Things had been a real whirlwind. Throwing things in all directions and shifting him to be something he'd never thought it'd be. A few months after his tour had ended in Australia, Elijah Tine had found himself flying over to America to meet with record companies in Los Angeles who were interested in him. That had come as a shock to the teen who was barely of age. He had met with countless people, sung for countless companies, interviewed with many people. While also keeping all the muggle connections up to date. Using social networks to keep those already interested up to date about what he was doing. After about two weeks of being in L.A. Elijah had managed to get himself signed to a record company, a dream come true. However, this was where the work really began. In the past few months he'd worked harder than ever before. Writing, and recording songs. Creating an album, his very first album. He'd already released his EP in America, and it had done surprisingly well, a lot better than they'd originally thought it might, which had greatly pleased Elijah, since his passion in life was music, and really only music. Only a week before he'd finished the album, the artwork had been chosen and it had been titled, however, the first single would be released a long time before the album would be. It was for the simple reason that it would let Elijah's support grow to push the single before beginning to push the album. Which was what he was preparing for, the month before Elijah had been named as the support act for a large American group who were doing well, and who Elijah had done a song with. Elijah had ecstatic, it was a 2 month summer tour, with dates practically every night. For the teen, this was his dream, Sure doing a headlining tour was something he'd prefer, but he had to start somewhere, and he'd received a lot of support from different people. Which made him feel like he could do it. Like he could make it. He'd worked hard enough. He'd done more in the past few months that ever before. And he was ready. He was ready for it. It would be amazing. It would be his time to reach for the stars. The best part of all of it, was who he was with. 6 months before, Elijah couldn't have imagined the lengths he'd reached, he couldn't imagine ever having made the move out to the city of angels. He'd done it all without any help, by taking a chance and trying to achieve what he wanted. It was all he could've hoped for. He had never thought in his wildest dreams how quickly things would start happening. There had been the first summer tour with the Australian band who'd recently been signed, and were looking for unknown support acts. While at the same time self-releasing his EPs on muggle sites where he could do such things. He'd pushed everything on his own. With the help of his ever decent parents. They'd never approved of his choices to be a musician. The choice to not finish school. It was pretty clear that no matter how hard he tried he'd never be good enough for them, so in giving up, in deciding against their advice he'd made the best decision ever. Because the very next day he was getting on his very own bus and traveling around the states preforming. Preforming night after night, Radio stations in the afternoon of the cities, tv appearances. Everything, Elijah was that little piece of New Zealand that people were interested in knowing about. All of this with the only person he'd ever want to share it with.

The surprise of his life, and also one of the highest ranking moments in his life was his first preformance in Australia, not only because it was his tour, but also because he'd been reconnected with someone that he'd sorely missed in his life in the time before it. Most of the reason why he'd closed the chapter on his school life, and opened a new one with the magic of the music he loved making. A beautiful, beautiful girl. The girl who had always made him feel confident in himself. Who had been happy to just be around him even when he was being weird. The person who always listened to the songs before he recorded them. Who he made a point of spending a lot of time with no matter how busy he was. The only person he was bringing on tour with him through choice. He'd been under advisement to not bring her along, but Elijah had stood his ground, since he didn't have anyone else, and he didn't really have a band either. It was generally just him and his guitar up on stage. Maybe a little backing from a back track but he didn't need a band all the time. Elijah had not been demanding about it, just saying that it would make no difference to them if she came. More to the point, he'd given her a guitar and made them hire her as his photographer. An unofficial title that gave her a little more to do than just being the girl who he took on tour. But to Elijah she was so much more. It was the girl he sat down at their dining table with and played his guitar to. Who he was happy to share this experience with. After all, he saw it in the sense that if it weren't for Kynleigh Davis he wouldn't have made the move. She was his anchor in all of this. She was the reason he knew that no matter what, going to keep his head on the ground and not become big headed. Be engulfed by whatever fame it could bring to him. It was on the eve of tour, Elijah had gone out of his way to treat his girlfriend. As much as he did that fairly often, it was important today. He felt that the eve was always important, he had almost lost her once, and he didn't want to repeat that. She truly meant more to him than he'd ever want to repeat.

