Andromeda had gotten up early on the only day off the third years had and donning her jeans and Gryffindor sweater and her old trainers she made her way down to the Great Hall. Mike had specifically asked her to meet him here at this ungodly hour. Granted it was only seven in the morning but it was the only day she ever had to stay in bed. Wondering what exactly he was planning, she made her way over to the Gryffindor table.

She was grateful when she saw the large pot of steaming coffee on the table and poured herself a large mug of it. She liked it black and strong and cupping both hands around the mug, she inhaled its heedy aroma before taking a sip. This would help wake her up slowly and perhaps when Mike arrived she would be wide awake and completely alert. It looked as if it would be a rainy day outside so she truly hoped he wasn't planning on any outdoor pursuits, right now her bed was looking good still and knew that if Mike didn't show up soon, she would simply crawl back there.

Mike had woken up, smiling slightly, glad that today he had something fun and exciting to do. He climbed down to the Gryffindor Table, slightly shocked to see Andy there, bot really expecting the people involved to be on time. He would have cut them a bit of slack anyway seeing as though it was early morning. "Morning Andy" Mike said stiffling a yawn. "Thanks for coming, and on time, although I wouldn't have minded you being a bit late" Mike said thankful he wouldn't be on his own. Mike noticed Andy had some coffee in her hand, and so poured himself a drink, but instead he drunk some pumpkin juice, deciding it was a bit too early fro him to get some caffeine down him even though he needed some otherwise he would just fall back asleep. "I'll just wait to see if anyone else arrives, before I explain, unless you would like me to explain now if you'd like?" Mike asked her simply.

Zazuka made her way to the Griffendor Table after deciding that today would be a good day to ware a head band so that her black curls cascaded over her frail looking shoulders. A white Boho skirt went to her feet which where covered by blue trainers but had no socks. A brown sudded belt rested at her hips while a peach ribbon hid the fact that the shirt was not connected to the skirt. The shirt was mostly white with a few stars along the shoulders. Because of the slight cold in the castle Zazuka wore a light blue jacket but open.

Zazuka spoted Andy and Mike and went to them. "So Mike what's the plan?" She asked with a brilent smile on her face. She really was wondering what this was all about and more over if Andrew would join them. It seemed that they where spending less and less time together. She only hoped it wasn't because of Pez. Zazuka shook off the feeling of dread that she got from that girl though her smile did not become her usual sunshine smile. Zazuka reached over for a cup of coffee and started to add lots of sugar and milk to it.

Brian hated to be late as he ran around his room trying ot find things they might need, Andy, Zazuka and a few others were going to start a questand Brian wanted to make sure they had everything ready. It felt just like old times when Brian had been a first year and he would be lying if he didn't feel excited for this. Brian had spent a great deal last night reading up on Dragons and a few other creatures Hogwarts might have hidden inside some abandon dungeon. It was a foolish thought to think that a school would have dragons somewhere inside but then again this was also Hogwarts which had a shark living in the lake and dangerous centaurs walking about in the forest along with the dreaded Nargles. Brian wasn't about to leave anything up to chance.

Grabbing his bag and donning a pair of blue jeans, trainers and T-shirt he was quick to remeber his Navy Jacket. The weather had been warming up lately but not warm enough that one could go out and not have a jacket, not to mention the spring showers that were beggining to show up throughout the day. Brian made his way to the great hall where he saw his friends. Passing by the Ravenclaw Table Brian snatched up a peice of toast and made his way towards the Gryffindor Table. Brian was more than pleasedto see that he wasn't the last one to arrive but even more pleased to see that Andrew wasn't there. "Hello" Brian said brightly to the group of third years as he joined them. Brian layed his bag onto the bench and took a seat as he began to eat his toast.

Andromeda smiled over the rim of her coffee mug as Mike headed towards her and took a seat at their table. She watched as he poured himself some juice.
"Hey Mike, I'm good and trust me if I didn't get up when I did, I would still be tucked up in bed. This so better be worth it mate" she smiled at him, they had their differences of course over the years but she liked Mike. He was one of those good, dependable boys even though she knew himself and Zuka had a run in a while back.

"You're alright I'm good to wait for the others, my brain hasn't kicked in yet" as she finished Zuka entered the Great Hall looking as unorthodox as ever. Andy smiled at her, Zuka was definitely an original.
"Morning you" she smiled as she pushed the coffee pot towards her. Zuka and Andy seemed to be only able to function some mornings after they had their coffee.
Brian came along not far behind Zuka and greeted them all as he munched on his toast. Andy smiled at him and nodded her greeting. There would always be a part of her that would wonder what if? What if he didn't think of her as a sister? What if she had kissed him that time in the garden when she had been revising? What if she had told him how she felt? She shook herself slightly and took some more coffee. She still cared for him but it had all changed, friendships were what she wanted more than anything. Still she could never deny the fact that he could still send her pulse racing.

