James and Colin had been dating for several months now, and the entire thing had been just... surreal to James. Never before in his life had he met someone like Colin, someone kind and caring, who put James' needs above their own instead of just using James for their own means. James was starting to care about Colin, deeply, much more than he had ever intended. And it scared him. That's why he had asked Colin to meet him today, in a small park not too far from James' house. James dreaded what he was about to do, but there was no way around it. He sighed, bouncing his leg and trying not to let the anxiety overwhelm him as he waited for Colin.