Booking a lovely dinner on the nicest restaurant in all of L.A. a place not too expensive, a place not too busy, a smart place where he could dress up nice and they could be boyfriend and girlfriend before tour. A small amount of time to be just Elijah and Kynleigh. Elijah had taken to his social media, and asked people who lived in the area, and the only ones that were in his price range, as well as being a treat. In the end, he'd picked a little restaurant, a roof top terrace restaurant that overlooked downtown L.A. Elijah had left little notes around their apartment telling her how to dress. He had countless things to do, practicing, and the getting the stuff they'd packed on to the bus. Little bits and pieces of home. Mostly he'd been avoiding the apartment to set everything up. Being a large bouquet of flowers, red, yellows, pinks. A large red ribbon keeping them together. Elijah was heading up the stairs to their apartment, the top of the building, three floors, 4 apartments on each floor. Elijah took the steps two at a time. The place they had was just big enough for the two of them. It was a two bedroom place, both with en suites, as well as a bathroom in the same area as the bedrooms. There was a large living area, that had a large balcony, with a small table for two and two garden chairs. Then their was the kitchen, a lovely place, slightly odd colouring, but Elijah had taken to it. He smiled as he entered the place. "Kynleigh?" Elijah called, he was dressed in a simple white shirt, and black skinny tie, black dress trousers, and on top of this, he was wearing smart shoes. He was generally a converse wearing guy but, he knew that he to be smart. Well, he had to dress for the occasion, and this last meal was the occasion. Well, the eve before a tour was always the thing to celebrate. He held the flowers behind his back, just waiting for Kynleigh, briefly fixing his hair ever so slightly. Getting a little nervous. They might've been dating for a couple of months at this point, but date nights still made him nervous. After all, he had been lucky to get such an amazing girl. Kynleigh was amazing. She was beautiful, and more than that, he would do anything for her. Tonight was about them. It would always be about them. "You ready to go?"

The last several months had been busy if nothing else, but they'd also been wonderful. Ever since the night that Kynleigh had shown up for Elijah's first concert in Australia her life had been different, but in a good way. A perfect way! Much to her mother's dismay the young blonde witch had packed up everything she owned, which wasn't much, and took off on tour with her boyfriend. Never once had she felt she'd made a mistake. She was getting to travel all over creation with the one person who meant more to her than anyone else. At first there was some issues with her being with him, but Elijah had nipped that in the bud. He'd given her a camera and she officially became the unofficial photographer, which was totally fine with her because it gave her a creative outlet as well and she was actually getting quite good.

Kynleigh knew that they would be leaving again for another tour tomorrow. This time all over America. She was beyond excited and more proud of Elijah that anyone would have ever thought possible. She'd been packing for the last few days, making piles of things to take with her and things to keep in the apartment. The blonde had gone out earlier that morning to run a few last minute errands and when she'd gotten home she found the place empty. She figured Elijah was out getting things packed onto the bus so she figured she'd just let him be, though when she started through the apartment she found several little notes with very vague messages. He was planning something. She smiled. Kynleigh didn't know if she'd ever get used to him doting on her, but he always insisted and it seemed to give him pleasure so she let him. Seeing as she'd already packed most of her clothes and in all honesty she really didn't have anything super nice to wear she grabbed her purse and headed back out to try and find something suitable to wear for whatever it was her boyfriend had planned for the evening.

Several hours, and quite a bit of primping later the blonde stood in front of the mirror tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. She'd decided to simply curl her blonde hair and pull it up in a messy, but still nice looking up-do. She opted for very little makeup because she had always been a strong believer in the saying that less was more and she honestly didn't like the cakey feeling it left on her face. Kynleigh heard the front door open and close and then she heard Elijah call and ask if she was ready. She beamed brightly at herself in the mirror as she looked herself over once more, hoping she looked okay. It was rare for her to dress this way as she was usually a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, but tonight was a special occasion and she wanted to to look nice for her sweetie. She stepped out of the bedroom and smoothed her hands down the front of her dress as she looked at Elijah, her brown eyes bright. "I'm ready. What do you think," she asked uncertainly as she struck a little pose and smiled.

