Tamalia sighed as she entered the Kaster Manor, it was holidays now, and she had been home for a little bit, mainly because she was expelled and now her life was officially ruined. Not only had her wand been sent to the ministry so it could be destroyed, but she also had to face everyone, because she never did say goodbye to Sammy before she left, and Amanra probably didn't even know. Lisa was furious, in fact, she was sure her older sister would have killed her if it weren't for Tess offering to take her back to the shop and watch her, but over there Tamalia ended up being scolded often anyway, so it wasn't much of a change. The ex-Gryffindor wished that she could live with Jack, he couldn't complain about her, because he'd ran away and left the family alone to mourn, so he couldn't say a damn thing against her. Smiling weakly as she walked through the old hallways of the house she'd grown to like, she stopped at a photo of her parents. They looked so happy, moving around, her father trying to open a bottle of wine the muggle way, while her mother was laughing her head off watching the grown man fail at it, since he'd never opened a bottle before, not the muggle way anyway. Tamalia found herself laughing slightly when she looked at another photo hanigng on the wall, one of a seven year old Samual, smiling a cheesy grin, and then tripping over. Priceless. There were a few other photos hanging on the wall, but Tamalia's attention was taken away by the fake that she'd heard her name called.

Sheepishly, the somewhat blonde entered the lounge room, finding Lisa sitting on one of the lounges, and Jack sitting happily on the coffee table, a habit Lisa dispised, but rarely mentioned. Today everyone seemed to be in a good mood, mostly because they weren't sure when Sammy would show up, and since he usually became upset if he saw them fighting, no-one yelled or argued in his prescence, it hurt them all to see him cry. "Hey guys." She said quietly, walking over and sitting on the other lounge, looking for Hamish, Bethany and Lucy. "Hey, where's Ham, Beth and Lulu?" She asked quietly, those three sure knew how to run around.

Lisa sighed and closed her book, putting it back on the shelf and sat quietly on the lounge. She was still considering what she should do with that sister of hers, she was acting more like an animal than the intelligent young girl she was led to believe existed. But by the actions she had taken as of late, Lisa was tempted to question whether Tamalia was doing this for attention or not. Tamalia had never really been an attention seeker, she was more of a wall flower, and even though she dressed like she wanted to be noticed, Lisa knew that she just liked being herself. So when Lisa got word that she was expelled for fighting, and then found her on her doorstep, looking very sorry for herself, Lisa could have killed her. There was no explaination for what she had done, sure, the other girl was apparently a horrible girl, she'd gotten enough letters from Samual and Nadia to realise that the other girl was probably the scum of the Earth, but Tamalia attacking her just made her worse. What was worse than scum? Lisa wasn't sure, but she wasn't going to allow Tamalia to act like she'd done nothing wrong,. because her actions were very wrong, and since taking over from their late parents, Lisa wasn't going to allow Tamalia to throw her life away because she was impulsive and arrogant.

Lisa nodded to Jack, who had decided to take a seat-on the coffee table. "Jack." She growled, looking up at the so called adult. "Get off the coffee table, I will not allow you to be seen doing that by the younger ones, they'll get bad ideas." By 'younger ones', Lisa meant Hamish, Bethany and Lucy. Lisa was about to futher scold the blonde, but she heard a noise from the other room, and it caught her attention. Her face brightened slightly when she saw Tamalia, she'd already torn strips from her, and she was going to repeat herself a little later, but right now she was trying to stay in a good mood so then she could happily greet Nadia and Samual, it wouldn't be fair on them if they copped her when she was angry. "Hello Tamalia, it's good that you decided to come back." She commented, standing up and pushing Jack off of the coffee table. "I said get off." She added, rolling her eyes. Brothers. "I'm not sure where they are, they'll come in when everyone else is here, they always show up someday." That was the only answer the older woman felt like giving, she was disappointed in her younger sister, how she could act so stupidly was beyond the Squibs understanding, especially since Tamalia was supposed to be intelligent. Lisa questioned it.

