Oh how Toni hated the mornings. It was like pure torture waking up in the morning, getting ready, and still having enough time to grab something to eat. Just to have enough time meant that Toni had to wake up an hour earlier than she would normally have to which was clearly three hours earlier than she would have liked to wake up on a normal day at her time of choice. Really Toni would have liked to sleep in most of the day and wake up mid afternoon only to stay up half the night. However this hadn't been the case since she came to Hogwarts. You think a slytherin girl would just get used to it and become a morning person. Well that might be a thought but it wasn't happening with Toni. No matter how many awful mornings she had to get up early she would never turn into a morning person. Toni Addison and Mornings just didn't match. Never would.

However, Toni made her way into the great hall. A simple outfit of a black skirt, that just was a little longer than her finger tips when her arms where at her side. A white and black striped long sleeve shirt as well as a pair of black short boots with a bit of fuzz at the top. Sure not the normal outfit in anyway for the school of Hogwarts, but it was a normal outfit for this Addison girl. If need be, she would throw on her school robes over the outfit, that was of course if someone made her change. No one really cared this early in the morning, certainly not Toni.

Taking a seat at the end of the table, she looked around at all the food choices. Bacon eww. Omlet with ham and cheese. Eww. Toni shook her head, her blonde curls bouncing back and forth with the action. Orange juice. That was a winner or at least a start. Carefully the young girl reached out and grabbed the pitcher of orange juice with pulp and poured herself a glass. Luckily for once she had not spilled a drop. Over time Toni had become less of a klutz. Though she surely wasn't as graceful as she could be, she had gotten better. Even made it through pouring a glass of orange juice and not spilling a drop.

Her brown eyes scanned the table for food of her choice, her mind debating whether she wanted a sunnyside up egg with a side of hashbrowns or if she wanted some pancakes with syrup. Both sounded great, yet she knew she wouldn't be able to have both. Lost in her own thought of what to have, Toni was completely zoning out to the people and voices around her. Really it didnt' matter to her. There weren't any Slytherins that she really wanted to talk to this morning anyway.

Sam awoke by the sound of his alarm, the deafening ring would stay in his ears for at least a minute after. He honestly didn't know why they made alarms so extremely loud? He wasn't deaf, well, he was sure that if he didn't throw out that clock soon he would become deaf over time. Slamming his fist on the clock, almost as if to tell it he was awake, Sam slowly streched out of his bed. He yawned groggily and headed over to the pile of clothes that swarmed his dorm floorboards. Sam sleepily threw on a t-shirt and a pair of worn jeans that hugged his waist nicely. Sam didn't even bother to draw back the curtains, he couldn't care less what kind of day was waiting for him, instead Sam just walked out of his pigsty of a room and headed down to the Great Hall.

Sam was still trying to shake the sleep off of him when he entered the vast hall full of people. The clattering of plates and voices reached him before the smell of food. He hadn't eaten a proper breakfast in the longest of times and the smell of bacon tempted him so. Sam headed over to his usual spot at the Hufflepuff table and wishfully glanced at the Slytherin table. Some days he did this, other days he didn't. Himself and Toni were never on time with each other in the morning, Sam knew well that Toni wasn't a morning person. Not one bit. Sam was usually always up before his girlfriend was and knew that it was dangerous to disturb her. But, this morning was different. He spotted her easily. Sam felt a smile escape onto his face, a rare expression as of late. Looking at her at the table made Sam realize how little he had seen of Toni. He blamed Quidditch practice for the lack of attention to his girlfriend, but in reality it was the fact that he was acting the 'hermit' recently and for no real reason. Sam sat opposite Toni at the Slytherin table, his smile still perched on his handsome face. He could see a few students glaring at him with the corner of his eye almost as if he was in their territory. But he didn't care, not one bit. "Mornin'" He said moving his head to get in her line of vision. Toni seemed a little spaced out but she looked just as beautiful as usual.

