Closed The Domestic Life

After Stefans' wild days as a youth, and his two resulting children, he'd never imagined he'd end up married with a third. And yet here he was, having cut back on his hours drastically. Between Valerius and a trusted board of hand picked advisors to help run his company, Stefan found he'd had a lot more time now for his new life. His new wife, really, and their adorable baby girl. He was trying to be more involved this time- he'd had a nanny for Valerius, and he hadn't realized he'd had Kiara until she was much older. Now he was sitting in the arm chair in the living room of his skyrise penthouse, humming a soft lullaby as he bottle fed little Lucia.

To be honest, Sarah never thought she'd reach this point in her life. She'd never imagined herself being up to the point where she finally had a family of her own. Having a family of her own was something that she had always dreamed of. Sarah thought she'd spend the rest of her life as a preschool teacher, and she was okay with that. But no, Sarah was in fact absolutely happy with where she was with her life. She had a husband whom she loved deeply, and now she had a child of her own.

Sarah had been lying in bed, and the long nights of helping the baby had taken over her, and she ended up sleeping in a lot longer than she wanted to. She had woken up by the light of the sunrise slowly sweeping up into the sky. Sarah had found the bed empty beside her, which made her frown a little, but she realised her husband was most likely with Lucia. She stretched herself out of bed before tiredly padding her way into the living room. Sarah was quiet for a moment, enjoying the sight that was before her. She felt bad for interrupting the moment. "She wasn't up for too long, was she? I'm sorry, I should've woken up sooner," Sarah says softly as she makes her way towards Stefan, rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes.

Stefan looked up when he heard his wife speak, smiling softly. "Yes, because feeding a baby is so much harder than running a corporation," He teased her gently. "I was awake, darling, I can let my beautiful wife get some sleep and feed our little angel," He reassured her, tilting his head in a quiet request for a kiss. "You know she loves her daddy."

Sarah sent Stefan an tired smile, shaking head fondly before giving him a gentle kiss. "Still feel bad though" Sarah mutters tiredly as she rubs her husbands shoulder gently as she then looks at their daughter, appreciating that he had given her a little longer to sleep in. "She sure does love her dad though" Sarah says with a small smile, as she then sits comfortably down on the arm of the armchair, her arm wrapped around Stefan. "Any plans for you today?"

Stefan leant a bit into Sarah, not wanting to disturb Lucia too much as she drank her bottle, little hands wrapped around it and eyes half shut. "I thought we should go to the park. Maybe the beach," He offered. "Take a picnic lunch and just enjoy the sun." He smiled, tilting his head back to look up at Sarah. "Getting some time outside would be good for us."

Sarah gives Stefan a soft smile as he tells her his thoughts about today's plan. "That sounds lovely" Sarah says softly, as she gently rubs her husband's back. She was content with that idea. "I'm sure Lucia would love that" Sarah says with a soft smile, as she then lets her free hand caress her daughter's cheek a little. She couldn't believe how beautiful her daughter is. "Not going into the office today, then?" Sarah says as she looks at Stefan again.
