Katya honestly still wasn't really happy about being at Hogwarts, it was one big, frustrating and overly crowded place. Tho, she had to come to the Yule Ball, no way she was going to miss a chance to show off that she is the future queen of the school, she was going to own it one day and everyone had to know her. So here she was, she dressed up some light flowery dress and let her hair down carefully. She actually still didn't really know anyone in this school, so looked like she had to do at least something to meet someone, tho not right now. She was trying out all the sweets that school had to offer and watched how cool the decorations were.

Sky couldn't believe that it was almost scristmas. it was so much different to Christmas at home. at home it was cold and dark with the not having risen for around a month, but the atmosphere was so kosilige with the smell of baking, the sparkly lights, warm clothes, and the general magic of Christmas. it was weird that despite being in a magic school as opposed to her mostly muggle home town she was missing the magic of it. here it was warm and sunny, the middle of summer. it just wasn't the same.
Sky made her way to the great hall. after the debacle at halloween she had learned not to underdress for the schools festivities. she had donned a pale blue dress as she made her way to the feast. the decorations were festive but not Festive. more summery than Christmas. she would have to check them out later. she made a bee kine for the sweets and started putting some on her plate. Hello, are these everyflavoug or just jellybrans" she called over the noice os music trellising that the other girl had been in some of her classed though she couldn't remember the class, her name or even her house.

Katya was just about to throw several beans in when she heard a new voice. She gave a light fake smile at the girl that joined her as she tried to recognize the girl but the only thing that she actually remembers was that this girl didn't use her real name. "Every flavor," Katya pointed at the beans that she took and then pointed at the ones next to them. "These are non-magical ones," she explained. "I'm Katarina," to be honest, Katya hated when someone out of her family called her Katya, in this situation she preferred being called Rina.

Niamh nodded as the girl said that they were every flavour. she picked up a small plate and put a few on there she picked up one "now is this apple or slime" she said taking a bite of a bright green one "hmm, pear" she said glad it hadn't been anything gross
it was a relief that the girl introduced herself as she didn't know her name and felt like after a semester of classes it may be getting a bit impolite to ask. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sky" she said "[/b] i like your dress"[/b] she said. it was a nice dress and she wasn't sure what else to say to keep the conversation going at least a little more.