Toni reached out for the cup of orange juice crandling it in her hands as her thoughts swirled from breakfast food to lessons to Sam. Sam. How she felt like she was blanking out on her as of late. Both seemed to be busy, but Toni still made sure that she spent some time with him. They wouldn't still be going as strong as they were if they didn't spend time together. It just didn't help that she had been sick recently. Luckily she had gotten over that small flu without the need for the hospital wing. Thank god. If there was one thing Toni hated more than mornings it was the hospital wing. However that was completely off topic. Much like the thoughts that continued to go through her mind before being interupted by the sound of Sam's voice. No actually pushed out of her thoughts by Sam himself.

"Oh Hey" Toni said smiling as she couldn't help but be slightly embarrassed that she was once more zoning out, zoning out enough not to notice Sam making his way over towards the Slytherin table and sitting down. "Good morning" she continued taking a small sip of the orange juice in her hand. Placing it down gently she proceeded to push a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I didn't expect to see you this morning. We usually miss eachother" She spoke looking over at Sam.

The smell of the maple syrup caught the attention of Toni for a moment as she looked down at the pancake platter which seemed to be inching towards her by the second. Obviously it wasn't really moving towards her at all, but the smell was intoxicating. Guess I'm having pancakes Toni thought happily as she reached towards the platter dropping two pancakes onto her plate. Without hesitation she poured plenty of syrup upon both of them, almost filling the plate with maple syrup. After all that was the best part of pancakes and syrup.

Toni's brown eyes glanced back up towards Sam as she grabbed her fork and knife to begin cutting up the pancakes. I don't know how he can look so great in the morning. I wish I would have tried harder when getting ready Toni thought absentmindedly still deep down feeling lucky that she had got a catch like Sam. "So feeling brave sitting at the Slytherin table this morning" Toni said teasing slightly knowing that Sam didn't care about what the glaring Slytherins thought of his presence. Plus Toni doubted anyone would say anything. Not when he was sitting with Toni and not if they didn't want a confrontation.

Sam found it incredible that after dating Toni for a year and four months and had been her friend for three years, he was still utterly infactuated with her. He found himself smiling when she smiled, laughing when she laughed and when they kissed his heart still did cartwheels. Sam admitted to himself a while back that he loved Toni, that he was in love with Toni. He never said that to Toni however. He never said that to anyone. He had to find the right time and place to say something like that to her. But would it be completey stupid to tell her something like that now, after going out with her for a whole year? Sam mentally shook these thoughts out of his head, now it was him who was zoning out.

Sam nodded, "Yeah I know. We never see each other in the mornings." He said while fiddling with a fork that was laid out for a Slytherin. We never see each other full stop, Sam thought to himself in annoyance, it was his fault that they never hung out anymore. Sam poured himself a glass of orange juice, after seeing Toni drink it, it became fairly tempting. He held the glass to his lips when Toni asked if he was feeling brave by sitting at the Slytherin table. He smiled, one of his naturally charming smiles and rested the glass back onto the long wooden table. "Well it was either sitting by the first year puffles-" he looked over his broad shoulder to the Hufflepuff table where a group of children sat giggling innocently. He swore they were getting smaller every year, he was never that small entering Hogwarts, it was almost the end of the year and they could still pass as six year olds. "- or here." He finished turning back to Toni. "The last option was more tempting." He said softly with smile, Sam brought the glass of juice to his lips once more and took a small sip from it.

The great hall was rather loud this morning. Though Toni wasn't sure why this was the case. Didn't people realize how early it was. The sun was up sure, but still this Slytherin could only dream of being back in her comfortable bed. Well actually she would much rather be where she was. Now that Sam was here to keep her company. Even though it was her most hated time of the day, seeing Sam definately helped her enjoy the time, making walking up completely worth it. If someone would have told Toni years a go that she would go to Hogwarts, meet a guy, fall for him, and have him making waking up in the mornings completely worthwhile, she would have laughed in their face. This whole thing Toni never imagined would happen. Though she would rather give up everything than have things turn out differently. No this Slytherin blonde was more than content with her life at this moment.