Stretching and yawning, Violet stumbled out of the Hufflepuff common room, tripping on her ballet flats which weren't quite on her large feet properly. Muttering to herself, she wrapped her jacket around her and slowly and cautiously made her way downstairs, down to the Great Hall where she was to meet a few of her fellow third years, not exactly sure what the purpose of this early morning meeting was but willing to participate nonetheless. She ran her fingers through her strawberry-blonde hair, hoping to put it in to some sort of order, but knew she looked messy. Violet Bellamy and mornings did not always go together.

Yawning again, Violet reached the Gryffindor house table, where she saw a few of her yearmates already seated - Andy, who had seemingly disappeared again for a while, Brian, Mike, and Zazuka. "G'day," she greeted, with a sleepy smile. She stepped over to the Hufflepuff table next door and got herself a cup of tea and a bagel. She never had much of an appetite, particuarly at breakfast, but with something being organised by a Gryffindor, Violet knew she'd have to be energised.

"Right" Mike said clearing his throat placing his empty cup on the table. "Seeing as though most of us are here, then I'll clarify why I called you all here. I'm usre you're all anxious to know why" Mike said enthusiastically. "Well has anyone ever heard of the Room of Requirement?" Mike asked, continuing before anyone could answer yes or no. "Well I thought it be alright if we went hunting for it" Mike asked. "Seeing as though it's hidden, then we could choose a few corridors etc searching for it. Of course I can't promise that we will strike gold and find it, but hey it's getting us active, and socialise together, which we haven't done for a while as a year group as a whole" Mike said smiling slightly. "Any questions?" Mike asked the group after he said all he needed to say.

Zazuka waived at Vi and Brian when he came in. Zazuka had buried her 'prince' image of him along with her other feelings after falling for Andrew but she couldn't help but think that it might not be dead just buried. Zazuka sighed. It would always be that way. Brian was her first crush ever after all. First human crush that was. Zazuka never tell anyone but at a young age Zazuka thought she was in love with an entitiy that she had met in the woods near her home one day.

Zazuka looked in thought when Mike told them what they where here for. The room of requerment was one of those things that she had forgotten about for a while. "Can we map out the school if we find passage ways and other things on our search? It would help us catch those prankster first years easyer as Prefects." She said pushing her glasses forward. She let her eyes slip around the great hall for a bit. Where was Andrew? She had told him that he too had been invited to this.

"Sure" Mike said beaming at her enthusiasm. "Just aslong as you don't let it fall into the wrong person's hand. If so the Prefects could have their work cut out. Which is something no one wants" Mike said neither jokingly but neither sternly. "Any one else got any questions or suggestions" Mike said laughing just after he said this as it rhymed. Mike gave into temptation and poured himself a coffee, pouring some milk in, and some sugar, staring it, before sipping it. Thank god for caffeine Mike told himself.

Andromeda listened as she downed now her third mug of coffee, the caffeine was kicking in slowly but it was kicking in. The old room of requirement huh? She laughed remembering how herself and Zuka and Brian had attempted this in their first year and had all but given up. Wondering if either of them had continued the search while she had been away she looked at them. Zuka seemed overly enthused by it all so she obviously hadn't been looking.

Andy shot her hand up into the air.
"Yeah I've got a question, when do we start?"

Brian looked at the group knowing that this was his moment to shine "Actually, I've already tried mapping out the school" Brian said pulling out the paper that he'd been working on through the Christmas Hollidays. "Unfortunately I have yet to animate the map, which makes it quite difficult since a few of the secret passageways seem to change and I would guess that the room of requirements is likely to be the same" Brian said showing off his map which had a few X's on it to mark a passageway that had been thier but since dissapeared. Brian had made a few searches for the room of requirement and at one point had guess that it would appear in two corridors but unfotunately had no luck in finding the room that comes and goes.

Zazuka let her eyes slip around again then at the Slytherin table. Still no Andrew. She tryed to keep her sunshine smile though. "I saw that. You never got back to me on weather or not you wanted me to animate them for you. I'm pretty good at the spell now." She said with a wide smile. Zazuka didn't feel too bad that Andrew wasn't here. Being with her friends was still going to be fun. She just missed him. Zazuka would have time to feel her heart rip later on. Now she was just happy to be here.

Violet raised an eyebrow as she sipped her cup of tea. The Room of Requirement? she thought - although she figured this could be fun. Especially if they found the room. But even if they didn't, still, they'd have a good time looking, in any case. "You made a map, Brian?" Violet asked, intrigued - even more intrigued by the fact that Zazuka knew how to animate it. It's why you're not a Ravenclaw and they are, Violet, her mind told her, as she munched on her bagel.

"Well that's great Brian, way to go you" she was being slightly snippy and didn't care. Andromeda hadn't realised that there would be a whole gang of them going, she smiled at Zuka though.
"Wow you are getting pretty advanced aren't you?" the pride was there in the tone of her voice, she flung her bag up onto the table and began putting some food into it.
"Well this is my contribution then. I'll bring the snacks. This could be very hard work considering the size of the castle and the amount of passageways, moving staircases, secret doors, locked doors that hide other passageways" she smiled vaguely as she continued putting bread rolls and fruit into her bag.