Hardly believing his luck most days the former Hufflepuff found it easy to enjoy every moment. The days that he'd been up to the early hours writing, trying to figure out a certain bridge or a chorus that best described what he wanted from a song was proving to be a lot harder than he'd initially thought it would. Writing and playing had always come somewhat easy, but the pressure to write the best, to be the best was a lot for the young man to take. However, he never really complained. He was doing exactly what he wanted to do with his life. He was making money for the one things he'd always hoped for. He was being paid to follow his dream. To do his dream. It was an odd thing that Elijah had always been persuaded he wouldn't actually ever get.Though that being said, Elijah Tine was the kind of guy who would've been happy being unknown and just playing his guitar. He had never thought he'd ever be able to tour around america as a support act, he had never set his sights that far. Things had just fallen into place, and it had suddenly been in reach. It was odd. He wasn't sure how else to describe it. He had an amazing girlfriend, the weather was gorgeous all the time, his manager was supportive, the fans were too. Everything was going right. It felt almost too good to be true. Touring was what he almost breathed for. If he didn't tour he didn't see the point in music making. He had to show it to the world. Had to show he could do it, that he was good enough. He was happy to just be going around playing, but it would be hard. There was little doubt in that. Each day, he'd be pushing his song at the radio stations, and singing his heart out at night. In the next few months he had very few days off. Well ever since he'd first went on tour in Australia he'd had very few days off. it was non-stop work. But he was happy, and he had her to keep him ground. The girl that he was more or less singing to in his songs. It was no secret that Elijah had a girlfriend. It was the first things magazines asked him, and he always replied with Yes, I have a girlfriend, and she's amazing. She's so supportive. Elijah was glad he could be here with her. It was difficult to imagine doing this alone. He would definitely say that he wouldn't be as happy as he was. She was in most cases his inspiration. The person who he would do anything for. Elijah wanted to make sure that she was having as a good time as him, that this was what she wanted too. His girlfriend, his sweetheart. High School Sweethearts was what they named them. Which had made the singer smile. That was an adorable little idea. Standing the middle of their home, was amazing. He never thought he'd ever get to this point, and not this soon. They were young with their lives ahead of them. There would be no stopping what he believed that they could achieve together. Better together than apart.

As Kynleigh stepped into the main room where he was waiting, he felt a rush of happiness. The butterflies in his stomach doubling, and his smile growing. Reaching the green eyes easily. His smile never looking like it would leave. Elijah was so happy to have her with him. He was so happy she liked him like he loved her. She was a beautiful, sexy young woman. He could thank his lucky stars that he had managed to get a girl like that. He closed the space between them, and let out an exggarate sigh of appreciation. "So beautiful," He smiled at her. "Absolutely Stunning" Elijah shook his head, "Super sexy." Elijah held out the flowers to her, "You look amazing, honey. I am literally the luckiest guy ever." He wasn't sure if she'd want to take the flowers with them to the restaurant. Elijah leaned in and kissed her on the lips. "How about me?" He stepped back and gave a quick twirl, curtseying at her once he was back round to facing her. "Presentable?" It was really the last suit that Elijah had. He didn't have many, just a few.Ones the record company had asked he get, so that Elijah wouldn't always be Mr. Casual. For the times he went to the premieres and got publicity. Elijah more often than not chose casual wear over smart clothes, but situations had changed, and he needed at times to be dressed slightly more fancier than before. He'd learned that image was pretty important. But that the scruffy look, was almost becoming his signature, which the record company had loved, since it gave him a look they could work with in attracting people into listening to his music and recognising him when he was somewhere. "I have reservations for 7pm, and the driver is waiting downstairs." Elijah had quickly come to realise that him not being able to drive yet was a huge problem in L.A. He was now learning, but it would be a little while before he was able to drive. All in time. It was something his manager had found odd, but, had thankfully accepted. Elijah had realised that through all of this, they had to be very careful about magic. it was why, though he always took his wand with him, it stayed hidden. "I asked the people on the social media sites where was the best place, and where we are going was the most popular answer, so if it's terrible, I am not to blame." Elijah laughed lightly. "After you, oh fair and beautiful sorceress."

The young witches cheeks went pink and hot as her boyfriend showered her with compliments especially when he called her sexy. Kynleigh Davis had never thought herself to be that, but with Elijah he always made her feel all of those things and he never wasted a moment to let her know just how much she meant to him. She beamed brightly as she took the flower from him and gave them a little sniff, noting that they smelled amazing. She kissed him back enthusiastically, knowing that she'd never ever get tired of doing that. The blonde walked into the kitchen and looked in one of the cabinets and pulled out a vase and filling it with water and placing the flowers in it. "Perfect," she said aloud as she placed them on the table. Giggling as Elijah did a little spin about she clapped her hands before grabbing his in hers. "You, my sweet handsome hunk of a man look absolutely dashing," she said as she gave him a light peck on the cheek. She rested her forehead on his shoulder and sighed happily. "Have I told you lately how much I love you Elijah Tine," she asked, feeling warm all over as the words came out of her mouth.

Kynleigh still found it odd at times that they had a driver. She herself had learned how to drive when she'd lived in Australia, but Elijah didn't know how to and with the life that they lead they couldn't very well go around apparating to and from places. To run simple tasks around town the young witch had simply chosen to buy herself a nice bike and use that as her mode of transportation. They had to be careful with their use of magic around everyone. At home she could use it as she pleased to do simple household chores, but while they were out her wand stayed carefully tucked away in the pouch in her bag. "Got it...if it's the worst place I've ever eaten then it's all your fault. Totally understanding what you're saying," she teased, sticking her tongue out playfully. Kynleigh stepped out before Elijah and hearing his words she turned and whispered, "Fair and beautiful sorceress? My my aren't you charming...sure you weren't actually a Slytherin?" She winked at her boyfriend before taking his hand and letting him lead her to the car.

