Closed Taking The Chance

The last time Anna went to any dances, her stepbrother got mad at her and she wasn't even sure why. So usually she was just sitting in the common room but well, Anna had met a girl she found pretty cool even if she was quiet and well, not the sweetest person but Annabeth found her as a fun person. So she hoped that maybe she could see Kiasora here, not exactly sure where else she could meet her. And then she finally saw her, and immediately felt like she had to dress up but since they were back at the school only for a month and Anna had spent her whole break at the photoshoots and didn't want to spend time dressing up again. "Hey, Kiasora, you look amazing," Anna finally talked to her and put a strand of her own hair behind her ear.

If there was one thing she had never been expecting, it was that Zelda would have sent her a dress. Needing to prove that it wasn't a waste, Kia had gotten dressed and walked down to the Great Hall for the dance. Why she was there, she wasn't sure. She was looking around, hoping perhaps that she might see Leia somewhere, when she was approached by someone else entirely. Kia blinked, surprised at her current company. "Oh, hello Annabeth." She greeted almost cordially. "Er- you look nice as well?" She offered almost stiffly. She was trying to be nice, even if it sounded a bit stilted.

Anna got excited when Kia remembered her name and then checked out that purple actually suited her perfectly. However, she just took a second to realize that the girl called her by her full name and almost frowned a bit and then just went on like "whatever". "Thank you,' she smiled widely, she loved getting dressed up but being dressed up casual felt better. "So, what are the goods here? Haven't been to the dances since my first year," Anna laughed a bit, looking around, hoping that Kiasora would show or tell her about what they had to offer there.

Kia hesitated as Annabeth asked what they had at the dance. "Well... you could dance," She offered uncertainly. "Or we could get snacks and some drinks, go sit down and watch the dance?" She thought aloud, looking around. "Looks like Mary Lou and Wendall are having some drama, a first year just creamed another with cupcakes, I see at least four different people that look like they're about to cry," She observed easily.
