Alexia yawned as she moved away from her desk and filed the rest of her papers in her drawers. She had no major cases to worry about for a while, as her pregnancy would make her a liability, so she was on desk duty for the next few months. It was strange being on desk duty again, she hadn't been here for seven years or so. The last time was when she had been pregnant with the twins, now she had triplets and she was still trying to get that through her head. Honestly she blamed it on Austiin, as she had absolutely no idea how it could be her fault. The father chose the gender after all, it made sense that he could also choose the number. She shook her head at that thought, now she was just being ridiculous. Stretching her limbs and making sure that everything was in its place, Alexia headed out in search of Samual Kaster. She had promised to buy the boy a coffee so they could catch up. Though they chatted during work hours, it we normally for a case or something, so they didn't get to talk about life outside of work so much. However, she was free now and she was hoping that he was too.

Spotting him in the lobby, Alexia motioned for him with her hand and smiled when she got the all clear. She then turned and rushed out, before she could be knocked over by any other workers on their way out. She didn't want to have an accident whilst she was pregnant, considering it was why she had taken a desk job in the first place. Everything that had happened with a new Head Auror being chosen after Nicolas' death was still weighing heavily on her and others and she knew that the department would never forgive such a heavy loss, practically under their noses. She would never have expected someone as important as Mr King to be killed at his own wedding, especially seeing as there were a number of aurors there. It just honestly made no sense and though the culprit had been caught, Alexia wasn't taking anything for granted with this case. It was not hers, honestly, but she was sure that everyone was mostly involved considering the mutual like that existed for their late boss. Trying not to dwell on such sad facts, Alexia made her way into the little cafe that she liked on the harbour. It did great caffeine products here and Alexia had been coming here since she first became an auror. It was one of her favourite places to date.
