Eros not yet made anytime to explore the castle since he arrived here. With so many classes he was taking, and assignment given, the young boy found it hard to make any time for himself. The towers were so far up first of all, so to make time you need to know where ya were going. Second, he's buried in work and writing his parents every week keeping them up in contact when he felt needed a little more explaining with his assignment. He's making his first year difficult than it should be. But can ya blame him? Eros, the youngest, the last in his family to take on Hogwarts, and only one attending the sister school. That's pressure, everyone's life all figured out but him. That's when he said enough was enough, and left the towers for some fresh air, distraction. Eros, out of robes stuffed his hands into his pockets, strolling the great lawn. It was nice out, pleasant. Great day for a walk, so he walked. Humming a tune, waving at few housemates he's become acquainted with, taking a detour about the great lawn.

Perseas was so busy with his classes as a seventh year preparing for his NEWTs, that hadn't properly welcomed the first years this semesters. It was a tradition for him and his best friend Rafael to prank a few, unlucky first years during the first week. The freshers weren't get used to their new home and mostly muggleborns looked quite intimidated. It was a shame that this batch of first years weren't going to have a taste of his resourceful pranks but the seventh year Gryffindor had given priority to his education.

He had heard a thousand times his mother saying that if he was a little bit more studious, he would have been a distinguished student. He was a bright individual but he wasn't putting his mind to something useful or productive.
Fortunately, he was a fast learner and the little time he was investing on revision was barely adequate to grant him good grades most of the time. Even though he had a long essay on lethifolds to finish that day, he decided to postpone it for later and instead get out of the castle. It was a nice sunny morning that could only be enjoyed at the wider range of the school's grounds.

The seventh year had left his common room with the package that had been arrived yesterday with the morning owl. Brightstone's joke shops should credit a part of their profit to him. Perseas was also owning a membership card offering him great deals and discounts so new orders were arriving each week. This time around he hadn't ordered anything fancy like the weather in a bottles he had been ordering the past few weeks cause he had decided to have fun without attracting to much unwanted attention.

He spent some time digging with a shovel taken from the greenhouses, a hole in the ground just at the entrance of the gardens. He topped the half meter deep hole with dungbombs before covering it with a white sheet. He cast a disillusionment charm and the cloth took the same earthy color and texture of the dirt. His devious half smile cracked on his face when he show that it wasn't distinguishable. Then he opened he unwrapped his new package and his smile widened at the sight of a box of soldier in parade.

It included a set of soldier miniatures. Four were colored in hand in black and white but the fifth, the commander was red. The four underlings were charmed to follow the commander wherever he was placed. These little, innocent looking toys were going to become his decoys. So he placed the red one at the edge of the concealed hole of dugbombs, casting a freezing charm on it to remain stationary and then left with the other four for the open grounds.

People were out for a walk, to enjoy the sun and Perseas was scanning for his potential victim. He spotted a first year casually walking around and decided on him. Making sure he wasn't noticed, he ran a circle to preceded the first year and placed the four soldiers on the grass. They started slowly walking, facing towards the garden's direction where their superior was located, immobilized under the effect of the freezing charm. He then sneaked back to the gardens unseen to take cover behind some bush. From there he could see the red soldier miniature standing still in the middle of the path. The other four soldiers should be moving but slowly, heading this way. The first year should come across them. Perseas hoped he was curious enough to follow them. They were light enough to move on the sheet without betraying what was lying beneath. It would collapse though under the weight of a person and that was exactly what Perseas was expecting to see from luring the first year there. He remained lurking behind the bushes, excited with anticipation.

Finding distraction came almost in a trip, his eyes had missed what was underneath him. Before he'd fall on his belly, he found his footing again. It's not like he was distracted by anything magical, no, but what stopped him going any further may have been? Eros, stepped over the toys soldiers, they were the toys that came in packages that muggel boys back home would often buy collecting them by the bag. He never saw what was so special about these toys soldiers. These plastics things were a nuisance. They don't move, they don't do anything, Eros never saw the appeal to them, of course when you come from all things magic, toy soldiers were bland inanimate objects. Not like this one though, Eros looked closer. His foot a moment ago hovered over one, but now it was gone..sort of.

Eros looked around, and heading towards the garden, he spotted them. Eros followed right behind them, they were slow moving in a way, but if you looked away just for a minute, you just might missed them. "Is this even real?" Eros mumbled, he saw no one around controlling them. He'd search around, looking for someone with a wand in their hands, but there was no one controlling them. Eros curious how was this possible, followed the toy soldiers as they moved across the path. If not control, what was it making them move? That's what the raven would like to know, keeping an eye out just in case it. He's not stupid that he follows, only curious to see what happens.