As much as Elijah was sure that things would get hard for the two of them, he knew that they would always be able to make it. He had a strong hope that no matter how strained, tired or busy they became that their relationship would make it. Seeing her in a beautiful dress was a not necessary reminder that his girlfriend was beautiful. He knew that, whether she was in a dress or her usual jeans t-shirt. No matter what she took his breath away. This dress was just the kind of dress that made Elijah's heart hammer hard in his chest. This girl in front of him was his world. The way she smiled made him smile, the way she laughed made him smile. Every minute he spent with her was a fantastic time. Each second a happy reminder that she was amazing and that he loved her with all his heart. It didn't matter that most of his songs in the inital EP were all a little about loss. The new album was cheerier, but he still had the very simple sound of him, and his guitar. He had songs where he thought of her. No matter where he was while performing it he thought of her. It was so easy for him to get lost while watching her. Taking the flowers from him, and putting them in a case. It seemed a little silly him buying flowers for her if they did in the end, share an apartment but Elijah was a firm believer in being the kind of boyfriend who didn't need an occasion to give his girlfriend flowers. Though in this case it was sort of an occasion. When she took his hands he inter wound his fingers with hers. Smiling down at her as she Said he was handsome. Despite telling himself he found his cheeks reddening slightly. "Oh, sssh. You're making me blush." Elijah feigned embarrassment and with his free hand pretended to cover his face away from her. He looked back up in time for him to turn his face so she could easily reach his cheek. He smiled happily as she did so. He wrapped his arms around and leaned his head slightly towards her. "Not recently enough" Elijah said jokingly. "I love you too Kynleigh. So much." he kissed the top of her head. And lightly rubbed her back in an affectionate manner.

Elijah was really hoping the place was nice. From what he'd seen from the pictures. It seemed really nice, in a way that he knew she would enjoy. Elijah of course was sure that no matter how bad it was that he'd have a good time. It wasn't hard with her by his side. A simple laugh or a little comment would make him laugh. The simplist things. He laughed along with her. "I am glad we are on the same page about this. Totally their fault." he said seemingly agreeing with her though his words told a slightly different story. Elijah glanced briefly down at their hands before back up at Kynleigh. "Pfft, those Pesky Slytherins." Elijah said, clutching his chest pretending he'd been offended. "They have nothing on me.I'm more charming than the entire house" and with that he lead her to the door. Takin the steps slowly and carefully he didn't want to trip and take a beautifully dressed Kynleigh with him. Elijah lead them outside and greeted the driver. Elijah had his own bike for the time. But for things like this his manager had been happy to get him a driver. The area they lived in was a nice little area. Quiet and very green. They headed towards the main city. Sitting in the back of the car, Elijah put his arm around Kynleigh and held her closer to him. The journey in the end didn't take more than a half hour. It was a very fancy area. Lots of little restaurant with tables outside and large prices inside. Elijah thanked the driver before leading them slightly away. "If I am right in thinking, the place is just here." Elijah sounded more sure than he felt. Then he noticed the place. He lead her up the stairs to the restaurant at the top. "Tine, for seven." he said to the waiter at the front who great him. They were then lead off to the table, on to the terrace where an amazing view of downtown L.A. It was beautiful. "View is almost as beautiful as you."He whispered to her as they were seated. "So, what do you think?" Elijah looked around them. It was a nice place. Very smartly decorated, they were dressed right for the occasion. There were white lights in almost all the places around them, giving the things a good glow to it. The sun was setting in the distance, and the sky was getting steadily darker. It was simply put beautiful. He just hoped the food would be as nice as what everything else was. "Have I picked well?" Happy to take the credit if things went right.

Once they were settled into the back of the car Kynleigh snuggled in closer to Elijah as he wrapped his arm around her. If things never got any better than this for the two of them then the young blonde would still be the happiest person on the face of the planet, but as it were Elijah was doing incredibly well and their life together was just getting better day by day. In a sense things were perfect. It only took about a half an hour, give or take, to get to wherever it was they were supposed to be going. Kynleigh let Elijah lead her, hand in hand, to the small little restaurant just up a set of stairs. As her boyfriend spoke to the host at the stand the young woman looked around in amazement. She had a feeling that this place came with a hefty little price tag as well, but she wouldn't argue with Elijah about that. It wasn't as if he was hurting for money by any means and it seemed to give him pleasure in spoiling her a bit at times.

