Veronique stood near the entrance to the Great Hall, nervous as she waited for her boyfriend. She had made numerous suggestions to Cameron about awesome couple costume ideas just two weeks after they started dating. She'd finally just told him that they should do something simple yet comical - dressing up as another house. Veronique had suggested Gryffindor, and while she'd even gone out of her way to acquire him a Gryffindor sweater and bribed a Slytherin second-year boy to put it in Cameron's bedroom, she'd be okay if he just showed up as something other than Slytherin. But still on theme, of course. She tried to stand as if she wasn't waiting for someone and was more so admiring the dance. Cameron and she had only been dating a few weeks, and she didn't want to seem needy or anything when he arrived.
