As a transfer student, Kylie had much to learn about Hogwarts, from teaching styles of her Professors or House Elves to avoid but most importantly though she needed to know where everything was. She didn't have the time to be bumbling around like a first year looking for classes so luckily one of the Prefects from her house had offered to show her around. This was after Potions, when they both had a free moment so as class let out she packed her bag up and waited for him in the corridor just outside of the classroom, assuming he might want to talk with a few of his friends as he left. Kylie was just glad that Isaiah was willing to do this, so she didn't want to make him feel rushed. While BTA had been a nice enough Academy, Hogwarts already was proving to have a kinder stock of students. At least this was what she felt from being here so far. She still had a lot to learn.
Although she maybe would've wished to change out of her uniform which was never something Kylie felt completely comfortable with. She much preferred muggle clothes, they always felt less formal to her and more expressive than a cloak covering a very plain uniform. In Brazil, they had been expected to wear uniforms only during class but only if the Professor felt it required. The uniforms were severely dated and some students were able to afford multiple sets. Still Kylie was lucky to not have to be separated so far from her family, the last year had been very difficult with her father being back in New Zealand all the time.