Kynleigh's cheeks went pink at his compliment. "Are you sure you're not a little bit biased Mr. Tine?" She looked out over the view...it was stunningly breathtaking. "I think it's wonderful. Everything here is just so amazing. And the view is breathtaking," she said, still looking out over downtown LA. This time last year if someone would have told Kynleigh Davis that she'd be dating her 'high school sweetheart' and traveling the world on his well known music tour she would have simply laughed in their face, but she was here with him and it was amazing. Hearing his question she grinned broadly and replied, "On a scale of one to ten...I'll give you an eleven. You did good babe!"

The smaller, finer details had become somewhat necessary for Elijah. He sorely missed just being able to do anything and have no worries about the effects of them, but here with his beautiful girlfriend in the beautiful city of L.A. He knew he had to watch everything he did. The restaurant seemed like the perfect little place. It was quiet but not empty and it was classy but not overly expensive. For those reasons it had been his reasoning for going. The apartment they had came in a lot cheaper than a lot of places might. He didn't have a car so he didn't pay for gas, and sunny Los Angeles was always warm. It was perfect. He had because of those reasons the money to spend on Kynleigh. Spoiling her some would say. He never really meant to do it intentionally, but he wanted to make up for lost time and lost dates. That and he was constantly busy most of the weeks since coming to this new place so all the times he could make time for her he was see to shower her with gifts and compliments. Those times didn't include their home dinners. That was less about dates and more about very needed down time. An opportunity to play for her, and see if she liked it. The final say. Well a sort of final say, since really it was the record company that had the final say over if the tracks would be part of his album. But if Kynleigh didn't like it he tended to oppose the track too. Now however, the album was more or less finished and they were close to his single being released. He would be pushing it during the tour, and it was actually being released mid way through the tour. The marketing team at the record company had said that it would be for the best. It would work in his favor and since he didn't know much about that kind of thing he was happy to listen to people telling him what to do. Elijah smiled at Kynleigh as he sat down at their table. He'd done well. They'd done well. This was a great place. "Thank you," He gave a curt nod of the head to go along with the thanks. The place was great. He would have to remember to thank all the people who'd suggested it to him. He didn't know very many places in L.A or the roundabout area yet. He'd been so busy he hadn't gotten many chances to try new places. He was just glad to be getting the chance every so often, and soon he'd know all the right spots. The bet places and the worst.

A waiter came along and gave them both menus. Elijah thanked the man and through force of habit looked at the prices. He wasn't surprised at what he saw. He was much more just relieved that they weren't double that. He looked up at Kynleigh. "Order whatever you want, tonight we are celebrating." Elijah wasn't fussy, he quickly chose from the menu. The menu itself had a mixture of things, it had a lot of European dishes. Paella, an assortment of different meats and still the usual burgers, pizzas and a wide range of pastas. The restaurants menu was a little everywhere, taking from different places, but giving it a nice feel. It was the kind of place Elijah loved, he hated being restricted when it came to foods, he wasn't fussy but he like having a large range of options. He asked for water to be brought to the table to get started. Here in America both were technically underage, and Elijah knew he couldn't be seen drinking before he was the right age, well not so publicly. He looked around them, the place, the people. The everything. How had he been so lucky with all this. With Kynleigh, the tour. He couldn't really believe it. "I can't believe we've been in L.A for three months. I can't believe we're going on tour tomorrow. It's going to be do amazing." he remember a conversation they'd once had. Where he'd said he would love to be on tour. Where she had said she would love to travel. "I still remember that time in school, by the cliffs when you asked if I was any good on the guitar." Elijah gave a light laugh. "I think at this point I've proved I am good." Elijah poured them two glasses of water. He raised his own. "To us," he smiled at her again. This was just what he needed. What he wanted. The eve of the tour, the eve of all his wildest dreams coming true. And all the while Kynleigh by his side.

Kynleigh merely nodded when she was told to order whatever she wanted. She browsed through the menu noting that there was a large selection of items. How was she supposed to pick just one? There was so much to choose from and it all sounded delicious. Looking up from the menu as Elijah spoke she couldn't help, but smile. She grabbed his hand and gave it a light squeeze. She remembered all too well the day he was referring to. It was one of the memories that kept her going when she'd been away from him. It was one of the things that kept her holding on to the belief that she'd see him again one day. "Yeah, I suppose you've more than proven yourself to be pretty awesome," she said with a half grin. "And I've gotten to surf in California just like I remember I had wanted to do," the blonde added with a slight laugh, remembering the day she'd attempted to surf, but mostly just kept falling off the board. Kynleigh also remembered that even back then the pair of them had decided that if Elijah did ever get to go on tour she'd go with him. Of course at the time they'd only been playing around and joking with the idea, but here they were several years later and it was just like they had planned so many years before.