Making sure the piece of pancake was perfectly cut into a small little piece (it was just sort of natural to be a perfectionist in some cases. This being one of those cases), she brought the fork up to her mouth. Not bad at all she thought happily placing the fork down and dabbing her mouth with the napkin. A smile slid onto her features and a small laugh escaped her lips as she followed Sam's gaze to the Hufflepuff table. The young hufflepuffs did seem to get more annoying and younger each year. Now being a teenager, Toni doubted she was ever that young or ever acted that way. In her mind she had been the same throughout all these years, but truthfully that wasn't the case. Never would Toni admit this, but still it was quite possible that she was once like those first year hufflepuffs.

Toni brought her eyes away from the Hufflepuff table making the view much better as she looked at Sam. Perfect She thought. That word seemed to come back to her mind quite a bit when she was with Sam. Perfect. Everything was always perfect. He was perfect. He always knew the perfect thing to say. No other word but perfect was fitting. "Well I'm glad this table was more tempting. You completely just made my morning" Toni said the smile that always seemed to be engraved into her pale face present when she spoke, a smile that truthfully could mean nothing more than her being happy.

For a moment, Toni looked back down at her plate only to cut another piece of pancake, this time loaded in syrup, and place it into her mouth. Chewing gracefully, she patted her mouth with the napkin once more. All those years of being home and taking lessons on proper eating habits did sort of help this young girl, yet at the same time she would kill to just not have to think about what the proper fork to use or which side of the plate the food should be on. "This year is dragging on though. I mean I just want to get finals over with." Toni admitted not knowing what part of her mind decided to bring that up. "I think I'm just sick of lessons in general though" Toni added letting out a small barely audible laugh. The sad fact was she had years to go. Which really was a good thing, not as much of a sad thing.

Sam placed the glass of juice back onto the table and then looked around for something appealing for his breakfast. This was the problem at Hogwarts, there was such a vast selection of food for each meal everyday and it was so hard to pick something to eat, a meal large enough that it would keep him going until lunch was served, but light enough for so early in the morning. Sam began to place pieces of bacon, hash browns and a spoonful of scrambled eggs onto his plate. It seemed appealing enough. Sam brought the glass to his lips once more but before he drank from it, he took a glance at Toni who was neatly dabbing a napkin against her lips. She was always so perfectly polite and well.. tidy when she ate, in fact it used to intimidate Sam. He used to try and eat as properly as Toni did but after a while he gave up, he realised Toni didn't care that he sometimes ate like a slob. She wasn't dating him for his eating habits, that much he knew.

After taking a large gulp of orange juice Sam placed the glass on the table and began to cut up his bacon. Sam's eyes slid over to Toni as she said he had made her morning. "Dido." He said simply before eating a forkful of bacon. As he chewed he really realized how much Toni had just made his morning, he really didn't have a good feeling about today but it was already better then any other day that week. Once he swallowed he continued, "I mean, I was planning on returning to bed after this." He smiled while looking down at the full platter of food in front of him. "But now, I actually feel like living this day out." He didn't really know what he would do with this day, prehaps he would go practice quidditch once more? Or maybe go and find some of his friends? Which was a very foreign activity as of late. "This is pretty much the highlight of my day."Sam wasn't going to add, 'so far' into that sentence because he knew this would be the highlight of his day. Nothing would really top this. Unless of course he hung out with Toni later.

Sam ate a forkful or two of scrambled egg and washed it down with his orange juice. He could completely agree with Toni's next comment. This year was definitely the 'longest' year he had experienced. "Tell me about it! Seriously, it's ridiculous." Sam said shaking his in annoyance. He was even getting bored of sleeping in Astronomy, which usually was something to look forward to after a long day of classes. "I personally think its the lack of drama though." Sam said with a soft chuckle, knowing that Toni would know what he meant. "Nothing has happened this year." He stated with a sense of accomplishment. The group managed to stay out of any sort of drama except, "Scorpius and Taylor.." Sam thought aloud. "I completely forgot." Sam looked away from Toni and stared of into space in amazement. He couldn't believe he forgot about that. Not once had he talked to Scorpius about the break-up, well, Scorpius didn't come looking for him either. However, he did manage to talk to Taylor about it, which was a start but that was a while back. He didn't know how either felt now? Sam was feeling particullarly guilty and looked back at Toni, "Have you spoken to either of them about it?"
