Artemisa Luciana Raven was utterly bored of school these days. It was probably not the best time to get bored in all honesty but really, school is just... well... boring. Sure there were a couple of classes that she did like. A lot of things in classes just seems so dull without Coco - her twin - around to talk with during classes. It was a mercy that Potions was a class they had together. Aside from not having Felicita around most times though, there was also not having Tiziano around the castle that was a total bummer. Misa just couldn't wait till the following school year when Picco would finally be sorted and would be joining them. Sure it was fun having Roto, Coco and Corey around, but without Picco, it just seemed a little lacking. It definitely helped though that she was letters from the younger boy. Granted it was a little bit hard to understand at first but she definitely got the hang of reading Picco's letters by now. Wanting to do a drawing for the boy though, Artemisa had made her way to the Cliffs this afternoon. She knew that it was kinda, sorta off limits to be there but it wasn't like she particularly cared either. Besides, it was a nice place to be with the cool wind, sun and wonderful view. Settling herself on the grass near the edge, Misa brought out her art supplies - a set of colored pencils, pens, and pastels and her sketchbook - then got to work. Yep, this was definitely a good day to draw.

Hades Styx the Third walked along the cliffs, gazing over them with his dark silver eyes. It was odd to think that his family was pretty much everywhere he looked. Even Cyrus was related by adoption. The younger ones were too many to even name or keep up with. Hades knew that being here would be off limits, but he did not care either. His dark eyes rested on another figure that was on the cliffs. First year. He could tell by the age. He walked up and sat down behind her, and leaned over a little bit to see what she was doing. A little artist, eh? This was entertaining. He rested his arm on his thigh, so he could prop his head up. His black hair moved over half of his face while doing so. How long would it take before she would notice what he was doing? He started to count the seconds.

Artemisa was so engrossed with her work that everything else was a distant buzz in the background. It was always like that when she drew, probably why all of her siblings had given up on catching her attention whenever she was drawing or sketching. Things outside the sketch simply did not matter at that moment. And so the Gryffindor kept sketching and colouring, switching between different materials without fail and completely unaware of the figure that had approached. It was minutes later when Misa just finished sketching the lake and a part of the Forbidden Forest when she had deemed that she was ready for a break. She had been about to perform some stretches when she had felt the presence right behind her and she immediately tensed. How long had this person been there?! She could feel the presence now that she had taken a break from drawing and was more aware of her surroundings. Swallowing the nervous lump lodged in her throat, she turned to see who was behind her, she only knew that it couldn't be Corey or Roto or Coco, they would have snapped her out of her drawing trance if it were any of them. Misa found an unknown boy had been watching her. This was definitely not strange. "Hi? Was there uhm... Anything you needed?" she asked curiously, now knowing that it was another student. Surely couldn't be dangerous, just a little creepy that he had managed to sneak up on her really. Especially when she had been really vulnerable.

It took a little while before the girl noticed him. Hades listened to her speak, before his lips curled into a smile, showing his pearly whites. It only happened for a few moments, before it vanished just as quick. Hades turned his eyes off of her, and then to what she was drawing. He stared at it for a moment, before he said softly, "You seemed vulnerable." It was simple. To the point. He glanced back up at her, before his eyes narrowed just a bit. From how he recognized her, Hades assumed that she had a twin, since there had been her in Ravenclaw and Gryffindor robes. He presumed that this was the Gryffindor one. He had no idea what her name was, on the other hand.

Artemisa did not know what to make of the boy that had seated himself behind her. She was a pretty good judge of character (no, she really isn't, her siblings would argue) and he seemed nice enough. If not a little bit unnerving. Especially with him watching her. She nearly shivered though at the thought that this boy - this stranger - knew that she had been vulnerable as she drew. She tried not to clutch her sketchbook close to her chest, tried not to let her nervousness show. Uncle Liam had always told them to not show weakness, to not show fear because while she was a Raven, she was also a Nightray. "I was preoccupied. I didn't think anyone else would come up here at this time," a weak excuse she knew, but it would have to do. She had never been a good enough liar so there was no point in denying her vulnerability. She'd really have to be more careful about keeping company when out doing her art. "People would claim that it is rude to stare," the girl said, her eyes trained on the boy as she could tell that he was scrutinizing her, had probably seen her around the school - and seen Coco around the school. He was probably trying to figure out who she was. Well, she was just as interested on who he is, but she wasn't about to give her name first. Besides, he was the one who approached her first.

Hades wondered what made this girl so fascinating. Perhaps it was because she did not freak out when he just showed up behind her. He placed his hands together and rested them on his lap, almost buried in his Hufflepuff robes. They were brand new. He didn’t have the hand me downs like other families might have. The excuse she had was a little weak but he would not point that out. Instead, he would state another theory of his, “Perhaps you came up here because it is forbidden. Thus, less likely for you to be bothered.” Hades shrugged his shoulders, figuring that he would be right over that opposed to her excuse. Then she claimed that it is rude to stare. Hades chuckles, “It is rude to assume that people like me follow the customs that others would deem normal.” Hades smirked a little before he finally gave a hand motion as if to introduce himself, “Hades Styx the Third.”

Artemisa shrugged at the slight accusation that she had come up to the cliffs because it was forbidden. While the Cliffs in itself was fascinating and made her really curious just because it was forbidden, it wasn't the reason she was up here. She had known that the view up here was wonderful and that her younger brother would simply be ecstatic to see the view had he been here, but it would still be quite a while before Picco went to Hogwarts. "I heard from the older students that the view here was wonderful. I simply came up here to draw," she said. Though she would have to admit that the place being forbidden to students was quite a shame but that she'd probably hang out here a lot. The Gryffindor smiled lightly as the boy chuckled. "Touché." Artemisa smiled as she gave a slight nod in acknowledgment of his introduction. "Artemisa Luciana Raven."
