Roman stood up from the staff table and looked out over the crowd of students that were his to mould as best as he could. He thought so far he was doing a decent enough job of it and even thought his staff were doing a bang up job as well. There had been fewer upheavals about the school this year, no drunken students, no mass amount of detentions and certainly no unexpected visitors to the school. All in all the school year had been a relatively quiet one and he hoped that the rest of the years ahead would be just as easy on him. He was after all not getting any younger.

He made his way to the podium and looked down each house table at the various faces, some would be back next year and others would have moved on. They would also have a new group of first years to content with and he sincerely hoped they were as well behaved as this years had been.

"Good evening students. This has been a great year in regards classroom attendance, the academic achievements gained and true we did not have any quidditch but we welcome back to the school those who had left us for Beauxbatons. Most especially our very own champion who will always be a champion in our eyes. I would like to congratulate Slytherin on winning the house cup" with these very words the house banners displayed about the hall changed to indicate the green and silver of Slytherin house. Waiting a moment to allow them time to enjoy their victory which had been well earned, Roman Ivo eventually proceeded.

"I hope you all enjoy your winter vacation and we shall see you the most of you in September. There's a fine feast waiting to be had ... I say ... tuck in" with that he clapped his hands and rows of delicious succulent food filled the tables to overflowing.

Victor sighed as he watch Slytherin take the hall with their massive green colors and shouts from their table. It hadn't been much a victory for the house cup since the whole tournament had taken everyone away from all the school events. Still, Victor losing at anything put him in a blah mood. Maybe it had a lot to do with him being away from Arisa again over the summer. He stood up once the headmaster was the done announcing the end of the year celebration. Victor walk over to Arias table and sat down next to her after going down a couple seats seeing with other puffs. He greeted her normally and spend as much as time as he could with her, every second count no matter what. Maybe this summer he could stay with his aunt but he doubt his parents would let him. They were always prep about family time. It annoyed him a little just thinking about it.

Jaden slide to the end of the table when the celebration erupted. She wasn't to keen on school events but slowly she was beginning to be a part of Hogwarts despite her previous years at Hogwarts and her on going fued with Lily Fossil. Her scars were fading from the accident, her eyes were still a pale blue. Jaden was afraid they would never be hazel again, still she was living. Not dead like Lily had wish to happen. Everyone still clueless about the whole situation, but to Jaden it was a relief at least. She turn her gaze back to the celebration and couldn't wait till next year at least year next was hopeful. Anastasia was coming to Hogwarts and her friend Vanessa was getting along well with Jaden. She at least can count on that, next year would be more memorable than her last. Jaden dig into the ceremony feast, blending into the celebration at last.

Alyssa found it hard to believe that another year was here and gone so quickly, she had to admit that this year was a really nice one and she was sad to see it go. She had gotten very good scores on all her OWL's, finally gotten together with Vincent, and had a pleasant year with minimal issues or trouble for her to deal with. Like usual she sat next to her good friend Hadan with the Glam Squad somewhere near by her, she was so thankful to have her friends around her by this time when she needed them the most. "I'm so happy Slytherin won the House cup!" She whispered to Hadan as she smoothed out her uniform and stared at the Headmaster carefully, Professor Styx had done very well as the Head of House so far and Alyssa was vaguely curious to know if he was proud of his house for taking the victory from the other three houses or not because they had done really well with getting House points this year. Alyssa was proud of her own house and she wasn't afraid to admit it, she was a bit sore that she still hadn't be given any special titles or anything but she supposed she could get over that within time.

When the Headmasters speech was over and the food appeared Alyssa turned and began to focus on the food before her, she was nervous about being a sixth year next year, before she knew it she would be graduating and trying to go out into the world to become an Auror. Hopefully this summer while moving in with Hadan she would still have time to spend with Vincent before he got to busy or something.

The end of the school year was never something that really affected Theodore as much as it seemed to affect everyone else around him. Sure he found it hard to believe that he was soon going to be a Sixth Year and probably had a lot more responsibilities put on him then before by being older and fairly close to his time when he has to leave the school, but nothing has really changed except the age and the year he was in. "You excited to be going home?" He asked Aleyha, who was sitting right next to him as usual, they were always together so he had become very accustomed to her being around him. He almost preferred it that because he always felt much more calm and able to deal with annoying people when she around. They were becoming closer and closer and Theodore honestly did not know how much closer they could really get with pulling an Alyssa move with all the mushy gushy love stuff that made absolute no sense to him. As the Headmaster spoke Theodore made sure to tune in a little, he knew next year year would probably go better for him because his brother wasn't in Hogwarts anymore and that calmed him a little, he just hoped everything next year else went okay too.

When the speech was finished he focused on the food that had appeared and sighed again, his stare shifted over to Aleyha for a moment before he decided to reach for some juice. He wasn't really that hungry anyways, he was actually fairly eager to go home to the Zhefarovich Manor so he could finally get a little break from classes and just spend some time lounging around, if Aleyha let him anyways.

