly happy with it. It was a dress that she had picked out and that her father had bought for her. He was pretty busy right now, so he hadn't paid much attention to what the dress looked like, and wasn't too bothered if it wasn't a dress which actually suited the age of Sage. The young slytherin was happy about this. She was glad she didn't really need to think about what her father would think about the dress. It was a good on her. The teen had a slim and tall figure. She had long tanned legs, which were growing as she grew older. Sage finished off the last of her make up, adding a dark eye liner to her eyes to really bring out the light blue. She had gone very simple with her make up, a barely noticeable foundation, some light lip gloss, and just the dark eyeliner and mascara. Everything to bring out the best features of her face. She was a young and forming girl, but she was really capturing the attention of the males from her year. Without even really trying. Sage had always thought that she was so much more beautiful than the veela's. Since they were falsely beautiful. She was naturally beautiful. Well, that was how she justified it in her mind.

With a bright smile at her own reflection the teen then put on her high black heeled shoes, and with a small twirl in front of her mirror, grabbed her clutch and then headed to the Yuleball. Sage had once been incredibly unstable in heels, she been working hard to improve, and it showed now. She strode with confidence through the halls towards the Great Hall. Her dress, was made of light material, and the skirt moved with her steps, her hair bounced along, and she was smirking happily as eyes turned towards her. The heels, and the short skirt combined gave her a much taller and slimmer appearance. Her legs she felt were part of her great assets. The teen liked the way they helped make her look so much slimmer, and she enjoyed the way heels made them look. Sage took great care in her appearance. She did it mostly for herself, but also because of the way guys acted around her when they saw her dressed as she was. Walking up the last of the steps from the dungeons the girl entered the great hall. She let her eyes glance around at the different people. The dresses of the girls. The dress robes and suits of the boys. The slytherin teen was sure she noticed the odd kilt lingering around the place. The sight made her smile. She liked when the boys had to put in some effort. She was glancing around, to see if she could see Preston, but, as it turned out she could not. maybe tonight a different boy could steal her attention. Someone else that was interesting enough to play with who would appreciate the effort that Sage had put into looking good. She walked around the skirts of the walls, before striding confidently over to the drinks table and carefully bending down to be able to see what each drink was. She didn't care that the skirt of her dress was just covering her up. She got herself a cup of butterbeer, and just stood a little off the table, letting her eyes glance around the people lingering around the room, looking for some cute boy that she mess around with. She wasn't interested in a relationship, but she definitely enjoyed playing with boys. Their attention was so easily kept, she just enjoyed everything about it. Taking a sip of her butterbeer she remembered to grab a straw from the drinks table, before she just let her eyes continue glancing around. She was alone, but that was only for now.
