[Lumos Walden-Cade]

Lumos had wondered if Jonah’s parents were even going to let him out of the house.He wasn’t sure how Jonah managed to get his parents to let him out but with them now at the aquarium, Lumos looked around at some of the fish. “We can do whatever you want to do today, so what do you want to see first?”

A date! Sure he and Lumos have gone on dates before but this was outside the castle and they were going to an aquarium which was awesome! “Jellyfish!” he said excitedly, flushed and almost bouncing on his toes as he pulled Lumos along, their fingers intertwined. It just made sense he pull his boyfriend along since most of the signages were in Nihongo.

Lumos loved the little clip in Jonah's hair, but he didn't comment on it incase Jonah got shy - which he tended to do whenever Lumos pointed something out, so he had gotten into the habit of not pointing things out on his boyfriend at all. He held Jonah's hand tightly as they headed to the jelly fish, and he watched the other fish as they ran past them. Everything looked so interesting.​

"Did you know they glow in the dark?" Jonah told his boyfriend excitedly and began to chatter about random facts on jellyfish and then starfish and then a few other fish that he'd read up on, occasionally stuttering on some English words since most of the things he'd read up on had been in Japanese from their extensive library back home. "And apparently there's this one shark type that can live up to like three hundred and-," Jonah hadn't realized just how long he'd been chattering for and they were in the large aquarium tunnel now where there were all sorts of fish and sharks swimming around and overhead but he must have been chattering for a long time and when he'd realized that, his face heated up into a very nice blushing red.

Lumos grinned as he watched Jonah, he was glad his boyfriend was happy, even if he didn't get what the whole thing about the fish was - since he'd never really cared about fish before honestly. But, if it was what Jonah liked, then it was what Jonah liked. And that was enough for him. He laughed slightly when Jonah cut himself off. "You don't have to stop talking you know, I like listening to you talk."

Jonah was still blushing because apparently he'd been talking for... how long has it been since they'd been at the jellyfish? That had been a while, right? "Are you sure I haven't talked your ears off about aquatic animals yet?" he said sheepishly. It wasn't even that this was new; Jonah did have a tendency to chatter about things, but that hadn't happened in a while. He'd really only done it... was it before Hogwarts? So with family? He didn't think there'd been anything he would chatter about in school aside from Care of Magical Creatures and maybe Quidditch. "Are you having fun though?" he said, just a little bit worriedly as he bit his lip. This was their first date outside of the school, and he'd dressed up a little for it, and he'd been having so much fun in the aquarium, and he'd been trying to show Lumos around, so hopefully his boyfriend was also having fun.

"I like listening to you talk so even if you talk my ear off, I don't mind. I like the sound of your voice." He liked what he was wearing too, but it was another one of those things where he didn't want Jonah to get all shy, so he just brushed his hand against the flat of the top part of his outfit, before he could say anything else. "And yeah, course I'm having fun - I like spending time with you, and that's all I really need to have fun on any time of day."

Even though he knew that Lumos was trying not to get him all shy, it was impossible not to blush when he was getting complimented by his boyfriend, the blush reaching all the way up his ears when Lumos touched his clothes. He looked around, and well, since nobody was paying attention to both of them, he leaned closer to Lumos and pressed a kiss to his cheek—eyes closed, one hand clutched to his chest, and a fierce blush on his face. It wasn't like he'd never kissed Lumos before, but... well, it was just different today and here in the aquarium. "I... I like spending time with you too!"

Lumos thought it was really sweet that Jonah wanted to spend time with him. After all, spending time with his boyfriend was a pastime he should enjoy, right? That's what he thought, anyway. He moved his arm over Jonah's shoulder to pull him close, into a kind of one armed hug. Just so he knew that he appreciated it and everything. "We can have lunch at the little cafe they have out the other side. I heard they have some really nice food there, what do you think?"