"Great" Mike said rubbing his hands tigether with anticipation. "Er shall we start today?" Mike asked.!Where?" He asked another question before anyone could answer the first. "Is today a good day for everyone?" Mike asked scanning their faces, hoping they could start as soon as possible, in other words preferably today. Mike waited for any replies.

Zazuka put her hand over her lips and blushed lightly. "Only Animation spells. You could say I've gone a little off the deep end with them. I can make the dolls I make do almost anything I want them to now. Some of them can even be confused with real people. Well they could have been if they weren't five inches tall." She said using one of her index finger to measure the hight.

Zazuka turned towards Mike while looking up. "I think we should start from the bottom up. Meaning the first floor because I have been up and down the dungeons and haven't found a thing." She said with a sure nod. What she had been doing in the dungeons was between her, Andrew and the echoes that she was sure were not going to say anything.

"thing is Zazuka was I kinda wanted to animate the map myself" Brian said a bit sheepishly, he was okay at animating a few smaller things but animating a map to show the changes in the school was serious magic and would be difficult to master, alot could go wrong. You could end up animating the map but not have it reflect what was actually going on in the school which would end up making the map pointless.

"I think we should split up and search the school, me and Zazuka can be a pair Andromeda and Mike can be a pair as well" Brian said then realizing that Violet was the only Hufflepuff "you can come with us Violet!" Brian said not wanting it to sound stupid but thinking that it probably did. "I think it would be most successfull for the overall goal" Brian said matter of factly.

"Yeah, that way we can cover more ground" Mike said. "No wonder Brian made it to Ravenclaw" he said laughing. How about we all go to the dungeons and search there, then we each take it a corridor at a time in our groups?" Mike asked them. "Brian surely Andrew would want to be in the same group as Zuka. So surely it makes more sense for us to have Violet?" Mike asked him. Mike wondered whether Andrew got the message, or did he just oversleep? Mike asked himself.

Zazuka looked down and sighed. "Andrew may not be comming." She said with her arms wrapped around her lace coved stomach. It made her a bit sick to think that she could be losing Andrew to a girl like Pez but there was little she could do if she was. It was always like this now. She would set something up for them and then Zazuka was left waiting. Was she really that boring that Andrew would rather spend time with someone else than with her? Zazuka had been analyzing this for quite some time now.

Andromeda rolled her eyes and tossed a small bread roll at Mike.
"It's not exactly rocket science to decide to break up into groups" she muttered, "And if it was such a clever idea then there wouldn't be two Ravenclaws together and two Gryffs. It'd have made more sense to have someone with brains and someone with a back bone on each team".
She smiled at Violet.
"Of course when you have both of those it also helps too. So if Violet doesnt'mind we'll take Violet into our little group and you two brains can go use the only map you have."
For some reason she was a little testy and looking down at her slightly shaking hand warned herself not to drink anymore coffee.
"Don't worry Mike I have a map as well. Myself and Carly did it up when I was in first year" she took her wand out of her pocket with a yawn, "I can't believe that after all that coffee I'm still yawning".

Violet shrugged. "I'm fine with that," she said, with a small smile. It was amusing to watch as each side - easily split off in to Ravenclaws and Gryffindors - debated who got the outsider, the one from the other house. Taking a long sip of her tea, she figured that she should be happy to be included. She kept herself aloof from the other students, it seemed, focusing most of her energy on studying. It seemed she wasn't extremely close to anyone. I should change that, she though, noncommitally.

"Right" Mike said listening to everyone's ideas and questions. "Andy that's a great idea" Mike told her smiling. "Right so how is this going to work?" he asked them all. "Are Violet, Andy and I starting from the first floor working our way up, whilst you 2" Mike asked Brian and Zuka "Starting from the North Tower and working your way down?" Mike asked, "That way if it all works well we should be meeting up around the fifth floor or so?" Mike asked them all.

Andy stood up immediately anxious to be underway.
"I'm down with that, let's go if everyone is ready. The longer we hang about chatting nothing will get done" she was definitely more a doer and hated sitting around yakking about something. She was glad she would be with Mike and Violet, not sure if another arguement or another anything would strike up if she went with Brian. She had felt a bit dejected that he hadn't suggested her for his team though. If she wasn't careful the little green monster called envy would sneak up on her, so she swung her bag over her shoulder and smiled at Zuka.
"That means you two will have to get your own munchies for the journey".

It had taken a moment for Zazuka to pull herself out of her thoughts of Andrew. She smiled as wide as she could up at Andy. "No worrys you know I can make almost anything given the instuctions." She said. Zazuka had a bit of a poor memeory for making anything that wasn't a sandwitch without a cookbook but when she did have one her food almost always came out alright.