Kynleigh raised her glass and lightly tapped hers with his. "To us," she repeated his words back to him. The first and only love of her young life had decided he wanted her with him while all of his dreams were coming true. She wasn't sure how fate had smiled on her, but she was glad it had. Things could only get better for Elijah from here on out if he kept up the hard work and Kynleigh had already decided several months prior that as long as he wanted her with him then she'd be right there through it all. "Are you getting nervous about leaving tomorrow," she asked curiously, wondering if he had any pre-tour jitters coursing through him at all.

The young musician was happy that Kynleigh was finding things to do when he was busy working. it had worried him a little that she would get bored and want to leave because she was bored, but he had been nicely surprised that she hadn't been. The she had managed to find a while bunch of things that she'd done. Elijah was happy to know that she enjoying herself in America. The L.A. really did seem like the best fit for the two of them. They were a couple living the dream in America. They would be okay, no matter how tough things could he was sure that everything they could work through which would be fine. It was almost silly how much Elijah trusted how well they would do. When he fell in love he gave it everything. He fought hard to be sure that they knew how much he cared, that they had his heart, it was good that he'd only needed that on one other occasion and he'd been about twelve at the time. Eli had never been good with girls, but he was a romantic, he fell into love very openly, and he enjoyed what he got in return, which was always good. Kynleigh was a beautifully perfect girl. And he knew he was lucky to have her in his life. Lucky that she would be willing to come with him half way across the world on the whim and a possibility of making it. It was hard to believe even for him where he had ended up. There had never been shread of doubt in his mind that he wouldn't work for it. That he wouldn't push and push and push, but he was surprised at how quickly things had happened for him. One day he'd just been some guy from Australia playing small cafe's and on the streets. Every so often uploading them on to the muggle sites, and here he was. He could hardly believe it. Part of him still didn't, but he'd worked too hard for it to not be true. For him to just wake up and realise that it was all a figment of his own imagination. He would be happy with whatever happened from there on out. He would happy if he toured just this once and that was him. He loved touring, he loved preforming but if he'd done it, he could die happy. And he was on the eve of his first major tour. It wasn't his tour for his album, but he was happy to be going on a major tour. It didn't matter who it was for.

Elijah held up his own glass, nodding his head before taking a sip of the drink. He was happy that she was with him. He was happy that this was the restaurant that he picked. He was just in general happy. There was very little that could be said or done that would at this point ruin the mood that he was in. He had been working so hard that it would all be worth it in the end. That this would all be worth it in the end. Elijah nodded and put down his glass on the table. He was very nervous. "Nah, I am the picture of calm." Elijah said with a very fake voice. He was putting it on like he did a lot of the time when he was joking. "I'm seriously worried that I've forgotten my guitar. Which would be terrible. I mean I've had that thing for ages, and for me to forget it before we go on tour would be horrible. Seriously awful." Elijah was only touring with guitar. The total of he was really bringing with him, were his guitar, and Kynleigh, the rest was either their clothes and stuff, his manager and guitars given to him for different songs. All of which he'd been told to bring. The first two were the only things he would bring without thinking. "What about you? Nervous?" He asked, wondering if she was, she would technically be start her new job tomorrow, and it was an odd things going off for months at a time just to travel around. "It'll be amazing. I know it. We'll see so much of America at the same time too. Something I never really thought I'd do."

Kynleigh smirked when he said he was the picture of calm. She knew that he always got nervous before big things and this American tour was definitely something big. The blonde raised her brow slightly at his next statement though. She knew better than anyone that he'd be lost without his guitar. It wasn't just any guitar to him and she knew that. Thinking for a moment she pulled out her phone and programmed something in, smiling. "There. I just set a reminder that will alarm in two hours that way I can remember to remind you to pack your guitar as soon as we get home. I'll even place a Post-It note on your forehead before we go to bed tonight so that's the first thing you see when you get up in the morning. Sound like a plan," Kynleigh said semi-jokingly. "Though I'd be more worried if you forgot all of your clothes. I mean think of how embarrassing it would have to be to perform every single night in cities all across America in nothing, but your skivvies. The horror," she added as she stuck her tongue out at her boyfriend.

Kynleigh pondered his question to her. Was she nervous? Not really. At least she didn't think she was. Her job on the tour was fairly easy. Take awesome shots of Elijah and the band and keep him grounded and calm. "Hmm, I don't suppose I'm nervous actually. My job is fairly simple. The only person I have to keep interested is you and I seem to be doing a fair enough job of that so far," she said with a crooked grin. "Of course I've seen some of these hot little American numbers. I might have to step up my game if I want to keep you interested," the blonde quipped with a wink.