Jack rolled his emerald eyes at his sister, she could be a bossy boots, and he wasn't going to allow her to take control of him. The Beater loved his siste,r but sometimes she could press every button he had, and he'd just decide to totally ignore her, because she didn't have to annoy him so much. Hamish, Bethany and Lucy would not sit on a coffee table, they were too small to effectively pull offf the move for starters. It was about time that he'd had some time off, since everything in the Quidditch world had settled down, it was training time, but Jack wasn't one for too much training, so he often skipped out to hang out with friends, and in this case, family. A smile crossed his face when he realised that he'd neglected to inform them about Danika and him, something that he should say, but right now wasn't the appropriate time, Lisa appeared happy, but he knew that she was fuming on the inside, he'd known her too long, the others might not realise, but Jack knew, he always did. When he was pushed off of the cottee table, he frowned and took a seat on the lounge. "Rude person." He commented. Jack then smiled slightly at Tama, everyone was going so hard on her, it wasn't her fault, she was just an emotional person, sticking up for herself, sure, what she did was wrong, but Jack could understand why she did it, and to him it was a pretty good reason, he trusted her not to lie to any of them.

"My thoughts exactly, they'll come when they wish, don't rush them or they'll cry." The young ones were four now, so they were still very young and often broke down in tears for apparnelty no reason, it was just natural. "The real question is if Tess will show up, and if so, will lie Rafaelle and Parker be here too?" This question was to Lisa, who usually organised these, since she knew where everyone was and she was the head of the house, it was espected for her to contact everyone.

Holidays now. All the school kids would be getting out of school. Tamalia, Nadia, Sammy. Things were going to be alot different this time though, even after the usual routine. It was hard really, realising the kind of trouble Tamalia had been in, though Hayden didn't understand it herself. It wasn't her place. Her role in the family was sort of the moral support. Giving advice when it was called for. The sort of thing a coucellor would do, even though she was a lawyer most of the time. She was on leave for a couple of weeks now, before she went back to her sometimes boring job. Being a divorce lawyer sometimes had its perks, but sometimes it could be one hell of a job, especially when it was a really bad break up. She had been through plenty of those in her time, and now she worked through them with clients. She shook her head at the irony, she had found the love of her life, she was fine with the fact that Lucy wasn't technically hers, but that was just formality. She knew Lucy since she was a baby, a fact that she was sure pissed the father off, but that didn't concern her. The Maxwell case had been a rather distressing one, but it had brought her together with Lisa, so she was invariably happy, why wouldn't she be, she loved Lisa. That was how it was always going to be, even if they weren't married. Though, she had to wonder if maybe it was a Kaster trait, Tess and Parker weren't married. She smiled at the thought of maybe finally getting to meet Rafaelle. She had heard from Lisa that he was a gorgeous baby, but she still wanted to see for herself, just to be sure Lisa was being truthful, though of course she didn't doubt her.

Lucy, Beth and Hamish ran around frantically playing with all the toys she had recently bought. She smiled at them and ushered them closer to her. "Alright, I think its time we head down to the lounge room, maybe everyone will be home by now." She told them. They had been hankering out for the return of their families since the end of the holidays, so they would be excited. The three jumped around and danced excitedly as they ran to the slides to get down to the first floor. Hayden shook her head. Those kids were really rather lazy. Hayden followed the young ones down the stairs, occassionally making sure they hadn't stopped at the wrong floor and entered the loungeroom, nodding at Tamalia and Jack as she did so. Lucy, Beth and Hamish ran around Tamalia occassionally tapping her and running in the opposite direction. Bursts of energy they were. She then leaned down and kissed Lisa lightly on the cheek before sitting in one of the free arm chairs, her eyes focused on Lisa. She could see the anger on her face, below the surface and bubbling below her eyes. It would be scary if she released all her anger now, something Hayden hoped didn't happen. She didn't feel like having a calming session right now, she wasn't up for it. She didn't have the energy. "I'm sure if they were coming they will be here. You know what they are like. Sometimes it takes them hours to make a decision and then its too late. Especially now with the baby and all."
