As busy as Lizzie's work schedule kept her, overwhelmingly she found there wasn't a single moment she wasn't enjoying. Professional Quidditch was different from playing for a school team, without a doubt, but Lizzie had taken to the practice schedule and international matches with glee, enjoying the opportunities to hone her skills and travel around the world. And when she had time at home, working part-time at the family business just felt like home. It was home, of course, but teaching ski lessons brought Lizzie back to her childhood, following her dad around the slopes as he taught their guests, and she thoroughly enjoyed passing that information on to others.
But today was special. Today Lizzie got to combine one of her favourite jobs with one of her favourite things to do in her free time. Spending time with Daisy. Lizzie had spent more of her teens than she cared to admit imagining what her future girlfriend would be like, but none of the girls of her dreams could have ever held a candle to the girlfriend she had wound up with. It felt like every stride she took, Daisy was there to meet her. Every whim that caught her fancy, Daisy was along for the ride. And every time she fell down, Daisy was there to help her back up. Lizzie didn't know how she had gotten so lucky. Today, though, it was Lizzie's turn to help Daisy when she fell. Adjusting the last strap of Daisy's skis, Lizzie stood back up with a bright grin. "Alright, you're officially ready to go." She said cheerfully. "Just try moving forward on the flat, get a feel for them."