The waiter brought them their food and they ate and chatted for a while, simply enjoying each others company. "You're going to do amazing you know that? You are amazing Elijah, don't ever forget that," she whispered to him as their plates were cleared from the table.

The teen smiled at her as she did that. He was sure that he would remember in the end but, Elijah was very forgetful. He knew that he probably in the end would end up forgetting it, and it would be the worst thing to happen to him. All he wanted to be able to do was play his guitar on stage and if he forgot the guitar that meant the world to him then he was sure that this would be the world's biggest disaster. He knew that without that he would just be a little lost. His guitar had only really gotten to be the right size for him over the past few years, it was a lot easier to play. It was the one instrument he'd had since he was about seven years old. He was an old battered thing. It had writing all over it. It had hundreds of marks and tiny little repairs. It was a guitar that had practically been through the washer. It was everything that Elijah was as a musician. It was a part of him, almost as much as his own hand was a part of him. "Posted note to the head sounds like a better idea." Elijah nodded in agreement, pretending that he had not gathered that it had been a joke. He smiled at her and laughed slightly. He worried for a brief second that he had forgotten all his clothes, but then he remembered that he hadn't. That it had been one of the first things to go on the bus. It was why Elijah had basically been wearing the same things over and over for the past few days. "I could totally pull that off. I would look great." Elijah joked, he knew he wouldn't maybe pull it off, but he also knew it would be very embarrassing. "It could be my thing, preforms only in underwear." Elijah pretended to be motioning a sign written above them. He would hate to preform each night in only his underwear but he knew at least he would be a lot less cold. He was sure however that no matter what happened he would be fine, they would be fine. Elijah knew the tour would be amazing. He knew that they would have a fantastic time. They would enjoy it so much more than anything else. So much more than the last tour. He was glad to hear, she wasn't nervous. That was good. He would've hated her to be too nervous about her job. Elijah smiled at her. He was sure she was going to do amazingly. She was going to be the person to get the entire thing on camera. It would be amazing.

"You'll be amazing, and you have a very interesting subject to photography, so that will make it so much easier on you." Elijah struck a small pose at the table, pouting his lips and pretending to put his hand on his hip. He laughed lightly. One thing was for certain he was going to have an amazing time. The tour would be the most incredible thing ever. He was so glad he would get to share it with her. "I guess you will." Elijah added at the end. Sticking his tongue out at her briefly. He wasn't really going tobe interested in any of the other girls. He only really had eyes for one person, and he already had her. All the other girls that went to the concerts, or that he saw would just be American girls who were interested in only his music. Who were only interested in what he looked liked. They were really just fans, and he was already dating his biggest fan. The one girl he could actually saw he wouldn't mind if she jumped on stage and gave him an attack hug. The food arrived, and Elijah tucked in happily. He was only eighteen. He was a hungry guy, he didn't really eat all that much food. He just got hungry at the end of the day and scoffed down what he needed to eat. Here at this restaurant, he was happy. The food was lovely, the conversation and the company were great. He couldn't understand a lot of the time how he'd been so lucky with such an amazing girl. He didn't understand how she couldn't have had a whole line of guys pushing their way towards her and he was the only one who'd managed to win her heart. It was odd to him. He didn't really think he was worthy of her. But he worked everyday to treat her like a princess. His princess. Elijah smiled at her, he wouldn't be able to forget it with her by his side. He reached across the table and put out his hand for her to take. He couldn't help the happiness that he feeling. It brightened his smile, his everything. "I don't think you'd ever let me forget it." Elijah grinned at her. "Don't you forget it either. You are the most amazingly beautiful girl that I have ever laid eyes on. The hundreds of girls that we will meet over the next few months will have nothing on you. Don't you ever forget that. If neither of us forgets that, we'll be the perfect, most well adjusted people in all of Hollywood." Elijah grinned at her again. His smiled was so large, he was just so happy. No matter what happened in the next few days, Elijah was sure he'd be okay. That they would be okay.

"The most well adjusted couple in Hollywood. Wouldn't that be like the most rare thing ever," Kynleigh mused as she thought about all the tabloids she'd read in line at the supermarket about how people, mostly famous people, from this area weren't exactly well known for making super brilliant decisions. "I guess as long as we don't end up on the front of The National Enquirer then we've made a success of keeping each other well grounded then," she said laughing. The waiter brought the check and placed it in front of Elijah which made the young blonde shift slightly uncomfortably in her seat though she didn't dare even suggest that they split the bill because he usually just gave her 'the face' which meant 'Don't start, you're not paying' so she didn't even bother anymore. "What time do we leave tomorrow," she asked as she looked at the time on her phone, seeing that it was almost nine in the evening. She knew that they'd probably leave fairly early and she wanted him to be well rested, though she knew he'd probably not sleep much tonight due to his excitement. Plus, she had a gift that she'd picked up several days prior and wanted to give it to him when they got home.

