Viktor Styx patrolled along the fifth corridor, away from the assigned partner since this was not the scheduled time, of course. Viktor shoved his hands into his pocket, very relieved that he remained under the radar enough not to be chosen as Head Boy. He didn’t really want to be Prefect, but that was out of his control. He continued to walk along the corridor, near the wall, as he did not want to draw any attention to himself. Viktor kept his eyes peeled on the students that walked in the middle of the day, some rushing to their class and others chatting. He did not have a class for another hour or two, so this was killing time. So long as he was not bothered.

With some free time on her hand, Chante decided to visit her mom outside the school. Typically near the herbology's greenhouse is where you would find the tall woman. The former Gryffindor was usually preparing her lesson for the week or looking after a creature that was under her care. Chante hopes it was the latter, she was growing fond of the creatures her mother taught her students. She was starting to see why her mother cared so much about them, especially those that were vulnerable amongst their kind. Distracted from her thoughts, Chante turns the corner and felt a presence on her back push the Hufflepuff over. It happened so quick, she was being pushed over and felt a set of lips squish onto her own. It happened so quickly, the presence was gone. Chante took a step back feeling a flush rise against her cheeks, she had kissed someone. And not just anyone, Viktor Styx. "I'm sorry! S-something pushed me..."

Soonkyu had been on her way to try and find her baby sister. She had news after all and it had seemed important that she relate the information. Once along the fifth floor corridor though, the Slytherin spied a familiar face. She didn’t care hugely for Viktor although she was quite smug with herself after getting him to actually speak to her, but that was when she spotted another prefect. They were just everywhere, flaunting their badges around as though it made them better than everyone else. Soonkyu didn’t know the name of the girl, but that didn’t stop her from walking up behind her and accidentaly pushing her with enough force that she ended up colliding with the Ravenclaw. Just as quickly as she had done so, she pulled away to watch the scene unravel. It was true she hadn’t intended to watch the girl practical eat the poor boys face off, but it was amusing none the less. Serves them right really for becoming notable members at the school, heck it would be the talk to the town. “Moving on a bit from just chatting aren’t you?” She jested at the boy, curious if he’d try and defend himself.

The Ravenclaw was just minding his own business, closing his eyes for a minute or two. That is, until he felt a crushing mouth on his own. His dark eyes shot open to see who it was, before changing from shock to absolute disgust. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, and then heard her stammering apology and reasoning. His eyes landed on the culprit, before narrowing them. While he could pull out his wand and curse her into next week without blinking an eye, Viktor remained silent. 'Bloody disgusting. And with a disgusting half-breed nonetheless. Not even the good looking ones.' Viktor bit his tongue, fighting his urge to fight the both of them. What was the purpose of that stunt? He folded his arms across his chest, his hardened face demanding an explanation.

Chante cranes her neck to the sound of a voice coming from behind her. It wasn't a visible force that caused the girl to practically trip over a fellow prefect. A girl, about their age, had a smug look on her face that read guilty to Chante. Calmly she averted her gaze from the girl, avoiding the silent brooding of Viktor's. "I should go, I'm sorry again..," Chante fled from the scene, as fast as her long legs can carry her. Her entire body was shaking, and all she thought about was running, running and never stopping. The good thing about Viktor is that he never says anything. If she knew anything at all about the Styxs, is that some held prejudiced views about her kind. Chante couldn't put herself to imagine what was going through Viktor Styx's head. It's best she left or the first time she hears him speak would be nothing but venom spewing from his lips.

Soonkyu hadn't honestly expected that to go as well as it had. It wasn't her fault Chante was so tall after all. That didn't mean she didn't notice that glare that Viktor was sending her way and the raised her eyebrows with a shrug, "Don't look at me like that! How was I meant to know she'd land on you!" she may have given her a bit of a nudge, but it was ultimately the Hufflepuff who had kissed him. She also didn't expect the girl to run off as quickly as she had, leaving the seventh years to themselves again. She knew that some pure bloods didn't enjoy mixing with those who shared mixed blood, but it wasn't like they were about to have a child together now. "I don't know what your problem is," she stated, crossing her arms over her chest and feigning ignorance.

The Hufflepuff was correctly running away from the pair. Though, Viktor had his attention on Soonkyu right now. And she was feigning ignorance. Viktor could just tell that she was lying. It was within his gut, and that made him angrier than ever. He pulled out his wand and pointed it at her for a moment. Sighing, he lowered it and started to walk away. The less drama, the better for him. This was his final year. He didn't need this. He knew what he needed. He knew who he needed.
