As busy as Lizzie's work schedule kept her, overwhelmingly she found there wasn't a single moment she wasn't enjoying. Professional Quidditch was different from playing for a school team, without a doubt, but Lizzie had taken to the practice schedule and international matches with glee, enjoying the opportunities to hone her skills and travel around the world. And when she had time at home, working part-time at the family business just felt like home. It was home, of course, but teaching ski lessons brought Lizzie back to her childhood, following her dad around the slopes as he taught their guests, and she thoroughly enjoyed passing that information on to others.

But today was special. Today Lizzie got to combine one of her favourite jobs with one of her favourite things to do in her free time. Spending time with Daisy. Lizzie had spent more of her teens than she cared to admit imagining what her future girlfriend would be like, but none of the girls of her dreams could have ever held a candle to the girlfriend she had wound up with. It felt like every stride she took, Daisy was there to meet her. Every whim that caught her fancy, Daisy was along for the ride. And every time she fell down, Daisy was there to help her back up. Lizzie didn't know how she had gotten so lucky. Today, though, it was Lizzie's turn to help Daisy when she fell. Adjusting the last strap of Daisy's skis, Lizzie stood back up with a bright grin. "Alright, you're officially ready to go." She said cheerfully. "Just try moving forward on the flat, get a feel for them."

Daisy watched as Lizzie adjusted her strap on her skis, smiling at the beautiful lady in front of her. Life was definitely better than it had ever been before, and that was saying a lot because Daisy loved being at Hogwarts. But now, she was training a bunch of doggos as her job, and she had the most amazing girlfriend. Yes, this definitely was the best life. Even though Lizzie traveled a lot for her job, it was okay with Daisy, as she was an independent person anyway; however she was ecstatic whenever the woman came back.
Daisy had never done skiing before. She had no idea what to do, or how to do it, but nodded her head with confidence when Lizzie told her to move forward. "Easy!" Daisy exclaimed as she lifted one foot as if to take a step. It was like walking in flippers. "Does walking backwards make it easier?" Daisy asked, moving her foot backwards, feeling her body wavering as she tried to hold herself upright.

Lizzie laughed softly as she watched Daisy try to take her first steps, reaching out to grab the other girl's hand before she could get herself into a position to topple over. "Walking isn't so much on the agenda." She said with a grin, releasing Daisy's hand again to hand her the poles. "It's all about the sliding motion, think ice skating on really long skates. Use the poles to push yourself forward and slide across the snow, gentle at first." Lizzie took a step back, keeping an eye on Daisy to make sure she was steady. Once she was confident Daisy wasn't going to tip over any time soon she took a few steps back, standing a few metres away. "Come kiss me." She said with a grin, holding her arms wide. There were definite perks to teaching her girlfriend.
