Although Effie probably had grading or something along those lines to be doing she opted against it all and decided to meet an old friend somewhere in New Zealand. Fletcher Bennet was probably one of the few actual friends that she had kept once she had graduated and moved away from her family, the two of them were actually more competitive with each other than they were friendly. 'I really should be grading papers.' Effie stopped near the corner of a building that she hoped Fletcher would recognize well enough so that she wouldn't have to feel bad for getting him lost or giving out bad directions that he couldn't follow.
Recently becoming a Arithmancy Professor at Hogwarts took up a lot of her time, plus on top of that her niece Alyssa had recently moved in with her to get away from Alphonse's demanding nature, not that she could blame her. All of it was adding onto Effie and she seriously needed just one day out with a familiar face so she wouldn't go crazy when she had to go back to the school to teach classes. 'I wonder what he's been up to lately actually.' Effie knew he had always been into Quidditch, but wondered if he was still playing for his team or if he had decided to do something else in his life, she wondered if he would laugh when he found out she became a teacher.
