Amable had had to postpone the third TriWizard task a week and several days, which he knew had mad the champions quite anxious, but he had we left with no choice at the time. With a recent insurgence of Death Eater activity in France he had determined the safety of the school was far more important than ensuring the tasks took place on time. It was now time for the final task. The champions were still unaware of scoring from the previous task, and had received no clue for this upcoming one. Amable smiled as he stood up on the judging stand. He was on the side of a large circular field with school-coloured stands all around it. It looked very much like a Quidditch pitch, but it was a circle, not an oval, and there were no goal hoops on it. The champions were each standing on one portion of the circle, still quite unaware of their task - having only been instructed to bring their wands (a comment many of them scoffed at).

Raising his hands to silence the crowd Amable smiled charmingly out, as if glancing across the crowd and looking as if he were speaking to a single individual, a close friend. "Bonjour, encore une fois, mes étudiants et invités d'honneur. Bienvenue à la troisième tâche du Tournoi des Trois Sorciers!" He began in French, for his students, before he once more returned to English with his French accent for the guests. "Welcome to the third task of the TriWizard Tournament! We will begin immeadiatly following these updated scores from the last task." At this he turned to the headmistress from Durmstrang who handed him an envelope, with a TriWizard seal still unbroken on it. He opened the envelope then read its contents to the crowd. "The outcome of the task was as follows: the champion of Hogwarts New Zealand achieved third rank for five points. The champion of Durmstrang received second rank, with five bonus points for spectacular style, giving a total of fifteen points. This leaves the champion of Beauxbatons in first place, also receiving fifteen points." The crowd erupted with sounds of sheer joy and excitement as it was acknowledged that Aubrey was still in first place, though it was evident that Moko still lead the scoreboard and a lot came down to this task. Everything, in fact, came down to this task.

"Mes amis, this third and final task is the most difficult and dangerous yet. There are many obstacles, but the chief obstacle in it for our champions are their fellow champions. This is a three way duel, each champion battling for themselves, for their school, and for the hopes of achieving their dream of the being the winner of this TriWizard Tournament!" The crowd erupted at this, too, from all sides of what now was made clear to be a duelling circle on the ground as the champions readied themselves for the battle which was to ensure.

OOC Task Rules:
[ol][li]All characters are only permitted to use their wands during the task.
[li]Duelling Rules (link) numbers one through nine apply to this duel, with an alteration on rule 9 stating that once one opponent is knocked out they are removed by a medical wizard. No more spells may be cast on them.
[li]Duelling Points (link) will be used in this task for your roleplays. When you run out of points, your character is vulnerable to be hit by any spell.
[li]If a champion does not reply to a spell being cast at them within two days OOC from the post where it is cast at them, then it assumed to have hit them (so as not to hold up the role play).
[li]If you dispute action in a post, or think it was not proper, report the post for admin attention.

[li]The goal of the task is to be the last witch (or wizard) standing.[/li][/ol]
