🌹 Rose Giving Sunshine and Solidarity

Staring at the names on his list, Connor realised abruptly that he did know one of these people. He had never heard Sully called Solomon before, but he knew the other boy from around the school, and certainly the spin the bottle game that had left an impression on him. He was on the way downstairs to look outside when he spotted Sully up ahead, grinning and waving as he hurried over. "Hi!" Connor said quickly. "Got a rose delivery for you!"

Valentine's was always a special kind of chaos that Sully enjoyed. He'd been less inclined to deliver roses himself the last few years after discovering you weren't allowed to skip class to do it, but he still loved the craziness of all the activity around the school. He'd been heading out to hit the Quidditch pitch before their final game when Eric's little brother ran over. "Oh sweet, hey," He said, happy that someone was still sending him roses even if he'd slacked a bit on getting a date for the dance.

Sully seemed like the kind of popular, confident boy Connor could never quite figure out, but he somehow always felt a bit better about himself just by association when Sully was around. So he smiled broadly as he dug through his basket and found the rose and note he was looking for. "Here you go!" He said brightly, handing them over to the Gryffindor. "Happy Valentines day!"