Meh...sorry so lame :/

Elijah nodded. It would be odd to be known as that. Elijah had noticed that as his popularity increased so did the attention he got from different media, and magazines. He wasn't sure what to make of it. He knew that he would be watch pretty closely, he was young, he'd come to L.A. at seventeen and was now, eighteen. He was young and likely to end up getting more attention because of that. The record company had said that he was going to be whatever a teen heartthrob meant. He was young, and his music was catchy. Basically it meant that he really couldn't be caught doing anything wrong. Which was why he was pretty happy to say that he didn't plan on it. He thought it would be silly for him to start throwing it all away just because he had the money to be able to. Elijah loved music, he loved being able to play, he loved being able to sing. He loved just being able to practice and preform. He would never do anything to risk having that be taken away from him. He was careful and he would do everything in his power to keep himself as under the radar as he could be. It would also be good if he did that because of the whole magical side of things. They had to be very careful when it came to magic, they really couldn't be seen doing anything that wasn't explainable. After all the huge fall out that could come after it wasn't something anyone wanted. That was assuming people actually believed it. After all it was one thing to talk about it and another to actually believe it. Which was why again, they had to be ever so careful about those kinds of things. There had yet to be very scandalous news yet, or anything that was very false. He was happy about that. Everything just seemed better when everyone was just being honest. But, a whole part of being famous was dealing with the press, and while new at it. He was getting the hang of it. One thing he still was awful at, were any red carpets where he had to stand and have hundreds of people take pictures of him at the one time. Elijah just didn't really like that. He stood awkwardly, and waved awkwardly. All the lights made him feel dizzy, but he was getting better at it. And it was getting easier. Even though as his music grew there seemed to be more of them.

"True that." Elijah agreed, laughing along with her. "But, I'm pretty sure we never will." Elijah had seen that paper around the place, looked at it online a few times, and he would be very happy if they managed to stay out of it. Not just because it meant they had close to no scandals but also because he didn't ever want to associate with such a news outlet. He didn't like it in the slightest, that and he just thought the writing and the articles were the most boring things to ever be written. Elijah smiled as the man gave them the bill, and Elijah took out his wallet and gave the man his debit card. He was able to swiftly pay for the meal. Which had been pretty amazing. "Pretty early, we need to be on the bus and ready to go at like 9, so we travel up to Las Vegas in time to some rehersals, and such." Elijah said as he thought about it. He knew that it would be pretty amazing to be preforming in Las Vegas, to open a show in that town, it was pretty incredible. "So, a nice short drive tomorrow, which is good." Elijah smiled at her. He knew that the following day they were driving from their to Salt Lake City, which was slightly further away. All in all, he was pretty excited about seeing a lot of America. "You ready to go?" He asked, as he made sure he had everything. He didn't want to accidentally forget anything in the restaurant the day before the tour. That would not be very good on his part.

Kynleigh scrunched up her nose when he informed her that they had to be on the bus by nine in the morning. She wasn't much of a morning person, but knew that it was essential that they be on time for this so she wouldn't dare complain. The young blonde nodded when he asked if she was ready to go. The couple exited the restaurant where their car was waiting for them. Kynleigh smiled politely and thanked the man who opened the door for her. Once they were tucked away in the back seat she said, "So, I was thinking that maybe after a I get a few shots of you and the band rehearsing that maybe I could head out and see a bit of Las Vegas while you guys do your thing and maybe even see if I've got some time to go to the desert and take some pictures." The blonde looked at her boyfriend and grinned, "I'll be back in plenty of time to be dressed and ready to efficiently perform my job as the official tour photographer."

They spent the rest of the car ride home talking about how excited they were to be getting to tour the U.S. Most people of their age, especially from the magical community, rarely got this opportunity and they both considered themselves extremely lucky to be doing this. Kynleigh was especially grateful to be getting to experience with Elijah. She grinned at the thought of it. If someone would have told her six years ago that she'd be where she was today doing what it was she was doing then she would have thought them absolutely mad, but here she was, seventeen years old and going on tour all over the place with the boy that she loved. Life was pretty much perfect.

Once inside the apartment again Kynleigh kicked off her heels and plopped on the couch, looking over at the flowers that Elijah had surprised her with earlier in the evening. "They're beautiful ya know," she commented, nodding her head in the direction of the flowers before adding, "You're too good to me Elijah Tine, you know that?" The young blonde rested her head on the back of the couch as she looked at Elijah, the light dancing in her eyes at how much she adored him.