Ariah found it to be a little sad that the school year was now officially over and soon enough she would be off and returning to Hogwarts as Fourth Year. It wasn't that she really liked school all that much, sometimes she found it rather boring and tasking but this place had become like her second home and she was going to miss it way too much. Ariah had made a promise to herself that over the summer she would change, become a bit more more calm and less hyperactive all the freaking time. It was hard but she was actually managing to pull it off okay, some people were even starting to take notice as well which was her goal the entire time. As Ariah listened to the speech going on she glanced at everyone who was sitting near her, this time she ended up not sitting next to Levi but she was still fairly close to him, she had been pretty much avoiding him as much as she could since she found out the whole arranged Marriage thing. Her mother had even confirmed it to her in a letter. It wasn't that she didn't like him or his friends or anything, she just didn't know what to say to him anymore, even when he also admitted that he liked her she still found she could say nothing to him.

When food appeared, Ariah sighed in content because she was absolutely starving, immediately she felt for the vegetables because they happened to be her absolute favorite foods in the world. Hopefully next year would be a lot more fun for her, because she actually intended on coming back.

Andy entered the hall with some of her house mates and made her way to Gryffindor table. Sitting down she smiled well enough at those about her but her mind was else where on someone else entirely. As her eyes drifted across the hall to the Slytherin table she began remembering this very time last year when herself and Crispin had smiled at one another over the space and rows of students. There was no one there to smile at now except perhaps the spotty youth who was winking ridiculously at her. Giving him a disgusted exasperated look she turned her attention to Fenton, Katalina and some of the other Gryffindors.

It wasn't long before the headmaster stood up and began his speech and not long after that again when the food appeared on the table before them. She looked at all of it and realised for the first time in ages she was not hungry. Instead filling her goblet she drank some pumpkin juice and allowed the conversation to waft about her. Next year would be her NEWT year, her graduation year and Crispin would not be there to see it. Determined to put him from her mind she turned to the others attempting to pick up the conversation but failing miserably. So she merely nodded her head in parts and smiled where she thought appropriate.

Kyle yawned as he sat at the Hufflepuff table, glancing about him and wondering what food would be at this particular end of year feast. He hoped they had the same cream buns as last years because they had been delicious. There was tons of chatter going on until the headmaster stood to speak. It felt like every other house bar Slytherin groaned collectively at the news of the winners of the house cup. Kyle snorted his own disgust convinced that if Slytherin had won it was because they had tried hardest of all. After all they were famous for their ambitious streaks. At last the food appeared before him and with a delighted smile he tucked in, oblivious to those about him.

Another year was ending but this particular one was momentus. It was his last, his and Fenton's. They would be experiencing now what Harrison had the year before, what it meant to be free of school restraints forever more. As amazing as this sounded, it also felt extremely daunting. That was the great unknown out there, they would be expected to fend for themselves. To be the very best of what they could be and yet not one of them had any idea just what that was.

He glanced across the tables first to Gryffindor where Fenton and Andy seemed to be chatting, he worried about her and more so now when neither of the boys would be there to keep an eye on her the following year. His gaze swept passed them to Violet on the Hufflepuff table and he smiled to himself. Everyday he was blessed with having her and every day he knew would never be taken for granted. The headmasters speech began, he could not help but roll his eyes on the news that Slytherin had won. He would have preferred to have left with Ravenclaw on top but having a quiet year at the school was good enough for him. Himself and Kailey and their team of prefects had done an awesome job this year.

The feast began and he tucked in, allowing himself to wonder once more just what the future held in store for him.

Carmen entered the great hall and went directly to the Slytherin table to sit near Kaleb. She 'people watched' for a moment as others entered and took their seats as well and realised that she was not just watching them but ticking off in her head just who she considered now to be muggleborns and who she considered to be of a purer ilk. She found more and more that it galled her that she could have been a pureblood if only her father had listened to his father. These thoughts had intruded on her time and again of late and now that it was end of the school year and she had to return to Germany once again, she knew exactly what had to be done once and for all concerning her parents.

The thought of crushing them and sending them out into the world penniless had come to mind but so had many others. Her gaze drifted to the Gryffindor table to the strange girl she had encountered late one evening in the restricted section of the library. Her amber eyes seemed to sense Carmen looking at her and instantly they were staring at one another. Carmen merely nodded her head in the girls direction, too subtle to be noticed really but it was made all the same. The pale Gryffindor did likewise in return and a set of events were set into motion.

Carmen turned then to listen to the headmaster and smiled as he announced their house had won the house cup. She was above cheering like a lunatic but she did clap politely, turning to smile at Kaleb as she did so. He was indeed the best thing that had ever happened to her and true they would not see one another for much of the vacation but it was just as well really. When the time came she would send for him, invite him to stay at the Peregrine Estate where they would hopefully have the complete run of the place to themselves.

It had been a wonderful first year at Hogwarts for Riley. It hardly seemed like it had only been a year at all. She had made so many new friends that she knew she would never forget and had even enjoyed some of the classes, not that she would openly admitt that to anyone. Sitting at the Hufflepuff table, Riley looked around to see if she could spot any of her friends, Sam, Leia or perhaps even Nia. As the food arived Riley licked her lips it all looked so good, settling for a nice vegetarian meal, she hoped the meat wouldn't put her off too much. The Great Hall looked beautiful and Riley felt honored to be sitting at the Hufflepuff table. Next year would be another big year "Fifth year here I come" she said chuckling a little. Riley smiled and listened to the speech she would remember for the rest of her life.
